Took about 15mins to seat us 7 people. Service is a little on the slow side but it's quite typical in these types of breakfast/lunch places. Although they had a LOT of servers on the floor. The food is 2/5 in my opinion. The curly fries are good but many were too overcooked and just crumb-like when you bite onto it. The strawberries and bananas were quite mushy, over ripe. The eggs were very undercooked, the white part was runny, we asked for overeasy... Steak was like rubber. Not good at all. Coffee was really good. I wouldn't come here again or would come and just order something else aside from everything else we ordered.

But they do have some lunch items like burgers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, & poutine. We came here for a family holiday lunch get together to exchange gifts. Food I ordered the country burger with fries, my mom had the banana berry crepes, my dad had the california burger special, hubby had the banquet burger, our niece had the gluten free pancakes, brother in law had the reuben sandwich. I can't remember what my sister in law had. My country burger was okay. It tasted like it had a hint of relish on it though I asked for it to be plain. Other than that my burger was pretty ordinary & the fries were ordinary as well. My mom couldn't finish her crepes & took it home. It was too sweet for her. My dad couldn't finish his burger. He said it was okay. Service We had a couple of waitstaff that were two young ladies. They were friendly & efficient. We made our orders & got the food in good time. I wish they had seated us at the back of the restaurant though. It wasn't as busy there and they had a couple of tables they could've pushed together for our party of 7. Instead they seated us in the middle, right in front of the doors. I could see right into their galley kitchen. Not the view I wanted. Ambiance The colours of the restaurant are yellow and black. There are booths & tables that are wood. The chairs are upholstered in black. This isn't a large location. It's tight quarters here. At the back are the single washrooms. Only three in total. I saw lots of people getting takeout from here. The people that did dine in didn't stay for long. Conclusion. I didn't like the food that much. It's pretty ordinary. I can get a better burger somewhere else. I won't be coming back to Stacked.

We also had the Reuben and a Brisket poutine. The poutine and rib sandwich were our favourites. Was a little on the pricey side but quality was good. Lots of seating and cool vibes (love the Anthony Bourdain poster) with 90s hip hop music playing. We ordered on the self service machine and they called us to the counter to pick up the food when ready.

I really love the atmosphere they've created which has thoughtful seating, great decor, and a niche, cozy feel. For my first visit, I went with their Smash Burger ($9.95) and upgraded to a double for about $4 more. The pricing is pretty reasonable compared to other smash/gourmet burger places. The burger features dry-aged, house-ground Canadian beef chuck, smashed thin and crispy, topped with cheddar, S&S smash sauce, S&S pickles, caramelized onions, and shredded lettuce on a freshly baked potato roll. The bun isn't the most "pillowy" soft I've had, with a slightly brioche-like top, but still delicious and elevated. The seasoning on the edges was a bit salty for me, but once everything came together with the bun and condiments, it worked well. Simple, classic, and satisfying. Service was friendly, and there's ample parking. They offer online ordering, but I recommend going in person for the full experience and to pick up their stamp card (buy 10 burgers, get one free, and yes, you can redeem it for a double). Next on my list to try: their Montreal smoked meat. A hidden gem and great find.

The only downside (-1 star) was the fact the gravy should have been layered. The top curds were gooey but the lower ones had yet to melt. But as I ate my burger the rest of the curds did melt too. The poutine was tasty and the fried were the right kind for poutine- no too thick or thin. The burger was medium well cooked. I know some purists like a bit of pink - just not me. However I am sure you can ask if you prefer a different grill setting. The burger comes with the usual, tomatoes, onion, pickle and ketchup. This is not your neighbour's burger with relish and mustard. Save those for hotdogs. The patties were juicy and flavourful. Pro tip: as for extra napkins. Trust me you will need it for the double patty burger. The bun was good too. Slightly toasted so as to keep the glorious inside between the buns and all over the place. They do have an assortment of add-ons: bacon, cheddar cheese, provolone, mushrooms etc Al. I kept mine to the usual add-ons. The star is the burger not these sides. Final word. The staff were very welcoming and thanked me for my business.
