Amazing experience. I have been hands down a Five Guys guy for a long time with Ray's Hell burgers as my second best. After trying BurgerFi, it now shares the top spot with Five Guys. Apart from flavor town, BurgerFi definitely scores some extra points for ambience with their modern tech age look and feel. however not sure if it has as many locations as Five Guys. This is easily the best fast casual burger place in Loudoun County. It's better than Elevation Burger, Five Guys, Melt, Burger 21, Jake's Wayback Burger, Smashburger, BGR, and B Loudoun. In my opinion the place is overpriced and even though it looks like there's about 20 employees working, My buddy and I were the only ones at the counter and had to wait 5 mins for the cashier to notice us. We even moved right in front the the cash register and stood there staring at the cashier, who was having a casual conversation with the other cashier. Food wise, the burger was a bit too pink and really salty. They are also small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.. My milkshake felt like it had 600 calories and was extremely too sweet. We used to go here often, but been shying away and that's what I recommend. Ordered burgers to go and fries. Packaging makes no sense - fries were put directly in open bag with no foil or wrapping so scattered in bag that could not close and were cold by the time I got 10 minutes away from restaurant. I was specific that no lettuce and no bun should be put on one burger and sure enough there was lettuce. I explained it was an allergy and was pretty much told eat at your own risk we guarantee nothing. The burger meat was of low quality and had changed since the last time we ate here and it was overall unsatisfactory. The counter girl taking the order had to go through the order several times in her specific order, and even then it wasn't right. Sorry, despite how close you are to our home, BurgerFi isn't for us. We have lots of other choices where the service is better, quality is better, and there is at least a willingness to work with allergies. In an era of many burger chains, BurgerFi stands out with some of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. Everyone has their own opinion on what the best burger is, but I tend to favor the "fast food style" thin patty cooked on a griddle, in a double or triple stack. These guys do it right, with a really fantastic bun as well. The CEO burger, made with wagyu and brisket, is killer. I also love that you can get chili and/or jalapenos as a topping. BurgerFi seems to be unsure what they want to be when they grow up. Are they a burger-joint? Ice-cream parlour? Family restaurant? Sustainable business? Gastropub? Dance club? They try to be all of these at once, and can't seem to do any of them right. As soon as you walk in, you're assaulted by the loud music. Now, I'm no old-man-get-off-my-lawn hater of music - the tunes they were playing were fine, but the volume wasn't at all conducive to the family atmosphere they were trying for. The ladies behind the counter had to shout so I could hear. I ordered a cheeseburger - standard, with lettuce and their "special sauce." A small order of fries, and a locally brewed beer from Lost Rhino. The beer was served immediately in the same kind of plastic cup you get at baseball games, which contrasts directly with the sustainable compressed fiberboard tabletops of which they so happily crow. I waited about 10 minutes for my burger and fries to come out. Paged by a convenient buzzer, I retrieved my food and returned to my table. The fries were good. Hot, fluffy in the center, and well salted. The burger, however, was entirely uninteresting. Too salty, cooked well-done, but if there was any "special sauce," I didn't taste it at all. I've had Wendy's burgers taste better, and for half the price. With restaurants nearby like Melt, in downtown Leesburg, I don't see Burger Fi being worth your trouble. read more

I was really underwhelmed with this place. The food was alright. Lack of creative variety left me reconsidering a meal here, but my friend insisted we stay. I got the Burgerfi cheeseburger with plain fries and a drink and that ran me nearly $15. Yikes. The burger was relatively small for the price and it's definitely something I could've made at home (I'd probably make a better burger but shh). Finally, a Great burger at a good price. To the burger lovers - check this place out, you will not regret it. I have visited a few times now and tried the Veggie (Quinoa) Burger, excellent option and the Alternative Burger - the cheese sauce with grilled onions is super! Both times had the onion rings. The rings themselves are huge fat slices, you get about 7 in the order. The concrete was carefeully crafted, I customized the OMC (Oh My Chocolate) swapping the sprinkles and peanut butter sauce for coconut and caramel - it was awesome. The Menu is posted above the counter, and hand-helds are available near the door and on the counter. As with most places, you can order standard and special menu items or customize and build your own. If you like you can order your frozen treat with your regular food order, but I like to eat mine at the end of the meal. Instead of eating a half melted version or having to get back in line - there is an express counter - just for ordering the shakes, custards and concretes! AWESOME! To the funny guy who doesn't understand the frozen custard option... really, never had an icecream or shake with a burger before or visited any fastfood or other burger joint... anywhere??? Enjoy... If anyone has ever eaten In-n-out, it puts this place to shame. I enjoyed elevation burger much better (which claims similar things about no hormones, natural foods, etc), and I would even say sadly that I would rather have five guys. There is something off with the taste, it seems very bland to me even after I added cheese, mushrooms, jalapenos, etc. I have decided that all the places around here that do a fries and onion rings combo are NOT worth doing. Everytime I order the combo I get 3 onion rings and the rest are fries. I will give it a try again, perhaps I was too harsh or it was just a bad day for the food. read more

A new guilty pleasure! I tried Burgerfi this weekend when I was visiting in VA! I was happy to find out that one has just opened up in the Tampa, FL area!!!! The prices were a little high, but I think totally worth it! It is a similar concept to Five Guys but a fancier version! I upgraded my double to the brisket and it was very yummy!!!! I love this place! My husband and I just happened to see it when we were heading to the town center for some Pinkberry last weekend and decided to go back later for dinner. So glad we did! The burgers have tons of flavor and there are so many toppings to choose from, we were both able to customize what we wanted. The bacon was worth the up-charge and was thick and crispy. I also enjoyed the HUGE onion rings on the menu - which I could only eat 4 of so beware when you order sides because they're large. One thing to note is that while the menu is 'all natural' they do have up-charges for things like organic ketchup, which is pretty annoying for the price of the food so I took a star away for that. The setup of the restaurant is comfortable with large windows that get tons of sun. It's an ecofriendly establishment as well - which attracted us to try it in the first place. Table tops are made from compressed recycled wood and chairs from recycled coke bottles (very cool). You do have to order at the counter, but they will bring you your food once its ready. I didn't try any of the beers, but saw that they had a good selection of bottled micro-brews and several beers on tap. They also have a frozen custard bar- which was just amazing. Yes- it was tempting enough to try a cup even after Pinkberry earlier that day :-) We will definitely be back soon. read more

Bought a $10 for $20 livingsocial deal so figured we should check this place out. I LOVE burgers and have eaten at just about every notable burger place in the DMV. BURGERFI wouldn't even crack my top 10. Here are my main the issues i have with this place: 1. The burgers are very small for the price 2. They only cook medium well or well done, DRY! Either means they don't grind their meat in-house, its not USDA Prime Choice, or they just like making dry burgers. 3. The burgers lacked memorable seasoning and flavor 4. They use Martin's potatoes rolls for buns. That's cool, but i can use those when i grill out in my backyard; no gourmet or in house baked buns like MELT in Leesburg. Good: Ambiance and decor is really cool They do have custard and concretes like shake shack They serve beer and wine, if that's your thing Decent fries Nice town center area to shop/hang out I would say its on par with BGR; but they are definitely a poor man's shake shack.
