    Cr Shady Side Crab Cakes
    Linda B.

Nicely appointed dining room that could accommodate your larger party celebrations. The 2 small crab cakes came out a little cool for me, so they reheated them and gave me fresh fries. If you like shoestring fries, this is your place. Coleslaw is good - wish I had had more than a ramekin bowl. The remoulade is thick and has just a touch of a kick, which I like. I was there on a Monday, so I got their crabcakes for half price ($25 on the end of March on Mondays and Tuesdays). They brought me a pumpernickel bun while I waited for my meal which came quickly. Everything was good and service was prompt.

Seared Ahi Tuna with mashed potatoes

I've been here a couple of times at this point, and unfortunately, I've felt like I've noticed the quality has started to go downhill recently. The service is great even when it's busy. They were able to seat a party of 6 within 10-15 minutes during rush hour on a weekend, and the food came out promptly and all at once. I love the complimentary bread rolls that come with the table! Unfortunately, the appetizers and entrees were disappointing. The calamari portion was extremely small and because the calamari was sitting on a bed of two sauces, the bottom of the calamari was soggy - I would've preferred if the sauce was off to the side or in a separate sauce cup. I had several issues with the seared Ahi tuna with mashed potatoes. The Ahi tuna was so fishy and unseasoned to the point where it was not palatable and I had to spit it out. The mashed potatoes were thin and had no texture and tasted like box mix mashed potatoes. Overall, it was super disappointing for the price point and would not recommend this entree. Some of the other entrees are decent, like the chicken tenders with fries and the King Street Cajun pasta, but overall, I've noticed a downgrade in quality as it seems like corners are being cut.

Chicken Piccata, BRG Manhattan, and apple walnut cobbler

Excellent food! The chicken piccata was delicious! The calamari was delicious! The BEST I have ever had! The BRG Manhattan drink was tasty! The apple walnut cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream was delicious! Great service! Ask for Alexandra!!

    Cold Seafood Appetizer

We were lucky to get the spectacular Cold Seafood Appetizer on Friday! It offers a generous amount of smoked salmon and lump crab. Each with their own creamy dipping sauce. The Ahi Tuna is medium to medium rare that comes with a vinaigrette. The steamed shrimp are huge and meaty.

Bit into a metal screw head while eating a French dip sandwich!!!

Please put less screws in the meat next time!! lol Managers was very nice about it and comped our entire meal and gave us a gift card. I understand this type of thing can happen so I will come back in the future.

Chose this restaurant based on a yelp sort claiming it had the highest rating....ummm ok. First of all, I love sports bars and the music here is terrific. Food and drink-wise, I was definitely expecting more upscale, based on the sort. It pretty much bar food and definitely not would I would've initially chosen. Woodford old fashioned - terribly sweet. It's like I'm drinking liquid sugar House salad - mainly lettuce with corn on it. NO. BLT sandwich - sooo greasy. So greasy. The taste isn't bad but .. Hostesses and servers are friendly and the venue is huge.

    Lobster bisque and loaded potato.
    Scott A.

Service was quick and food was amazing. The lobster bisque was creamy and loaded with a good amount of lobster. Loaded potato was so big it could have been a meal into itself. The fried chicken salad was divine. The chicken was not processed and was dreaded in a light crispy coating, not thick at all and quite flavorful. Dressing and presentation were off the chart and my wife loved it immensely. My BLT with avocado was toasted to perfection and loaded with bacon, no scrimping on the bacon! Fries were good, hot and crisp and the avocado fresh and served on the side as I liked it to add it myself. Restaurant was busy but we were seated and served quickly with attention to detail including filling our drinks. Bathroom was clean and the over all floor was pretty clean and they had someone working on it through the meal. Excellent choice for my Mother in Laws birthday lunch!

Steak Pasta special (not usually on the menu)
    Tiffany S.

I was in the Leesburg area on a Saturday afternoon and decided to stop on in to Blue Ridge Grill to see what they were about. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive and pleasant. I ordered the Steak Pasta special that they had going on during the time of my visit. It was okay. They did give alot of sauce which I did like but the steak was prepared more on the rare side. I usually prefer my steaks to be cooked a bit longer. Plus, the steak was very gristly and made me feel like I was about to choke with every bite. Even after cutting the steak up in super small pieces, I was still gagging. My favorite food is steak and I've never encountered this gristle choke issue until now. Lol I'd give the customer service a 10 out of 10, but a 7 out of 10 for the food. Overall, Four out of Five Stars but next time I'm in Leesburg I might stop back thru and try a different menu item that might change my rating.

When they arrived they seemed oddly small for what you would expect, more so trimmings than "Steak Tips." For dinner I was between a couple of items, but I rushed myself to order the Steak and Cheese. When it arrived it appeared that I received the previously mentioned "steak tips" sandwiched between bread, with some condiments and cheese. Maybe I should have read the description a bit more carefully or maybe I expected something more typical of a Steak and Cheese. I did want to order the steak tacos after both, just to see if they were the same. Someone please let me know. I understand that restaurants will utilize ingredients across multiple dishes but this just seemed ridiculous.

We stopped in on a Friday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated immediately, which gave us a chance to take in the restaurant's charming farmhouse aesthetic. With its high ceilings and rustic décor, it feels like a modern take on an old country farmhouse that's warm and inviting without feeling overdone. As an unexpected bonus, we happened to visit during Restaurant Week, and the special was an incredible value. It included a Buff-Mosa, deviled eggs, and the Low Country Biscuit. My wife ordered the Southern Philly, so we ended up sampling a little of everything. The Buff-Mosa was a refreshing way to start the meal. Made with Blue Ridge Vodka, Cava, and strawberry-watermelon juice, it was light, crisp, and not overly sweet. The deviled eggs were topped with bacon jam, which added a nice savory touch. They had a bit more mustard and horseradish kick than I'm accustomed to, but they were still delicious and packed with flavor. The real star, though, was the Low Country Biscuit. It was absolutely enormous, stacked with perfectly fried chicken, chunky pimento cheese, and hot honey. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the combination of the rich pimento cheese with the sweet heat of the hot honey was outstanding. The honey added just enough spice to complement the sandwich without overpowering the other flavors. I also tried a bite of my wife's Southern Philly, and it was fantastic. It's a creative Southern spin on a classic Philly cheesesteak and one that's definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One fun detail I really appreciated was that the check is presented inside a book, a small touch that fits perfectly with the restaurant's farmhouse theme. Between the outstanding biscuits, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent service, Buford's Biscuits delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. There are still plenty of menu items I'd love to try, so we'll definitely be back.

We were here for a birthday meal for my husband, which we noted on the reservation. The good: Service, while not great, was ok. She asked if we were here for anything in particular and I mentioned his birthday (which in many places, they would have known from the notation on the reservation, but again, this was not something that bothered me in particular.) The rest: First, the food. Our appetizers were on the "specials": a watermelon salad and crab stuffed squash blossoms. The watermelon was good overall, but with the current issue of cyclospora outbreak, we probably would have picked something else if the menu had noted that one of the ingredients was arugula. I realize that this is just us being overly cautious but it would have been good to know in advance. The squash blossom stuffing tasted more like tuna than crabmeat. Edible but not that good. It got worse with entrees. Husband ordered the ribeye and I had the short rib. I was actually shocked to see that steak: it was SO thin. Wish I had thought to take a picture of it. Due to this, it was overcooked - almost impossible not to do so for such a thin piece of meat. A ribeye at Texas Roadhouse would have been superior to this, and probably half the price (it was criminal to charge $58 for this.) Also nowhere on the menu did it say that the seasoning in the steak was spicy. Again - would have ordered something else had he known that. Short rib was dry and the reduction sauce was overly salty. The goat cheese potato puree that accompanied both tasted good but there was so little of it that it was more of a suggestion of a side than an actual side. We skipped dessert and asked for the check, which took a long time to arrive. Eventually the waitress arrived, apologized for the wait, and set down an empty plate with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup with a birthday candle. Huh??? Either give some kind of dessert or don't bother! We would have rather had no acknowledgement than this waste of time and dirtying a plate. To be clear - we weren't looking for a free dessert; we were ready to go and would have ordered something if we wanted it. But this is just weird. I'm sorry to see this place go downhill. It is overpriced and lacking in the quality that it had in past years.
