In recent visits to a Burger King the last few years it's been via drive thru to order 2 breakfast sandwiches---very simple. I want to order, get my food and more on and get on with my day---a great visit is just that---this one was not and since I am hoping it's simply a 1 time bad experience I will give this a 2 stars as the breakfast sandwiches were their customary tasteful, albeit a little greasy, and filling. But customer service was bad---although I was the only one in the drive through, I had to wait and when I was told I could order it was abrupt and made me feel unwelcome. I paid for my food and when the food appeared, the young lady handed my to go bag to me and before I could say anything she said your welcome to me and turned around. This was my experience at Burger King 6783, 5119 Jones Creek Road, Baton Rouge LA on 9/30/2023, at about 9:45 AM. I entered the Burger King and went to counter to place my order. While waiting, I heard two BK employees, E1 and E2, arguing. Both were at the order preparation station just behind the customer counter. This argument lasted for a few minutes, starting loud and growing until both parties were yelling at the top of their lungs. It continued until E1 yelled 5 or 6 times "Get the f-- out of my face." E2 walked away from that area making unheard comments under her breath. Another employee, I assume the manager went to talk to E1, apparently trying to calm her down. E1 then moved to the counter to take and distribute orders. She was obviously still upset, but interacted in a civil manner. After a few minutes, E2 moved from behind the counter to the customer dining area. She was pacing around yelling at E1 and the world in general. There was lots of yelling with liberal doses of F-bombs. During this rant, I didn't hear any response from any other employee. This went on for at least 5 minutes before E2 got someone on the phone and started to tell how poorly she was treated. She went outside and continued her phone call for a while. I didn't hear any more. I realize that professionalism is rare these days, but I still cannot believe this experience. This is why I'll never visit Burger King #6783 again. read more

The last 3 times I've attempted to stop here, I've been met with the comment "sorry we're unable to take orders at this time". Laughter in the background each time. Well, I did not have it my way at Burger King. This BK is fit with a very big indoor play place. It is three levels tall and I am not ashamed in saying that I have been to the top while playing with my daughters. Normally you can find some food items like old French fries or chicken nuggets throughout the play area, but what concerned me this time when I brought my daughter to play was straight up a safety concern. We have been here during the summer months before and I have never experienced the amount of water leakage that we saw this time. Water was dripping (1 drop every 5-10 seconds) on the floor on tables in multiple spots. I slipped, of course and my younger daughter nearly fell from slipping on standing water a couple times. There was water even up in the play levels according to my daughter and another child. The grandmother of the other child had informed the crew of these "pools" and they said "okay". Not one crew member came to mop up or anything. It was not busy at all and different crew members even came through the play area from time to time. I was disappointed in the crew members lack of responsibility for a very dangerous safety issue. read more

Just left here .... service was quick at the drive thru, and the young lady taking my order was very polite , but upon getting home, which is two minutes away. I discovered that my food had been thrown together and was cold. The burgers were so cold that the cheese wasn't even melted , and the fries seemed old, like they had been sitting all day long . I went to Burger King on Jones Creek Road at Coursey Boulevard this evening August 23, 2018. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and when I got home both of the bacon cheeseburgers had raw bacon on them. Also my coke tasted weird almost like it had cinnamon in it. I did not drink it nor did I eat the burgers. I did call the main number for BK since I got a recording when I called the store location saying that the phone number was no longer in service. Then I found another number for the Jones Creek Burger King and I called it. An employee answered and I asked for the manager and he said the manager was not there. I left my name and number and my complaint and he said that it is taken down and it will get to the manager when he gets there. My main concern for calling was so no one else gets a burger with raw bacon on it and maybe they don't notice it and eat it and get sick! Also did not get a receipt! Do not go to this Burger King!! I laugh when i think about all the experiences i've had here, 'cause you know...laugh to keep from crying. please note that every time i've gone here, it's been a late-night experience...after midnight, for sure. it only seems like a good idea to go to BK after a night of drinking. Here are some of the "highlights": One time, i came home with my "chicken finger wrapped in a tortilla" (whatever those were called-BK snacker, maybe?), and bit into it to find that the chicken was COMPLETELY RAW. I was surprised by this, because I assumed that chicken fingers at BK would probably come pre-cooked. Anyway, I saved the chicken and bag and went back the next day. The manager just took the bag, looked at the food, and said "thanks". No offer of any refund or other replacement food. When I asked him about getting my $1.29 back or maybe getting a free burger or something, he said that i "should've complained last night." Another time, after sitting at the drive thru order board for 10-15 minutes with no greeting, i drove around to the window only to find two girls sitting in the drive-thru window talking. I honked my horn once, twice, three times before they turned their heads to look at me. I didn't say they acknowledged me...they just looked at me briefly and went back to their conversation. I reached out my car window and started knocking on the drive-thru window, but they just kept ignoring me, so I finally left. And yet another time, I was greeted at the drive-thru order board with the statement "we're out of food". "you're out of food?," i asked. "Yep. we only have one whopper junior left." "You can't make any more food?" "Nope." So I left. Anytime you're there late at night, they make you pull ahead after they take your payment. At any given time, there are 4 or 5 cars sitting waiting for their food. Somebody once told me that the reason for this is because there are sensors outside the window that time how long each car has waited for their food and they send that data to BK corporate. By pulling ahead, they think you've already received your food and have gone on your way. I was once trapped in one of these parking situations and watch two dudes fistfight in front of my car...i had no choice, i had nowhere to go and had already paid for my food. If you're hoping for a seamless transaction where you receive edible food without any trouble, don't go to this BK. However, if you're looking for a funny story you can tell your friends later on, then go ahead and stop on by. read more

I was gonna get me a sausage biscuit a McDonald's. Long line. So I pulled in to BK. And after the rude lady that works the window started talking I remembered why I didn't wanna eat there. I will remember next time. To be talked to as if I'm a bother and or I'm trying to pick her up for a date! One of the worst burger kings I've ever visited! From the moment we walked in to the dirty dining room I knew it wasn't good. But the grandbabies were hungry and it's about the only place in town with an indoor playground. After ordering, I went to get our drinks. It was clearly broken as all the options were grayed out. Went to counter and let cashier know and another employee said oh ya, its been broken since this morning. You'll have to get the sodas back here. Ummmm, why didn't you tell anyone and get it fixed, why wait until now? All the tables in the play area were disgusting!!! I couldn't even wipe them clean because they'd been dirty for so long. I just put down napkins and figured we'd use the tray to eat off of. The food. Oh boy. The chicken nuggets weren't even hot... we ordered 20. Every one of them was barely room temperature. I should've stopped. I knew better. They definitely had been sitting awhile. We left with not so much as a thank you from employees, and we were the only customers!! And much to our dismay, we were all sick within a few hours. Shocking. I will never come back here nor will I let my grandbabies eat here. This location needs new employees or just close!! read more

Gave me the wrong order ! Fast food workers need to pay attention to what people order. You'd definitely have less mistakes.

Although it's location may be convenient for many people, this particular Burger King has on many occasions not only served cold food, but given the incorrect order. the store is often very dirty inside and out and to employees care as much about you as they do the quality of their food. i still haven't found a good Burger King in the Baton Rouge area, but I'm sure all of them are better than this one. avoid it like the plague; go across the street to McDonald's, Taco Bell, or Arby's. read more

If we could give it negative stars we would. Employees were in parking lot yelling at each other. Bathrooms are filthy. The ac above the play place we're leaking water everywhere. Sadly it doesn't stop at the disgusting state of the "restaurant". To really give you a good view of tye employees they hire, we came through the drive thru only to be told they were CLOSED. Why were they "closed" you ask? So the manager could yell at her boyfriend through the drive thru window. Their dirty laundry was aired for all the world to hear. If you can get past the lazy irresponsible employees..picture this, you are a young lady that needs to use the restroom Like any other young lady you enter the bathroom only to find a open garbage can with no lid on sight I may add; overflowing with bloody sanitary napkins. To add insult to injury, there is even a blood covered toilet leaving me to wonder, did the previous user require an ambulance? Now for the food, assuming you get your order right in what would be a perfect world, you get to be disappointed with a cold meal thanks to the above mentioned lazy useless employees. As for taste, it's subpar and mediocre at most. They don't even have the ability to apply salt to the fries. Breakfast is good, inexpensive, tasty. They have the morning paper. There are no blaring TVs like the nearby McDonalds.

A mess. I work at night at a hospital nearby and it was three in the moring so I decided to call first to see if they were serving lunch. The woman who answered the phone was very rude. She told me they were serving breakfast and abruptly hung up the phone. When I got there to the drive thru, there was someone laughing hysterically I couldn't even hear myself. I had to repeat my order to the woman. When I got to the window, I was watching the lady making my smoothie and she poured more water in it than anything! I finally got my order and the crissant was sloppy, and greasy, so was my burrito and it was steaming hot it burned the roof of my mouth! The smoothie was watered down so much I threw it away. On Friday, November 9, 2012 at approximately 6:30pm, my wife and I, my 3 children of ages 10,9, and 4, went to Burger King (#6783) located at 5119 Jones Creek Rd. Baton Rouge La. 70817, along with a friend of ours and her 2 children of ages 9 and 6. There were several customers waiting in line when we arrived. A couple of them were expressing their irritation with the wait. The kids were antsy so our friend took them in the back to the play area while we waited for our food. We soon understood the irritation of the other customers as our order had passed the 10min mark. While in line we all noticed the degrading manner of speech to the employees used by the manager on duty, Travis. Another family walked in with a daughter. The grandfather took the little girl back to the play area and all of our kids were playing and having fun. Travis stormed from behind the counter in a rage. He stomped his way to the back and begin yelling and speaking in a degrading tone to everyone including the kids. He was telling everyone the play area was closed and no one should be back there. I told him the door should have been locked. He replied "There's a sign on the door but I thought 'You People' could read". At this point I was even more upset and enraged with this man. Not only did he yell and speak lowly to my family and I but now he had the audacity to throw a racial slur. My first reaction was to beat the skin off of him. I had already acted completely out of character in the store as he and I began arguing. He threatened to call the police on me. All of the kids were upset and crying. Travis didn't care one bit. I felt I was about 30 seconds from knocking this boy's jaw a loose so I asked for a refund. He said he'd reverse the transaction which never came! About a week later my friend had to call and inquire about the refund. He proceeded to degrade her over the phone as well. A few days later we spoke with a different manager who refunded the transaction with cash. We went to another Burger King location and placed our order. While there I asked for a higher level manager. I was referred to Darryl who is a district manager of some sort. I called and explained the scenario. He apologized for the incident and offered a meal which I declined. I told him I wanted Travis to give a written apology and read it to my family along with our friend and her kids. He said he jump right on things and get back to me on Monday. No call came to me. I called him. He told me the store manager should be getting back to me. A few days passed and Stephanie called. She told me she was looking into this and that Travis had written the letter. She also said the letter was given to the district manager and I should be hearing back from them in a couple of days. After never hearing from him I called Darryl on the following Wednesday morning to inquire about the status. I explained to him that I was extremely serious and was planning to pursue the issue as far as I can. He simply replied with an ok. At this point there has been no communication in regards to a status or resolution. The most I have received is a plethora of excuses. To add insult to injury every manager has apologized with the exception of Travis! I placed several calls and finally got the store manager Stephanie to speak with me which was to avail. She only claimed to have handled it internally and purposely ignored my questions. I feel as if these people do not care about their customers but more so their employees if they choose to allow this idiot Travis to remain with a position with this company, especially in management. read more
