Burger King ranks last for me in the fast food burger space, but if it's free, it's for me! I find food from BK to be cold more often than from other places. While the food is passable warm (I've never gotten hot food at a BK), when it's cold, I find it pretty unappealing! My two recent visits to this location have yielded warm food, prepared as ordered, and service has been acceptable. Recently remodeled as well, this is not a BK I will avoid! read more

I've lived in the Closter area for about 20 years off and on. I've never had any issues in the past so wasn't sure about the complaints about poor customer service. I now can understand why they have these poor reviews. The woman taking my drive through order was incredibly rude. I felt her resentment for having to take my order through the speaker. Complete disdain for the customer. The person who handed me the bag(different person than who took order) just stared at me with a blank look on their face. No smile, no thank you. To top it off, the chicken sandwich was completely overcooked or just sitting under a heat lamp for the whole day. I can only conclude that the franchisee doesn't care about the service the restaurant provides based on all these poor reviews. read more

It wouldn't kill them to say, hey, sorry for the wait, it will be a couple of minutes. 2. Everyone that works there looks so sad and unhappy. I never see them communicating with one another nor smile or laugh. 3. Never do they thank me for my patronage. Okay, but how about when the customer says, "thank you"? Maybe a "your welcome"? PROS: Keep in mind this is BK the food is properly prepared and always comes out right for me. The pricing is like any BK and they always keep the place clean. The service there is nice and will put in an effort to take your oder. CONS: Despite always being clean their floor is always wet from a mop and I almost slip each time. There's also this one employee who's gross and wipes his face with his hands. The hours of this place aren't as long as other BKs in the area OVERALL: This is an average BK with a great staff for the most part and the place is clean. I am so incredibly disappointed with this location. Due to being quarantined with a 2 year old, being pregnant and working from home, I ordered for a lunch delivery. The delivery came and one of the drinks were wrong.No big deal. Then we found a HAIR in one of the sandwiches. I get it, things happen. This is my hometown Burger King. It's one of the only BK's in the area, and I've been going here my entire life. I mean, it's Burger King, right? It wasn't until I got older that I realized how much of a dump this place is. It's poorly maintained and unpleasant to be in, and the quality of their food is somehow discernibly lower than other BK's I've been to. You'll often find the level of sanitation among the food workers to be incredibly low. And of course, as everyone else has said, they'll get your order wrong constantly. It's standard practice to check your bag before you leave. The worst part, however, is the staff. The same managers have been around for years, and they're just plain awful. I've witnessed yelling and in-fighting numerous times before. I'll still be driving through here for whoppers, but only because I have no choice. read more

bk, take this as an official complain. i was driving thru, and ordered black coffee and mango smoothie, the lady who answered was mumbling something, so decided after a few, to go ahead, clarify, order and pay; the lady, she looks asian, may be filipino or malaysian (nothing toward ethnicity, just to clarify who she was, i am actually korean); told me that she does not have coffee and i can't wait there (i was the only car in the line, so i asked for the smoothie, and she said for that you'll need to come inside and then shut off the window on my face (all of this with very very bad attitude) ; when something like this happens, most people including me, do not know how to react; if you had a bad day at home, leave there; or look for another job where you do not have to deal with customers. bk, you'll need to do something about it, no wonder why this bk is always empty. i love your products, your coffee, but you'll never ever see me again read more
