I agree with the review by Vincent S.! Thanks to free Whoppers via T-Mobile Tuesdays I've been to this location twice in the last 2 weeks, and my experience has been okay. Burger King ranks last for me in the fast food burger space, but if it's free, it's for me! I find food from BK to be cold more often than from other places. While the food is passable warm (I've never gotten hot food at a BK), when it's cold, I find it pretty unappealing! My two recent visits to this location have yielded warm food, prepared as ordered, and service has been acceptable. Recently remodeled as well, this is not a BK I will avoid!

We had kids meal, chicken nuggets and double fish filet. The staff brought the food to us at the play area with a basket of sauce to let us choose. The fish filet came out 1 patty only. I went to the front and they quickly fire another one (double) for me. Quality is the same as other locations. Very consistent. Parking lot and drive through available.

This place used to be fine. You'd at least get what you ordered…read more The last two times we ordered special meals, we got jacked. We did not receive out world cup cup, so they robbed me of the extra money we paid (complaining leads to dead ends cus they don't care), and we didn't get a Hello Killy Godzilla toy and something else instead. Plus we ordered 4 meals + 1 Happy meal and got exactly 1 napkin. We asked for extra ketchup for those 5 meals and ended up with 6 total packets. Service is clearly no longer a priority here. Complaining leads nowhere, they just get snippy and act like we're in the wrong. Do not use the drive thru. If you do, check your bags for EVERYTHING, including nugget sauces. Hold up traffic if you must, better than getting screwed. FWIW, I have zero complaints about the Wendy's in Tappan. That said, BK in Closter is worse, so congrats, you're slightly better than them.

I visited the Closter Plaza location today (May 6th, 6:30 PM) with my children, and it was the…read moresingle worst dining experience of my life. This place is consistently filthy--as my photos show, the floors and tables were covered in trash, and the food preparation area was a nauseating mess. It is a severe health hazard, yet the staff's behavior was even more revolting. The environment was chaotic. The music was so deafeningly loud that my children couldn't even place their orders properly. Furthermore, there was a severe communication barrier at the counter. When we found out they were out of soft tortillas, my kids were hesitant because the hard shells are far too salty for them. While I was calmly asking about substitutes, a cashier who wasn't even involved in our conversation suddenly barked at us, "Hard shells only, THAT'S IT!" It was incredibly offensive to be shouted at for simply seeking an option for my children. When it came time to pay, the incompetence was staggering. The cashier failed to process the payment correctly, rudely rushed me, and even forgot to provide a receipt. When I asked for his name due to his extreme rudeness, he literally laughed in my face and claimed he was "not allowed" to give it. Not a single employee wore a name tag, smugly citing a supposed "Chipotle policy." The beverage station was a total disaster. As my photos show, the Agua Fresca dispensers were empty, and the area was littered with trash. It is fundamentally dishonest to sell drink cups when there is no intention of refilling the machines. When I requested a refill, that same employee deliberately mocked me, repeatedly asking "What drink? Which one?" despite the empty dispensers being right in front of him. My children were forced to eat salty food with empty cups while the staff ignored our needs and joked among themselves. This appears to be a chronic issue, as I saw many other customers sitting with empty cups they had just paid for. The manager was the absolute worst. He kept his back turned to me and only addressed me after I repeatedly demanded his attention. He offered no apology and dismissively claimed the employee was just "doing his job." He is dead wrong. An employee's job is to provide professional service, not just bark facts. A professional would have said, "I'm sorry, we're out of soft tortillas, but you can purchase a regular one as a substitute." Instead, he gave us a "take it or leave it" attitude. The manager's inability to distinguish between "conveying information" and "being hostile" proves that the leadership here has failed. He tried to excuse the behavior by saying everyone has a "bad day." Let me be clear: My family was having a wonderful day until we stepped into this restaurant. Your staff's hostility ruined it. No one visits a restaurant hoping to be treated like a nuisance in a filthy environment, but if that is what you are looking for, this is the perfect place. I frequently visit the Englewood location, and the contrast is staggering. That branch is always clean, professional, and kind. Ultimately, the quality of a store depends on the manager's competence. Reading other reviews, it's clear this store has been hostile for years. This place has no intention of changing, and frankly, I don't think it's even capable of it.

I stopped into this fairly new, tiny, cute little restaurant…read more There is street parking and public parking lot only 1\2 block away. There are only a few seats lined up against the wall (bar style) and one table of 4. There is a piano too, and they have a sign saying they teach piano. As small as it is the menu is even smaller with maybe 10 food items. But they sell authentic Hawaiian coffees and special grains of Asian rice. Many choices of smoothies & juices as well. Them mango smoothie was a nice size and delicious! I ordered my food to go and had a very short ride so the good was still hot. We tried the Hawaiian Garlic shrimp. Small size was plenty as it had 7 shrimp over sticky rice with some mixed vegetables in a cheesy buttery sauce. It had nice flavor. Also tried was the Hawaiian Ahi Bowl ( poke) which had plenty of fresh tuna with same veggies. Again a small size was plenty. Lastly I tried the Musubi which is a slice of Spam on top of a bar of cooked sticky rice with seaweed paper around it to get it together. Hawaii has been the # consumer of Spam for many years so I had to give it a try. The salty, smokey flavor of the "meat" along with he sticky rice was a good combo, but the seaweed wrap just gave it a slight fishy taste I could do without. I would say to try U'I for a change up for when you are in the mood for Asian food.

Flavors were decent but a bit too overpriced in my opinion. Not enough shrimp and their side of veggies could be switched out to maybe fries or fried spam as this area has a lot of kids/teens.
