My wife, her mom, and I had lunch here (having to wait till the lunch menu opened at 11:00). Ordered through the app, continuing to use the credit that was attained by loading in Burger King gift cards. The trio ($8) choices were an original chicken sandwich, whopper jr, and a plain bacon cheeseburger). Enhanced it with the duo ($6) choices including a medium soda (self-serve Coke free style machine, so able to get free refills easily) and a medium fry. Avoid this Burger King at all costs. Despite being the only person in the drive-thru, I was forced to pull around to the front--clearly a tactic to manipulate their service timers. The staff was incredibly rude; when I questioned why I had to move, the employee actually yelled at me. After waiting over 10 minutes, my food arrived cold and messy. To top it off, I couldn't even complete the customer survey, likely because the staff is gaming those numbers, too. I hadn't eaten at a Burger King in many years, but after a decent meal in the Las Vegas area, I thought I'd give this one a try. At the kiosk I ordered a fish sandwich medium combo with unsweetened tea. The order comes up a few minutes later and I look for the ketchup dispenser. There isn't one so I have to catch someone's attention to get the 9 gram packets. 9 g of ketchup doesn't go very far. Oops. No tea and no cup for it. Again I have to catch someone's attention to get a cup. I look at the multi drink dispenser and I don't see any tea on it at all. Again I have to catch somebody's attention and ask if there is tea. Oh no the machine is out of tea. And out of ice too. So the young lady takes my cup to the drive-through area and gives me some ice and tells me she has no tea there either. In the meantime my food is getting cold. She's very polite and offers me every other drink on the menu, but I don't drink sugary drinks so all of them are a big no for me. I get a glass of water. Now for the food. The fries are great. I have to eat them before they cool off anymore though. The burger, not quite as good as the one I had in Las Vegas. The lettuce is pretty mushy, the tomatoes are more green than red. The fish itself was crispy on the outside but mushy in the middle. Mushier than I would've expected. The restaurant itself is clean. But one restroom is out of order and the other one is pretty messy. There are often homeless people hanging around outside. Or panhandling. Can't really avoid that these days. So all in all I probably won't come back here. The people are nice enough when you can get their attention. They're busy. Horrible experience food was so cold, customer service was the worse, tables and restrooms were filthy will never eat there again. The only reason this is a two star review is because we had decent service in the evening on June 18th. Don't even try to go here in the morning. Abysmal service. we tried to go through the drive through at 7am on June 20th. Their hours on the door say their drive through opens at 6. When we drove in we saw two employees in the front lot who definitely should've seen us and the car in front of us go back to the drive through. we figured there would be someone inside to help with the drive through since they were supposed to be open for an hour. No one was answering the drive through intercom and it looked like there was no one inside. It was completely dark in the store. We gave up after five minutes. When we drove away the same two employees (wearing BK uniforms) were on their phones, laughing and seemingly having a great time ignoring customers. read more

This Burger King in crescent city ca is terrible. The kitchen is always messy, people have received molded hamburger patties and today my pregnant ass walked all the way there for a craving just to get an uncooked patty, it was pink and raw. I've also experienced many times them being out of all kinds of ingredients like French fries, pickles, burgers, lettuce. I just don't understand how they run out so much and have the longest waiting drive thru lines possible. I keep going back but after the raw burger, never again. read more

Fast food? Not even slow food, almost to the point of getting no food. 20 minutes in drive thru and no one in front of us. Ridiculous!

This was by far the worst Burger King experience we have ever had. We were traveling thru and decided on BK- we park and go inside to find: the front door scrapes the floor when it opens and was literally stuck open so we just squeezed thru. Next both men and women bathrooms were out of order and blocked off by cones. They had no onion rings, ranch, bbq and no more than 5 available flavors of soda - they were out of Dr Pepper, regular Coke, Fanta and more. That's not even the kicker- we decided to just stay since we were already there and just wanted to get on the road.... We sat at a table and there was literally bugs in the window seal next to the tables, spider webs above us and big black ants that we swear fell from the ceiling on the table - we moved to a table on other side of restaurant and more ants. We grabbed our food and told the guy at the counter about the bugs and he just said I'm sorry bout that. We walked out grossed out and basically threw $42 in the trash and just got back on the road. read more

Computer systems down, not an issue. The issue was the two incompetent girls working. Ordered 4 tacos, had to repeat order multiple times at speaker. Got to the window and again had to repeat order multiple times. They complained the whole time about having to write down the orders and "do math". We and the car in front of us drove off without getting our food because it was obvious they didn't want people to place orders. Ended up going to McDonald's instead. read more

I didn't really get anything here, all we got was a milkshake and an iced tea for my sweet tea pie. But, I have to give a high review because the milkshake was surprisingly good, and my wife loved her iced tea. By itself, that may not have warranted a high score, but when you factor in the fact that the cashier was super friendly and welcoming, it becomes clear that this place deserves a good rating. Now, I haven't read the other reviews yet, I recommend that you do, because like I said, I didnt order much, so if other people have negative things to say that counter my words, I would take them into account. DO NOT EAT HERE. 11 cars backed up in the drive thru at 1040 a.m. - partially due to the fact that the worker at the drive-thru doesn't even acknowledge each vehicle as it pulls up. You wait. BK is our favorite fast food place and this is the closest one to brookings, so on an errand-trip to crescent city, thought we'd try out BK. the service was alright. the restaurant was tidy and restroom was clean. hubby and i have different reviews on what we ate. his whopper with cheese was good, and looked good. fries were good even though they were just a wee bit salty. he would give it a solid 4 stars. my original chicken sandwich was way overdone and very dark in color. what i reallly didn't like was how oily/greasy it was. i would give it no more than 2 stars. so we compromised on 3 stars. read more

It's been a while since I've been to a Burger King and the food was actually better than I remember. Too bad this is one of the worst fast food restaurants I've been to, period. I walked up to the counter and the only person behind it was someone working the drive through. We made eye contact about three times and she never said anything. About a minute or so goes by and someone else comes from the table section and says she'll be right with me. A few second later she walks around the counter and takes my order. She then goes back to the kitchen area. It takes a good five minutes or so for my food to show up and I only ordered a drink, fries, and some of their value menu chicken nuggets. My wife came in after me and had a similar slow experience with them taking her order and the food showing up. Fortunately for them there didn't seem to be many other choices in the area and a Wendy's listed on Yelp was nowhere to be found. read more

Chain food was as expected. Same burger and fries I can get back home, nothing special. Now I usually don't base most of my review on the staff but in this case I need to brag a little. Nothing stood out until I came across one young Asian man. I did not catch his name but he struck me as someone who might step up beyond the fast food crowd. It went down like this. Our order was totally screwed up by the first person who took our order, we will call him Jose, no surprise he seemed new. We finished our meal and we were getting ready to leave and I wanted to refill my drink, iced tea. Well the BK has fresh brewed tea but the staff has to fill your drink. I topped off my ice and asked the young man if I could get a refill, he mumbled something and walked away. Kinda pissed me off until he walked back a minute later drying his hands, he said sorry I had to wash my hands first. He took my cup, not gripping the top but by the holding the base in the correct manner and refilled it, 1/4 sweet and 3/4 unsweetened. Now you may think no big deal right but most employees would have taken my glass and filled it then washed their hands. Being around the food industry I see many things that could cause issues and just seeing this young man take the time to do things right made me smile inside. read more
