Upon entering we were greeted warmly, seated promptly, and presented with bowls of miso soup. The broth is killer - hands down the most flavorful I've had the pleasure to enjoy. Our server was very pleasant, ensuring we had everything we needed and our water glasses were full. We tried: avocado roll, AAC roll, tofu yakisoba, tofu Singapore noodles, tofu fried rice, and vegetable pho. Of note - I'm 98% certain the broth in the vegetable pho is the miso soup both, which is NOT a problem because it's delicious, however it may come as a surprise for someone expecting traditional vegetable pho broth. I didn't try the meat-based pho broth so I can't speak to that. Everything was was glorious - wonderful flavors, textures, and temperature, and although my pho was a surprise, it was delicious and definitely met my criteria for soup on a chilly day.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.

They didn't tell us what was on it but I think it was albacore, salmon, salmon roe, mackerel, yellowtail, and tuna. He said it was some of the best tasting fish/nigiri he's had in a while.
