I usually don't like to buy fast food because it's not good for my body, but considering the circumstances I needed a quick bite I specified a burger without mayonnaise. This was designated on the package as well. When I opened the sandwich to check, my no mayonnaise is request was slathered all over my burger. This is not the first time that this is happened and the staff don't take the time to acknowledge what is being ordered. Placed a mobile order and there were only two cars ahead of us in line. This BK was not attentive to detail. We ordered breakfast and asked for sodas instead of coffee because our son can't drink coffee. Without asking us what kind of soda we wanted, they just filled it with coke. We then asked for one Coke and one Diet Coke. They gave us two diet cokes!!!! Have never been treated so rudely in my life, my large fry order was clearly no where near filled and I asked nicely if they could please fill the container. The extremely rude manager who seems like has had issues with others in the past according to these reviews, refused to fill my fries lectured me on they are a set measurement and she could not give me any more. Upon being so upset at this point I actually took the fries home and measures them, according to Burger King a large fry should be 6.3oz mine after the weight of the container was deducted the fries were just slightly over 5oz so yes I indeed did not have a full fry as the manager wanted to argue with me over instead of embracing customer service. Service is bad these days and I get it.. I've worked in fast food and it's difficult in the best of times. Today we have fewer workers, missing items on menu, low morale... The wait in line was long, I paid and was asked to wait in the lot for food (nuggets and fries). OK. Waited 10-15 min in lot. Nothing. I have to get home so I go in to retrieve my food. The restaurant is filthy and there are 4 workers (no one in drive thru or in line at this point). One is on her phone, one seemingly cooking, one waiting for food, and one guy wiping random places with a dirty blue cloth. 10 more minutes. 3 customers (2 black males and me, a white female) waiting for food. I don't say a word as the food clearly isn't done. So I wait, looking at my phone to pass the time. I overhear one of the young black women (who had taken my order) say to the cook, "where the chicken nuggets so I can get this Karen out of here?" Then, laughter among the BK employees. The other customers gave me dirty looks. I was mortified. All I did was order food and wait quietly. Obviously, I'll never go to that restaurant again and told my kids (in the car) to enjoy the last meal I ever buy from BK. Oh, the nuggets and fries were undercooked. Didn't even eat them. We made a quick stop for a bite to eat during our road trip. It is right off a major expressway. Its felt does if we walked into an icebox. It was freezing! There was a bit of a line however it moved very quickly and we got our food very fast. The staff is very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The tables were clean the bathrooms were clean and the restaurant was so nicely decorated with spring decor. The thing I found most interesting with the soda machine it is all digital touch screen and you are able to pick your flavors they had a ton of variety of flavors to choose from and combine. I don't typically eat fast food. That being said, I was hungry and decided to stop in for a whopper jr at 3p on a Sunday, during my errands. There were maybe 5 people in the restaurant, staff was attentive BUT! The restaurant was dirty, I can honestly even say filthy! The soda machine had spills around the counter, the tables had crumbs and the floor had miscellaneous straw wrappers/papers strewn about. The handprints upon the glass at the doors were plentiful. Why was the staff just hanging around? Clearly, it wasn't busy and they had plenty of time to sweep the floor, wipe down tables and counters! AVOID THIS BURGER KING!!! SERVICE IS THE WORST!!! I should have looked at these reviews before i went there. I stopped in this morning about 8 am (drive thru). MARIA the general manager was taking orders (found this out at the later). I scanned the menu for breakfast sandwichs. I asked if there were any WITHOUT pork? The response was "we have bacon, we have sausage and we have ham". I said no, do you have any without pork? Her response again was the same. I said miss im asking if you have sandwichs without pork, basically some other kind of meat. Her response was "I already told you what we have, what dont you understand". I said, i asked you a yes or no question and you havent given me a yes or no response....you keep telling me about pork products. Long story short, this went on for several minutes and as it continued she got louder then told me she wasnt taking my order after i asked to speak to a manager. She informed me that she was the manager. I asked what her name and her first response was "why?". I pulled around to the window, she opened and started yelling "what dont you understand, i told you what we have and now im not taking your order". I pulled around to the front of the store to see if there was a number to corporate or or a franchisee on the door, nothing. So i went inside and asked as politely as possible for the number to corporate. Her first response was, "look it up online". After asking two more times she says, "i got a number for you". She goes to the back of the store and comes back with her cellphone and dials someone and starts telling them about whats going and lets them know that i said i was calling corporate. I assumed this was her boss and i asked to speak to them. As i was asking she says to them, "Can you here him, he's in the store arguing with me now".....lmao. I said " im asking to speak to your boss hopefully they can hear me because there's clearly no argument happening. She then told them if i didnt leave she was calling the cops. I said good, lets get your boss and the cops so they can review the video and audio......she went quiet. She must have forgot she was being recorded. I did look up the number to corporate and filed a complaint, but im also going to go back on a different day to see if i can make contact with her boss directly. My son asked me to bring him to this location after his doctor appointment so he could grab something real quick. Otherwise I would never ever go to this location. It is by far the most rundown fast food restaurant I've seen in awhile... who runs this???? There is literally Saran Wrap or plastic wrap of some sort holding one of the menus together, I'm not even close to joking. There are an abundance of potholes in the drive through and birds nest in the lighting near the drive through window and it just looks completely filthy and unkempt. The staff there seem miserable and are so loud. We got the food and my son wanted ketchup so I waited for the attendant to come back to the window but she acted like she didn't see us and her and her co-workers were having a very loud and in-depth conversation in Spanish. I was going to beep my horn but didn't want to be over the top rude. So I said "perdón" (excuse me in Spanish) and no answer.... did I say it wrong? Lol, we ended up leaving without ketchup. I am never one to complain unless it is truly justified. On a Sunday afternoon 5/8, I ordered through the BK app two fish sandwiches and a frozen coke. Three minutes later I arrived and pulled up at the drive-thru and gave them my order number 41. I was told "sorry hunny, not here". I was confused. I then said again, my order number 41. Was told again, "sorry hunny, not here." I confirmed the address thinking maybe I went to the wrong BK. The address was correct. I once again said my order number 41. Was told "sorry hunny, not here." I pulled around in confusion to the window to clear this matter. I was told that my order was cancelled. I asked why? I was told again, "sorry hunny, not here". I confirmed the address and showed the girl at the window my order #41 confirmation. She told me it was cancelled. I asked why to be told, it was cancelled and not here. I was getting very upset and very confused. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that I was speaking with the manager. I asked if I could get my food and was told no. I asked why? Was told again, the order was cancelled. I asked why and was told "sorry hunny, not here. So you can totally see this is just going around in circles. I asked if I could just order my food directly at the pickup window and was told yes. I started telling the girl my order, which was 2 fish sandwiches and a frozen coke. To then be told that the frozen coke machine was broken and that is why the order was cancelled. I said, just forget it and I will address this with either the General Manager (the real manager or Corporate). Upon saying that the girl didn't give me an obscene gesture, but gestured with her hand the attitude of "whatever" as I drove away in anger, confusion and disappointment. I am not knocking anyone who's first language is not english, but the stupidity of me not being told why other than repeating the same few words over and over and then be told she was the manager just made me feel like I need to delete my BK app and never go to BK again. By the time I got home, I was boiling mad and only if she would've told me the reason right at first, I would've asked for an alternative drink or something and would've been fine with it. The manager training at this location is totally subpar and possibly non-existent. So I will NEVER return to this location again. There are plenty of McDonald's and Taco Bells I would rather go to. I did file a complain online with Burger King and got my full refund. However, I tried calling the Cromwell store on Monday 5/9 in the morning at 11:30am and the phone rang at least (no exageration) 20 times and no one picked up. I wanted to speak with the GM about my poor experience. I then looked up and called BK corporate and the phone rang at least 20 times and no answer either. So this goes to show that BK is not concerned with quality experencess by their customers. Not even to answer the phone during normal business hours at the store location or corporate. I had an issue once at McDonalds where their ice cream machine was broke and they immediately offered to provide me something else on the menu of equal value.
