We were met by a surly employee at the register, so we started off on that foot and it didn't get better from there. We ordered the $5 meal of the whopper Jr, fries, and drink. It also comes with some chicken nuggets that you can't swap out for anything else. We forget to ask for no salt on the fries, so we could actually taste the potatoes, instead they were salty as can be. They might have actually been good otherwise, but were borderline overfried. The whopper Jr is now about the size of a slider and the chicken nuggets were fried into oblivion with little to no flavor. The only redeeming thing for me was the unlimited grape Fanta zero from the soda machine. Still not enough to take this experience above two stars. Wish I had better to report, but unfortunately not.

This is Burger King store #9653 located near the intersection of NC highways 54 and 751, next door to BP, in Southwest Durham. You can enter this Burger King from either 54 or Hope Valley Road (where it's addressed). Our visit to this Burger King was disappointing compared to our last visit to a Burger King which was the 1122 Northside Drive NW location in Atlanta: https://www.yelp.com/biz/burger-king-atlanta-3. The nice and polite lady at the drive-thru here unfortunately messed up a couple things: (1) I ordered a Steakhouse King meal and she rang me up for just the sandwich. Luckily, my wife caught this on the order confirmation screen before we drove to the payment/pickup window and we corrected the cashier. Not a big deal. (2) We got two combo meals and, while we were given our drinks, we never got straws. It wasn't until we got home and started unpacking our meals that we realized she'd forgotten to give us straws. My wife saw a container of straws at the window, but I guess the cashier forgot. Again, not a big deal. I will say the cashier was multitasking (as most drive-thru employees do) and these appeared to be honest mistakes. I ordered the Steakhouse King because it looked awesome in the picture on the drive-thru menu. I'd never heard of it until we pulled up and I saw it featured prominently on the menu. It comes in single or double patty (same flame-grilled beef patty as the Whopper) with American cheese, bacon, crispy onion, steak sauce (A.1. or similar), and mayo. The burger I received looked nothing like the picture. While not terrible, overall, the burger was just "meh," sad, and not what either of us expected. Some bites on the outer edges of the burger were only bread and meat. The inner bites, where the cheese, steak sauce, and mayo were were the best parts. The Whopper fared better and tasted more like what we're used to from BK. We got ours with cheese. The Whopper doesn't come with cheese by default so you'll have to ask for it. I think the Whopper is a decent classic American fast food burger. When it comes to nationwide fast food chain burgers, I like McDonald's Big Mac the best as well as Five Guys. That said, the Whopper is tasty and I particularly like the fresh lettuce and tomato as well as the mayo. The fries we got at this location weren't as crispy nor as seasoned (salted) as the fries we got at our last two visits to a BK (separate locations in Atlanta). I'm not sure if it's just the batch we got here or what, but the fries were relatively limp and bland. Therefore, not all BKs are created equal. The pricing for our meal broke down as follows: * Whopper meal, small - $6.79 * Add cheese - $0.60 * Steakhouse King meal, small - $8.49 * Tax - $1.19 * Total - $17.07 At the time of our visit, the parking lot was like a warzone - old and torn up, literally, with many potholes and several sections coned off. I think (hope) the lot was being repaired or redone. Hopefully, it's all fixed up by the time you read this. Aside from the two hiccups above, service was fine. Our order was ready in a reasonable amount of time and I liked our cashier's demeanor. I'm giving this Burger King two stars instead of one because the food wasn't horrible and we'd be willing to give this location another chance.

Not happy, lobby is closed. They are short staffed, yet employees are just sitting on the ground out front. Not everybody wants their car smelling like greasy food.

I ordered off the app, as I received some coupons that required the app to be downloaded. I was really interested in trying their new 'impossible' burger, as it is the newest 'craze' out on the market. Once ordered, I showed the cashier the phone for the code and she struggled to understand how to use it, and had to call over a manager to help her walk through the process. once received the impossible burger, the meal looked good. Upon unwrapping the burger, it looked like a regular burger that looked more appetizing than their standard 'burnt' burgers, however the burger didn't taste that great. Knowing that they dont' make them in house, I think it was partially undercooked as it was very mushy. I'm not sure if that is the typical taste of it, but was not very desirable to eat or enjoy. I also picked up some french fries and onion rings. Those came out steaming hot, as they just came out of the fryer, however they do put a little too much salt on the fries when seasoning them. Overall, the BK was a lot better than most of the others I have seen. It is very clean inside. Floors were not sticky when walking, garbages were not overflowing, and tables were all clean (nothing laying around them)..so kudos to them for maintaining the facilities.

Only been to this Burger King location once and it was rather good. The employee in the drive thru was really nice. I ordered lunch items during the breakfast hours yet they still brought me the food pretty quickly.

The workers are in a bad mood. They are not paying attention to what you order. They take a long time to give you your order

The menu is a bit overwhelming. They have a lot of options, and the combos are not numbered. You choose a tray, a main, two sides, and a drink. I opted for a double burger with everything on it, with jalapeno cheese fries and white cheddar cheese bites for sides. I upgraded the drink to a chocolate shake. They were pretty quick. I got my food from the drive thru very quickly. The burger was surprisingly good. The bag advertised the food as "cooked outdoors style" and that burger tasted like a burger bought at the grocery store, cooked over a flaming grill. The fries were a bit soft, but they were well salted, and covered in standard cheese sauce and fresh jalapeno. White cheddar cheese bites were tasty, but they didnt stretch like a mozzarella stick. The chocolate shake i ordered was super thick, creamy, and delicious. It's a simple burger, simple fries, simple shake, and it's cheap. And sometimes, simple and cheap is all you need. Definitely worth a visit.

I got a regular burger with mayo, ketchups and pickles, fries and a pache cobbler shake, while my husband got the big double tray with fries and the Orange Squeeze shake. I DID NOT like the shakes. It was like trying to drink a pint of ice cream and was way too thick. It should have been serve in a bowl instead of a cup! The fries and the burger were very basic, but just like a burger you would eat at a cookout. The staff seemed bored with their jobs, but when you approached the counter to order, they were very friendly and helpful. The .enu was very diverse and had a ton of options. If I have my kids with me on the next trip, I would bring them to try Cook Out, but probably not order the shakes.

It took a few months, but I finally stopped by on my way home from the Raleigh airport and was reunited with the chain. It was late, so we just ordered at the window and ate in the car. I ordered the 8 Layer Veggie Burrito (without sour cream). It's still just as good as I remembered it when I lived in Arizona. There was only one person ahead of us in the drive-thru, so it took maybe about 3 minutes for us to get our food once we ordered. I would consider Del Taco to be a healthier Taco Bell. It's not something I will drive 45 minutes out of my way for, but if it's in a convenient location, I'm all about it.

This is the typical fast- food taco restaurant. It offers many food items and combo options and drinks, which is what I look for in a taco place like this. I went for a hard-shell beef taco and a cheeseburger (I was curious about trying one from a taco restaurant). The taco was good out the hamburger was OK. I mean, not the best I have had, but I would come back for more tacos.  Staff was helpful and friendly. There is plenty of free parking. Again, I would come back for more tacos, and only tacos.

She then sent out a African American waitress to let us know the card declined which I felt was wrong and uncomfortable. I found out that it was because the separate meals at the table we were paying for , she charged the cards wrong then tried to complain how complicated it would be to reverse but we insisted.
