I haven't been to this BK for a while but got coupons in the mail. I used the coupon that included 3 Whoppers, 3 Chicken Sanwiches & 3 fries for less than $22! What a deal when feeding 5 people. Both times I did this meal was around 9p. I went in the drive up. Pulled up to pay and waited maybe 10 minutes for my order. Both times a friendly employee (maybe the night Mgr) warmed me that the fries was extremely hot and to not dig into them right away while driving off. I appreciated the warning and he was right. I got home and everyone got their food. Omg! I could tell they took the time to make my Whopper perfect. The food was perfect both times I went! I will definitely go back! I went to Burger King in Gardnerville this afternoon. I've been there many times and while it has never been a paragon of good customer service or cleanliness, today was the worst example I've had there. When I got there, there were seven elderly people and couples already in the restaurant. I stood at the counter to place my order, I had to wait and listen to one worker discussing his tattoos with fellow employees. He discussed at length, how he chose the particular tattoos, how long they took to complete and the total price (990.00 btw). Once he acknowledged me, I ordered a Whopper with cheese. He didn't give me an order number so I just stood to the side to wait for my order. As I filled my drink, I noticed a complete mess at the drink station...liquid all over the counter and floor, the lids were thrown around and there was trash near the soda machine. As I waited and elderly woman asked if they had anymore ketchup as the bin on the counter was empty. Tattoo told her that the ketchup was in the bin on the counter and walked away. When he resurfaced, the woman told him that she asked for more ketchup because the bin was empty. Tattoo made a loud sigh, went into the back and a couple of minutes later came back with more ketchup. He acted like it was a chore for him to do it. My order arrived and he called "my number" even through he had not given me one. He called it several times and I asked if it was my order since I didn't have a number. He replied "it's a Whopper, that's what you order." I took my food to the table and opened my burger...it was very cold and had no cheese. Rather than interrupting Tattoo, I just began eating it. As I was eating Tattoo was talking to someone in the back and every other word was f*ch and sh!t. He was talking loud enough that the other patrons were looking at each other. This continued until a teenaged girl came in and inquired about a job. Tattoo told her that there was no one to interview view here now and she would have come back later and then told her "you don't want to work here anyway." Needless to say this was not my best Burger King experience. The management really needs to take a look at this restaurant as well as some of the employees. read more

Burger King over the years has just gone downhill. This location will be the last Burger King that I will ever visit. Drive thru service was awful, guy couldn't and/or didn't want to hear us. Got the whole order wrong. Food was sloppy! The whopper had no flavor except for the abundance of ketchup. Just go away Burger King. You used to be the favorite, now you are far from it. read more

I waited in the lobby and was ignored for about 5 mins. Employees were behind the counter. No "welcome we'll be right with you" or any of the typical successful restaurant behaviors. I got tired of waiting and drove to Carson City where I got two "double-double" meals with chocolate shakes, grilled onions, and fries for $23. The burgers alone at BK were $10. It was worth the 20 min drive. I'll never attempt the Gardnerville BK again. read more

Customer service and listening skills. I've been to this location multiple times, considering that I live in town. Each time I have asked for a large combo and don't receive it. I have asked for Multiple orders of individual fries and yet to have it in my order. This place is starting to become like McDonald's and their ice cream machine never working or "we don't make shakes this late" such a disappointment with "new management." A group of 5 of us went in on our lunch hour we all ordered at the same time. 20 minutes later four of us got our food. The four of us were done eating and the fifth one still hadn't got his food (we're at 35 minutes now) my friend went up and complained and they said oh will have your mozzarella sticks right out in two minutes two minutes past still no mozzarella sticks. After several of us complained, we were asked to leave the store. After the last of us complained, they gave him a bag of food and the money back we got in the car, started driving open the bag and not one thing in the bag was what he ordered. The food is always terrible, the fries are terrible and brown (really old oil). The burger was supposed to have no mayo as my fiancé is allergic to eggs and it had mayo. We also ordered onion rings and got fries instead. They are never open inside so if you have an issue you have to go back through the drive thru line to wait a million years to tell them it's wrong (while your entire meal gets cold). I don't know why we go back and give them chances! One of the times we went the meal was wrong (I asked for chicken and they gave me a burger) and I told the girl it was wrong and she yelled at us threw it down in the back and yelled to someone that we wanted something else. Update. Still no improvement with this location. Came in drive through for an online order and this location almost forgot an item. Be aware to always check your bag and order when visiting this location. All of the other employees had asked if they could take my order being the last person in line, and they were instructed not to take my order due to some manager. If you do drive thru it will take you at least 15 min regardless of what time you go. I honestly don't understand how this location stays in business but I'm pretty sure since they are one of the few fast food restaurants available in the area that's the only thing they have going for them the service is so incredibly slow that I have witnessed people behind me darn near losing their minds in frustration. If I didn't have pregnancy cravings for their Coca-Cola Ice-es I don't think I would have ever come back. I go to this Burger King fairly often, because it's on my way of travel. I always order 2 "Whoppers, HEAVY ALL, add Jalapeño". I get charged an extra $0.35 per sandwich, but that's not a problem at all, IF I'm getting what I pay for. This particular time, my chick and her girlfriend went to town and stopped to get food. Her girlfriend also got food for her kids so they ordered quite a bit. Checking the bag before leaving the drive-thru window, they noticed that there were one chicken sandwich short. she got the drive-thru attendants attention and told them that they were short. He then began to argue with her telling her that it was in the bag. Which they had both checked twice. He finally went to the cook, and the cook even said "No, I know I made it. It's in the bag!" So once again the attendant continues to argue with my chick and her girlfriend. Pissed off and frustrated, she goes to pass the bags back through the window for them to check for themselves, in which they finally admitted they were a chicken sandwich short. The cook then says "Where the f#$* is it? I know I made it!!!" Then discovered it in the sandwich dispensing tray underneath the heat lamp, where they did in fact forget to put it in the bag. The entire exchange took about 2 minutes from what I understand. It's not just the fact that they were being argumentative and not checking, but it's the fact that they were completely unprofessional, and more than obvious they hate their jobs. Do you want to get to my Whoppers? Let's ride.... Now granted at times they are super busy so I get it. I don't typically get what I pay for, but I'm fine with it. But for as much money as I spend there and as often as I go, always knowing it's a crap shoot on the quality of my food, I'm still pretty docile and easygoing and never complain. If it wasn't for their verbal confrontation and accusational demeanor towards my party, I wouldn't even be writing this review. But I've had about enough. As I digress, let's get back to the subject at hand, my whopper. It was pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp, trust me I know. Instead of freshly making what I ordered and paid for, it was simply unwrapped, had some jalapenos thrown on it, and then simply rewrapped, completely ignoring the request for "heavy all", which I paid for, then marked with X's of everything that was supposed to be heavy disbanded back underneath the heat lamp where it sat until it was placed and with the rest of our order, minus the missing sandwich. That's pretty easy to tell a sandwich that has been wrapped once, then rewrapped, because the paper is wrinkled and not as crisp, and I actually think that's probably part of the the design of the wrapper itself. I know for a fact that's what happened and you can tell from the pictures. Despite being on my road of travel, I simply will not go back to this Burger King anymore. For all the extra charges I have accrued, and only really getting what I ordered once or twice out of probably three dozen times, is enough for anyone. But I found another BK, that has been batting 1000 since day one, for the staff are older and mature and will not argue with the customers, especially when they're in the wrong. I was appalled how dirty this restaurant was today. Instead of employees cleaning, they were all chatting away. When we were leaving, the front counter employee was sitting at a table on his cell phone. The drink station was disgusting. Even the manager on duty was more worried about chatting it up. Why do restaurants do this. Say they close at 10:00pm. They take orders until 9:59 pm. To the normal and realistic human this means at 10pm they lock the doors and clean up the building and equipment. This is the correct way to run a business. Well this BK doesn't do that. They actually close at 9:30pm, the door says 10pm I was hungry and wanted a chocolate milkshake. While there I will get a sandwich and chicken nuggets. They turned off the. $#-$-$&@/ milkshake machine early. why? You don't close until 10pm. Are you trying to get a head start on leaving? I want a milkshake until 9:59 pm. Service is sooo bad?! I was called an asshole from a person who wasn't in work clothes followed by an male employee smoking a vape in the kitchen. I was told I'm trespassing on the premises when I went through the drive through and placed my order in front of my kids and treated with such disrespect . The supposed supervisor who was the one smoking the vape in the kitchen told me to leave without giving me a refund or receipt for my order. He then gave me the number to an ex employee who was once employed there and gave me more information than the current employees there. I will never give my business to this company again. read more
