When I arrived, there were multiple cars sitting in the drive-thru waiting because they had also placed and paid for orders through the app. If the location is closed, the app should not be accepting orders. Charging customers for food that cannot be picked up is a failure in your system, not a customer mistake. read more

Decided to have Del Yaco. Placed our order with no issues. But when looking for a table to eat at not o e table was clean. We picked the cleanest looking and wiped it down and waited for our food. There were two other tables occupied. One was an older couple eating. The other was the Store Manager eating and watching something on their phone. We both actually worked at a Del Taco many years ago. I was shocked. In our day the manager would have cleaned the tables before sitting down for a break. Shows her lack of care and job dedication. They were super busy so they locked the doors early and yelled at all of us in the dining the staff was rude and had an attitude.

Terrible customer service, staff were the slowest moving group of people i've ever seen. there were customers wrapped around the building through the drive through and the lobby was full. watched an employee scratch his beard with GLOVED HANDS while making someone's food, to top it off they're were flies fucking everywhere. Employee stopped working to come to the lobby to complain about how busy they were, asking "why aren't all these people at work?!" TWICE. It was 12:30pm, no shit everyone's going to be on lunch. The food, fine! I work across the street and i went after work to get some food and the lady who initially greeted me was very nice. She was blonde and had a nose ring :), although when i asked her a question about a manager i'd had know she was trying to ask me who it was then i was interrupted by her shift lead (i'm assuming) and told me to get out of her drive way since it was a 3 min car drive time. I understand drive times since i have previously worked in fastfood and at taco bell. There were no other cars behind me or anything when i was there. The initial lady told the shift lead i was asking a question and i told her i was indeed asking a question. She told me she didn't care and to go. I placed an online order for "Dining Room" pickup, because my vehicle is too big to go through the drive thru. I paid $10+ for the order in the app. When I get to the Taco Bell, the dining room is locked. No sign, just locked. I knocked on the door, no answer. I go to the drive thru speaker, they won't answer, the drive thru window... nope. An employee sitting in the dining area got up and wandered towards the door then disappeared behind the counter. On closer inspection, the door says 8 AM to 12 PM. So, it's literally been several years since I've been to this location (when I wrote the last review). Food was excellent today, and so was the service. I ordered three tacos and a soda, and ate inside. While I was there I interacted with 3 different employees. One of them - the one that was making my tacos - actually came out into the dining area and talked to me and asked what I preferred in my tacos (there were two options to choose from). The other employees were overly courteous and professional despite being no more than 20 years old (most kids working in fast food restaurants aren't very professional, but these employees were). Although there are self-service kiosks for placing your order, you can still walk up and order from an employee if you choose to (but you might have to wait for them to leave their post elsewhere in order to take your order). They were extremely busy at the time of my visit (12 noon on a Sunday with a line of cars at the drive-thru and at least 6 groups inside) but they handled the busy-ness just fine and my wait was no more than a few minutes. The dining area was impeccable, and while I ate my food there were two occasions where an employee walked the dining area to wipe the tables and ask if anyone needed anything. So, this will be another review of this location. I gave it another chance (like a goofball). I know that it's mostly young kids that are doing an entry level job, that are handling things. I get that. That said, this is the place to go if you want cold fast food. The whole charm of fast-food, is that it's warm so you can't tell how bad it is. I have gotten cold shredded cheese, dog-food grade ground beef and barely thawed soft shells three times in a row now. I don't want anyone to be on the hook for this individually, because this seems like a systemic problem. To summarize: COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE WORST TACO-BELL FOR 150miles. Found this in my cinnamon twist I almost choked. It's a piece of metal though it was a piercing bar but it's not. Don't ever go to Taco Bell in gardnerville on top of this they messed up my order. Called and let manager know and all he said was what would you like me to do. This has got to be the worst run fast food I have ever come across. The lobby is still closed claiming staffing. The issue is in the management. The lobby is closed because they are to lazy to clean it as it is much easier to just have drive through. No drink refills, only 2 packs of hot sauce ect, it is very obvious to all in town. As mentioned I can not get a big trailer in the drive but EVERY TIME I walk up, the door is closed. I came in on Super bowl Sunday and ordered 2 party packs, one with bean burritos and the other crunchy tacos. The cashier was friendly and even gave me a cup for water and said it was for while I was waiting. I hadn't even finish my water when my order was already up.
