So: I'm a long time fan of Burger King. I think that the Whopper is the second-best chain fast food burger around. (5 Guys rules, baby!). Given the recent hype, I had to try the new-and-improved Whopper. BK may have just lost me as a customer. The bun is now WAAAAY too sweet. It used to be something you used to hold the meat, now it's taken on. Starting role, and not in a good way. And I don't know what they've done with the meat. It's lost its flame-charred taste, and it's overpowered by the really sweet sauce (which may not have been changed but it stayed in the background in the past). Altogether the new Whopper has slipped way down my burger list - far down. If I wanted sweet I would have gone to Dairy Queen. I'll give it another shot at another restaurant to make sure this wasn't an outlier so look for an update in the near future. read more

Yo, stepping into this location was like being transported back to the 50s via the 90s. Y'all remember when BK went through that identity crisis where they attempted to reinvent themselves? Well this one is still dealing with it (honestly, I'm cool with it, I like the diner feel they are trying to give off). I love that they gave this place some personality. The huge records on the ceiling, the sunroom, and the '57 Chevy shaped booth, totally amazing for me. On my way back home from a recent trip to DC I wanted to make sure I ate well ahead of time and not forget until I was close enough to home and I'd have no options. Plus I needed to get out and stretch my legs. When I got out of my car the first thing I noticed is that it is situated in a bit of a wonky area. It is a dead end and the only thing on this road is the BK. Ordering was pretty quick and simple. I went with what I knew. I did opt for the onion rings instead of the fries. We all know what that equates to the next day, but I digress. The food was prepared fairly quickly and I was off to do my thing. The place is kept up nicely. Even though it is an older, read nostalgic, BK model, everything looked like that original set up right down to that pale pastel color scheme. This is a really cool retro-style Burger King in true diner form: little Cadillac seats to sit in, awesome exterior, and still has all the typical BK offerings you (presumably) already enjoy if you're bothering to read this review in the first place. I came here having no idea of its fantastic styling; I really just wanted to hop off the highway to get some food while I finished off some emergency work on my laptop. Imagine my surprise when I turn into the lot and see all the cool neon lights! It wasn't super busy when I went though there is plenty of inside seating available (including the little car booths!). The staff were pleasant to deal with (within the context of it being fast food anyway) and I got my order quickly. Sadly they were out of a few items on the menu but they still had my usual favorites. I don't feel like describing Burger King food makes a lot of sense since any reader has probably enjoyed it many times before, though their fries are crispy and their burgers are deliciously flame-broiled like they are at every other location (and cheap, as always). This particular location was kept very clean, and a staff member was going around and sweeping up despite the place already being in good shape. If you happen to be on the highway nearby or just in the area for some reason, this place is worth stopping by. Overall: 4.5 stars ---- Pros: - Cool retro styling both inside and out! - Fantastic fast food prices (lower than McDonald's and Wendy's pretty much everywhere). - Quality food for what you're paying. - Pleasant staff. - Lots of parking. After filling up with gas next door we decided we needed more than just chips so we decided to stop a burger king. Service was friendly. Fries were served cold and the food smelled like trash and was luke warm. Had to force myself to take a bite because I was hungry, like an idiot. Shouldn't have to say this but if your nose says "hey you're about to put trash in your mouth" don't eat it. If your hungry, just go to the gas station next door and grab something, you'll be happier. read more

Not bad. One of the unique Burger Kings we have been seen. Boring is not the word to describe. We stopped here from our long drive from Virginia to Niagara Falls, Canada. The place is clean and the food is up to par with other BKs. What is nice about the place is that it has a theme from the 50-60's. It has a yellow Classic Chevy car seat, vinyl records on the ceiling, vintage jukebox and the place is huge and comfy. read more

I had a great lunch experience. The place looks like a 50s diner. They even have a booth in the shape of a 55 Bel Air, convertible of course. And what really made the experience so great was my food. I ordered the impossible burger whopper. It takes just like the real thing! I appreciate the fresh crisp french fries. I also loved the space. They even have a large play area in the back. It really felt nostalgic. I think you will enjoy and you should bring the kids. read more

May 18,2020 Husband and I visited Roseville, MN Burger King this morning for breakfast drive through. Cashier was NOT wearing either mask or gloves. When we asked about it, she put on gloves and said the "masks were coming". Both of us are in compromised immune system category and in addition are in our seventies. We have been sheltering at home but needed to pick up groceries early in the morning. Never again will we patronize this restaurant located on Snelling Avenue across from Har Mar Mall. We will also post this review to our local Next -Door. We then drove over to the neighboring McDonalds stand where the staff was equipped with gloves and masks. read more

Staff is always friendly even when under staffed . Always seem to get orders out quickly, foods always hot. Coffee is pretty good, their new bacon sausage king breakfast sandwich is really good. Keep up the good work workers . read more

Today at 7:28 pm I placed an order for pick up using the BK mobile app, this location accepted the order and I paid and was charged for my items. I selected a pick up time of 7:45pm. I arrived a little prior and noticed from the road all the parking light were out and its was pitch black. That did make it easier to see they still had kitchen lights on so I assumed maybe only open for pickup or drive thru. When I pull in front of the building I see poorly hand written notes on 11x5 paper in the door so I go and check and it said basically due to labor shortage this location will be closing at 8pm daily from now on. Well it was 7:40pm and was closed and they took my money! SO I went through drive thru and saw a women working inside cleaning, I had to honk since she pretended not to notice me. She did not open the window so I had to speak loudly and show her I placed an order for pick up that they accepted. She said they are closed and told me they been closed since 7! So I asked why did this location accept my order then? And how do I get my money back, she said "I don't know what to tell you, try and call BK corporate nothing I can do." Well for starters why doesn't this franchise owner update their hours?! As its wrong on every front possible. We all can understand a labor shortage but does the owner not know his manager is closing the store 3 hours early?! read more

I ordered the chicken fries and halfway through i bit into one and about broke my tooth on a BONE that was at least an inch long!!!! Called corp to complain, then had the store manager call me today. I used to dislike their french fries, but at some point the company changed their recipe. Now, they're my favorite fast food fries. This location is very clean and pleasant. It's quieter than the McDonald's across the road, which makes it a nice place to stop if you're on a long road trip. read more
