Great burger king- better than expected actually. I was surprised they had the impossible burger at such a small location. The food came out quickly, and the fries were fresh and crunchy. Service was nice enough as well. While I don't think Burger King is ever a 5 star restaurant, this was a 5 star location. read more

This restaurant doesn't serve customers after 5pm on sundays. They only have new hires and they turn off the self ordering when they get busy... then they gaslight the customers standing in line. I've seen this consistently over the last 2 months. Someone should let the owner know the employees don't want to work. read more

HOLY SH$T this place is a working tragedy! Came by for a simple pre flight meal of a cheeseburger , fries & chicken fingers and what should have been a 2 minute transaction turned into 15 to 20 minutes. Now just so you know I'm not a bad dude I'll share the circumstances leading up to my review. Ok, first off 4 or 5 people are behind the counter that are employed. Working I have no clue but a lot of talking going on back behind that counter... One lady taking the money who appeared disgruntled and 4 in burger making zone wondering how to make a burger... As the line grew in length and hostile hungry travelers grew the BK Fans wanting chow were wanting to topple the KING and like it was OUR NATIONS CAPITAL on January 6th! Lucky for me I got my food after a lengthy wait. That flame broiled burger has a robust taste to make the wait worth it... Yet I was amazed that employees were inept and manage to keep their jobs... They have two counter machines now that you can put in your own orders. The soda machine was broken. Hash browns are almost like little tater tot coins except way more buttery, I don't really like that flavor. For a little more reasonable budget than some of the other airport food choices. read more

I'm sorry but the service at this place is awful. The employee in charge could care less and you can tell. There were only 3 people working the lunch crowd. They don't even take orders, I mean how easy is that? They have 2 kiosks to order their very limited menu. They have a menu up but that is not anywhere close to what they offer on the kiosks. It's very deceiving. An airport employee walked up and didn't have a credit card. He was told that they don't even have cash to take an order. He walked away. When I was placing my order, I saw iced tea as an option but didn't see it at the fountain. I asked the employee if they had iced tea and she shook her head yes and didn't even turn around. When I finally got my food, she gave me the cups but I had to wait for her to get my iced tea. She knew what I was waiting for but proceeded to drop chicken nuggets, clean out the freezer, grab some fries and finally another employee in the back came up to get my iced tea. Thank god or I would probably still be standing there. This was not just my experience, we watched the couple in front of us get only half their order and they were still waiting after I left. I know it's hard to find decent help these days but this was ridiculous. I also realize that this was just Burger King so my expectations were not high. And believe me if there was any other option in this terminal I wouldn't have eaten here. And that's how they get away with this kind of service. Had BK before departing home. The service was great the lady helping us was friendly and warm. The food was quick. My daughter, husband, and I ordered the whoppers meal. Now my daughter and I have a stomach bug.. this is the only thing we both ate. Not sure what it was but we're getting hit hard. read more

I really don't know why this Burger King is so popular because there are other better choices. It's a Burger King and what you get here is exactly the same as at any other Burger King, and I think Burger King burgers are rather good. But at this location there are generally long lines, long waits and the lengthy waits seem to apply whether there is a line or not, and then, after you've gotten your food, no tables, chairs or places to sit down and eat unless you walk up to area of Caviar & Bananas. read more

I was traveling back home on Tuesday, February 28th around 1:00-2:00 and the plane was delayed a for about 1/2 an hour. I wanted something to tide me over until I got home. I decided to just get an order of large French fries from Burger King. The friendliest woman took my order with a great big smile. She expeditiously gave me my order and the fries we piping hot. She asked if I needed ketchup and salt and pointed to where they were. She even wish me safe travels home. Thank you to this woman who made my visit to Burger King delightful. read more

Grabbed a breakfast burrito here because I didn't want to pay $9-$12 for something elsewhere in the airport. So here's the deal, I loathe fast food joints and everything they stand for, but when the reviews for other airport places are mediocre and double or triple the price and it's coming out of my pocket, I'll try it. The breakfast burrito was huge, a little salty, but heck, it had bacon and sausage, which are both pretty salty. It was warm and fast. Am I proud of my decision, ha, no, I feel a little dirty, but was it good and cheap? Yep. Obviously, 4 stars is a reflection of how I feel about it with the expectation fast food... I certainly wouldn't put it in the same 4 star category as some of the places downtown. read more

Seems like this place is getting the same reviews with nothing changing. The touch screens they have are useless. Try getting some chicken fries and was defaulting to a burger. Then went to the counter and order a plain cheeseburger some chicken fries and some reg fries. Asked for a med combo for one of them and was then charged $1 for some special cup. Took almost 15 min for my order to come out which is long for a BK. There was also no ice in the machine and was told right after I ordered that they were getting some. After a total of 20 min of waiting. Told them to refund that special cup I didn't ask for and walked away to get a drink somewhere else. Employees were just chit chatting in the back the whole time while person after person was complaining about one thing or another person. Multiple people were asking for refunds and waking away. Avoid this place and go to another airport food place. Any of the others will be worlds better than this place. read more

Short staffed, overworked and still killing it. Managed the line professionally and respectfully considering that they were dealing with traveler's frustrations as well as their own. Greeted with smiles and thanked for my business, these folks are doing their very best for little in return. In terms of food, it's Burger King. You know what you're getting, that's why you came here. Every order that was processed while I was standing there waiting to order and get my food was correct and delivered in a timely manner. Stop in, give these people a little well-deserved respect, and score some good food in return. Highly recommended for no-nonsense airport fare and GREAT service. read more

Don't bother ordering here if you want an accurate food order. Yes I get it, it's Burger King but still expected more. The kiosk ordering is trash. Wanted to exclude mustard and there is no option on the kiosk. The guy working the counter said the let him know that's what I wanted. Which I did and it didn't work. Also ordered bacon, no dice. Went to get a replacement and they gave me a single (not double) and no bacon. Finally got what I ordered but not without hassle. And the BK feedback blows. Not with the hassle. read more

Since I wasn't served in the only sit down restaurant in Charleston airport, I had to come to Burger King. The set up is stupid. There are no chairs or tables. The gate chairs are like half a mile away. Because I had a carry-on bag and a personal item I had to now stand in the terminal hallway and eat my chicken sandwich like an idiot, since I only have two hands and didn't feel like balancing my burger and fries on my head down to gate B9. Also airport prices, a meal is 9 dollars! Menu printed on Times New Roman size 4 font so you literally have to jump behind the counter to read it. Okay, so hear me out- I know it's weird to post a glowing review of an airport Burger King but holy crap this place is the bomb!!!! Their fries were so good and really upped my travel experience- perfectly golden and crisped on the outside and fluffy on the inside without being dry. This location is located in the recently renovated Charleston International Airport. For a Burger King, they had excellent service. We stopped by for breakfast and my husband and I got french toast sticks. Its been a long time about 12 years since I've had burger king breakfast, and i was pleasantly surprused that they were still good. Lol. They were prompt and the food was hot. They have a great group of ladies working in there as part of the morning crew. Even though it was a quick exchange, they even made a little friendly conversation. read more

I know this is Burger King and every location in a like 20 mile radius has two stars or less so i shouldn't expect much but the service is terrible and i didn't get what i ordered. It's at the airport so i was in a hurry and had to eat what i got. Also the automated order touch screens are not operational so don't think you are going to be able to bypass the line as those machines are meant for. Apparently they are for show only which you will rudely be told by the cashier. "That don't work. Fall in line." Ummmm... why is it there?? I suggest you don't fall for the fact that this is supposed to be "fast" food and go for literally anything else in the airport. read more

I am just glad this place is an option in our airport. The coffee is not bad and let's you avoid the starbucks line and the food is decent for a Burger King. Not looking for a gourmet sandwich but want something to eat, I appreciate the option of something a little more reasonable than normal airport fare. Not a bad option for a Burger King. read more

Workers are literally eating french fries as they put them in bags.. several people have been getting refunds.. one for waiting 24 minutes from the time on her receipt.. workers are laughing and giving customers the stare down for asking for updates on their orders.. The service here is slow at best. If you have a flight to catch you're better off going to any of the other restaurants near by. The food quality I would rate as pretty close to any Burger King. If there is no line than consider stopping here otherwise move on to literally any other place in the airport. read more

Turns out these 5 star reviews are legit. This place was fantastic. We had the Catfish and Shrimp plus the seafood boil. It was all fantastic. We're from Louisiana l, not the Northeast or Midwest like some of the reviews. The service was great. Everyone is very nice which fits the Charleston vibe. They serve bottle drinks only. No fountain drinks.

What I received was shocking: a very thin, breakfast-sized pork chop and half an ear of corn- all for $12.80 I asked the server where the rest of my meal was, and instead of acknowledging the issue, she asked what was wrong with it. I then asked her if she would personally pay $12 for what was in front of us. Her solution was to bring out another thin pork chop, which did not resolve the problem at all. This place used to be amazing when the original owner was running it- the food was always fast and fabulous. Unfortunately, that quality is clearly gone. The difference is night and day, and they desperately need the original owner back.

I arrived at around 3:30 pm went inside, and ordered a 12 piece meal; I knew there would be a wait of some kind due to the size of the order. So it was not a surprise when other customers who came in after me got their orders and the drive thur. After some time I asked the manager how long it would take, the response was nothing less than dismissive, "we are working on it." Okay no problem I am aware you are; some more time passes and nothing prepared me for the HOUR AND A HALF wait so by this point I am beyond flustered I asked again how much longer. The response was the same as before but this time the manager added, if you were not harassing me then it would be done. Now mind you I understand being busy and the food and beverage industry, but to accuse me of harassing her and then to make me wait 1.5 hours is just absolutely beyond ridiculous and she was just plain rude. I ended up getting a refund and LEFT as I hit the two hour mark! I will not be going back and I could understand if there was a staffing issue but there were plenty of workers there!

I have 1 star for the nice sounding peach honey pepper sauce but the sweet peach didn't combine well with the sweet n spicy for me. I don't eat biscuits...too powdery.
