Service is very slow. Waited 30 minutes for our mobile order that said it was ready for pickup. Customers ahead of us had been waiting for 30 minutes. Once we got our food it was not hot which makes no sense. What was the wait for then? The woman, Danielle, who is the manager was frequently yelling at customers who were simply asking about their orders. She was refusing refunds for customers. Very rude. This place desperately needs to be cleaned. The floors are nasty, like floor of the NY subway. I wanted to wash my shoes before getting back into my car. The bathroom has a huge stain that has obviously been there for weeks and not even mopped. One stall out of order, the other with no toilet paper. No way it would pass a health inspection. This is the absolute LAST time I stop at this location. The food was COATED in honey mustard and thrown together. I also ordered a hamburger patty for my dog and the box that they put it in was covered in grease, and all thrown into the bag. Napkins were even greasy. Thankfully I keep some in my car. I also went to use the women's restroom. One stall was roped off with yellow police tape, and the other was not clean. Also, the overhead light was not working, so it was dark when the door closed. Managers stand with their backs to you as they watch employees go into freezer and grab frozen product with their hands, drop in grease. Grab a bun and make a chicken sandwich and grab the cooked chicken with their hands. Watched a woman wipe her face with her hands and then make a burger. Younger guy in the back with puffy hair. No hat or hair net, literally puts hands through hair and makes sandwiches. Teenage shift supervisor proceeds to have a farting contest with an employee making a drug deal with his friend that just walked in. Did I also mention the employee had his pants unbuttoned and fly unzipped. Nice red underwear, hope it's clean because no one there looks like they have showered in a month or so. Tiles on floor in the kitchen coming up that were the same loose tiles in 1991. Bathroom light has been out for several months , gross walls, sink broken and leaking for months. Wall paper ripped off walls in dining room, stains on floor for months, seats ripped and worn. Food under booths that literally stays there for weeks. Definitely not owned by the Janco corporation anymore and it shows! read more

Normally I go inside to do pickups however.... There was a car show going on in the parking lot and it was absolutely no place to park except for 50 yards away on the other side of the parking lot. Instead of parking that far away to walk all the way to the restaurant and back just to get my burger.... I went through the drive-thru where I was told " I absolutely must come inside for the order because that is policy". At first, I politely explain that there is no place to park. I was then told " just pull around and park in front of the door to come inside". That is a fire lane. I then expressed the fact that in the same 5 minutes it was taking for them to insist that I either park far away or park illegally and come inside.... They could have easily just handed me my order and I'd have been on my way. I was told once again, " It is our policy. You need to come inside. We can't hand you the order through the drive-thru." Apparently today's generation doesn't understand the meaning of " customer service" or know the phrase " extenuating circumstances". It's funny how today's generation complains all the time about how they are victims and they deserve this and that and are entitled to anything they want...... If I wasn't in a rush tonight my meal would have been brought back. Crispy chicken, yes. Overcooked, dry rubbery chicken? No thanks. This location had issues with the dining room soda fountain a few months back that lasted for a few months. Ever since the cocoa cola tastes like a cheap replacement that I end up tossing out. The bathrooms have not seen a decent cleaning in I don't know when. As I'm sitting eating tonight I notice how outdated and old everything is inside the dining room and remember that it was either late 80's or early 90's that it was updated and what an awesome thing that was, because previously it was WICKED old too. Missing screws, broken woodwork, peeling wallpaper. Really BK, with your sales and this is what you give us to look at? Recently stopped in as we had a guest, but not been to a Burger King in many years and wanted to give it a try as we were looking for something quick and fast. There were about four cars in the parking lot, probably two or three tables with people sitting and eating. And no one in line. We got into line And we're ready to order. We waited over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Behind the counter there was a young woman with headset who seemed to be trying to work with the drive-through customers. There was a young man behind working in the kitchen at a snails pace. And there was another young man behind the counter right in front of us with his back turned to us, looking toward the kitchen. At one point as we were waiting to place our order a young man came out from the dining area and asked if he could get a refund. He said that he had been waiting for one single sandwich for over 35 minutes and he just wanted to leave. The young man behind the counter told him no refunds are not allowed. Our manager is not here. He said your order will be up next. Obviously the customer walked away, shaking his head and sat down again. We took that as our key to leave and went and spent our money elsewhere. read more

I entered the resteraunt at 3:47 Friday afternoon . Bathroom sink is cracked and leaking, bathrooms were gross. someone had spilled a drink in the dining room and it was all over the floor and nobody was cleaning it up. I went to the front counter to order stood there for 10 minutes and nobody even acknowledged my presence. There were two other people at the front counter that were not very happy waiting for their orders. There were not a whole lot of customers, but service was awful. Ended up leaving. read more

Disrespectful is not a word I would like to use but here we are. I got a few things and so did my friend, what I got was two eight piece nuggets and they asked me what sauces but in the end didn't even give me the sauces so now I have to just eat nuggets with nothing else which is basically a sin. If there was 0 stars I would give 0. I ordered my food and then listened to the gal working up front yell to the person making my burger instructions on how to make said burger. If it is the first time he is making a burger go to back of house and train them properly. Not only did I overpay for their food (which is on me) I then got to watch someone be trained on my food. So unprofessional. I was then handed my food at which time I said nothing and went to walk out while the gal that handed me my food saying "ok well Jesus then. (This is a repost from my Sturbridge McDonalds review) We were staying in the hotel next door and noticed the Burger King and McDoe's in Sturbridge are right next to each other. IDEAL conditions to finally go through with a long debated taste test comparison. Items: dollar menu burger with ketchup only, dollar menu fries, nuggets with BBQ sauce, and a small coke. We are at BK first - although my husband is a die hard McD fan, he was pleasantly surprised that the burger was thicker than expected and also pretty juicy. And we liked the sesame bun. Fries were a bit too thick in terms of coating but were def crispy and did taste like potatoes. Nuggets flavor was surprisingly improved over our memory of how BKs nugs have gone downhill, however they did leave an unsavory greasy mouthfeel. The Coke soda proportions were messed up, it tasted like a melted frostee. One note: the girl working at the front counter was super nice, seriously the nicest employee we've ever encountered at a fast food chain. Now we take a final sip of soda and walk across the parking lot to test out McD's and complete the challenge. We get in and there are two people working, and two customers. One customer is explaining "no sauce" and the two people working the stations debate with each other and don't seem to understand what "no sauce" means. Okay this is kinda funny but why is that so hard to understand? No sauce means no sauce. We look around and the place is a mess - straw wrappers and ketchup cups littered all over the dispenser. Clearly understaffed. Our immediate thoughts are "this will not be a fair matchup", however my husband had proposed the challenge and we agree, "any given Sunday". Well we stand there for another seven or so minutes watching the fiasco that ensues; girl in the back with a head set taking orders from the drive thru while guy in front prepares fries and too many caramel sundaes. (And douses fresh fries with salt but let's them sit, no shake of the bowl ....). Now the driver at the drive thru window wants a refund but they can't figure out how to do it. Girl in the back had overcharged the driver for 2x caramel sundaes. They switch cooking positions (to the dismay of the two customers ahead of us inside who have clearly been waiting ten plus minutes for a burger) to deal with the return. We don't think any food has been made since we got there except for too many caramel shakes and the unfinished fries. 10 minutes. The amusement is waning. Our presence at the register hasn't been acknowledged and we have no hopes that we'll be noticed anytime soon. There's a steady stream of cars outside and they are prioritizing those orders. We throw in the towel. Alas, we must wait another day to complete our challenge. The manager at McDonalds needs to staff up. It was somewhat heart wrenching to watch those two teenagers suffer through it. There was a third employee we noticed, hiding, and peering out at the situation from behind kitchen equipment. She might have been "sweeping". We wondered why she wasn't cleaning up the mess out front, where it was really dirty. Oh well. We went across the road and had Friendly's for desert instead. BK won the taste test tonight, but it's still a fast food burger.... 3 stars. read more
