Went there last week to get a happy meal for my grandson. The food was ok, I guess. When I went to give him his milk, I noticed that the container was open, and half empty. Scary to think of what could have been in there, or how long it was open. Complained to corporate via email. Got a generic response, saying "sorry you were disappointed w/ the quality. we will contact the restaurant, hope to see you back soon!" I don't expect top quality food at McDonalds, but at I at least expect it to be safe to eat. read more

Absolute joke of a McDonald's. My little brother got a latte that barely tasted like coffee, so he politely asked if they could add some coffee to it. After giving us major sass and eye rolls, she suggested he pay for another espresso shot. After the interaction and my brother's payment, she turned to the next customer in line and said, "these guys are idiots" loud enough for us to hear. Once AGAIN, wrong order. My husband picked it up, and I have told him you HAVE to open everything up, right there in the drive through line, because your order will be 99.9% incorrect, EVERY time. He didn't do it, so sure enough, when he got home instead of the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit he ordered for me, I received 2 pieces of bacon on a biscuit, nothing else. No cheese, no sausage...just 2 pieces of bacon on dry bread. While we would (and could) NEVER, EVER expect the correct order from this place, we were just hoping that 1% of it had been correct. But no way. Only go to this location if you're willing to eat whatever the heck these people make for you. At least our 2 dogs liked the bacon. I'm so tired of going to this location and driving away and finding my meals aren't made the way I've ordered. You'd think I'd catch on and sit and hold up the line and open each meal before driving off. I guess that's what I do from now on. Cold fries, wrapper that shows my order for one meal and instead of extra onions I have the skimpiest of a sprinkle. When your craving something a certain way it would be nice to get it that way. Worst McDonald's experience ever! We put in out orders and had to wait 15 minutes for food that wasn't even hot. Fries were cold. Ordered a large fountain drink and wanted iced tea and they charged an extra $2.00. There were no straws or lids to put in the drinks and the bathrooms were trashed. The staff was also terrible, not pleasant and seemed irritated doing their jobs. Stopped there thinking it would be a quick stop on our way home, terrible!!! read more

It's small. So small that there isn't room for people to line up in front of the ordering registers. Instead, there is a communal line on the right side, and you peel off to the first available register. If you are here for the first time, you might not know that, because I didn't. Our order of an Egg McMuffin (breakfast all day !!) and a Santa Fe salad with grilled chicken came up with a bit of a longer wait than I would have expected, seeing that there were 6 workers scurrying around the kitchen. When I went to fill up my soft drink cup with Coke Zero, the only thing that came out of the tap was clear colored soda water. Oh well. Walked into restaurant at lunchtime with some (dirty) tables with chairs still up. Of the remaining 10 tables, 9 we're visibly dirty and the trash was overflowing. Appeared to be plenty of staff and a slow time to catch up on cleanup. Busy area, many better choices. read more

A McDonalds by the highway in an area surrounded by hotels that is supposedly open 24/7 not open at all at 9:30pm. No lights on in the building or parking lot so I'm not sure if they are open anymore at all. read more

McDonald's new crispy chicken sandwich verses Chick -fil -A's crispy chicken sandwiches. The answer without delay is Close but no cigar. McDonald's has certainly stepped up its game in the chicken sandwich department, but once again fell short against Chick -fil-A. I purchased a crispy chicken deluxe and a spicy chicken sandwich to make a fair comparison to the world renowned crispy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. The McDonald's sandwich's are a little dryer and all they did was put some buffalo sauce on a crispy chicken sandwich and called it a spicy chicken sandwich. That's no good my friend. Therefore even Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is better. You must put the spice in the batter like you did on the spicy chicken nuggets to be authentic. Overall McDonald's crispy chicken sandwich is a Great improvement but Chick- fil-A is still the Best. Sorry just keeping it real . Bot dot ba ba ba. if i could give this place zero stars i seriously would... every time i go there they royally mess up my order and rush me out of the drive through line so i don't have time to check. every time i say "jesus i should really leave a review... this place sucks" and then i never do it. honestly just over it, they gave me a big mac with literally half of a burger on it, they charged me for extra sweet and sour which is literally ridiculous because i ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget and asked for 2 sweet and sour with it... AND THEY GAVE ME NO SWEET AND SOUR???? i paid a whopping 4.99 for a medium fry along with my partners order... no medium fry... nothing. i truly think i could pay this months rent with the amount of money this place has just straight up STOLEN from me because they charge me for all this bullshit and don't give it to me or it's just straight up inedible. i'll try to compile all the pictures i've collected since i've been dealing with this but honestly, it's hard to take a picture of items that you never even receive. don't waste your time going here, even if they give you all your food i guarantee something is messed up or just straight up disgusting. i don't have high standards for fast food... i'll basically eat anything... but having my money taken for no reason is like??? don't go here. read more

We had been at OSV celebrating my moms birthday. None of us lives nearby so we needed a place for birthday cake. We went into McDonald's, bought cups of coffee - for $1 each. They brewed a fresh pot for us. They didn't care that we brought in our own cake. They didn't care that we sang all 3 verses of the Happy Birthday song in 6 part disharmony, all off key, off tempo and off pitch. They didn't care that we sat there for an hour. I mean it's Sturbridge and it's a bette McDonald's than Southbridge for sure but there's a lot left to be desired here as far as the taste goes. I'd argue that the Mass Pike has better food and there's no need for that to be true, not when you have a great clean facility in a great location. A poor showing here to be quite honest. We were staying in the hotel next door and noticed the Burger King and McDoe's in Sturbridge are right next to each other. IDEAL conditions to finally go through with a long debated taste test comparison. Items: dollar menu burger with ketchup only, dollar menu fries, nuggets with BBQ sauce, and a small coke. We are at BK first - although my husband is a die hard McD fan, he was pleasantly surprised that the burger was thicker than expected and also pretty juicy. And we liked the sesame bun. Fries were a bit too thick in terms of coating but were def crispy and did taste like potatoes. Nuggets flavor was surprisingly improved over our memory of how BKs nugs have gone downhill, however they did leave an unsavory greasy mouthfeel. The Coke soda proportions were messed up, it tasted like a melted frostee. One note: the girl working at the front counter was super nice, seriously the nicest employee we've ever encountered at a fast food chain. Now we take a final sip of soda and walk across the parking lot to test out McD's and complete the challenge. We get in and there are two people working, and two customers. One customer is explaining "no sauce" and the two people working the stations debate with each other and don't seem to understand what "no sauce" means. Okay this is kinda funny but why is that so hard to understand? No sauce means no sauce. We look around and the place is a mess - straw wrappers and ketchup cups littered all over the dispenser. Clearly understaffed. Our immediate thoughts are "this will not be a fair matchup", however my husband had proposed the challenge and we agree, "any given Sunday". Well we stand there for another seven or so minutes watching the fiasco that ensues; girl in the back with a head set taking orders from the drive thru while guy in front prepares fries and too many caramel sundaes. (And douses fresh fries with salt but let's them sit, no shake of the bowl ....). Now the driver at the drive thru window wants a refund but they can't figure out how to do it. Girl in the back had overcharged the driver for 2x caramel sundaes. They switch cooking positions (to the dismay of the two customers ahead of us inside who have clearly been waiting ten plus minutes for a burger) to deal with the return. We don't think any food has been made since we got there except for too many caramel shakes and the unfinished fries. 10 minutes. The amusement is waning. Our presence at the register hasn't been acknowledged and we have no hopes that we'll be noticed anytime soon. There's a steady stream of cars outside and they are prioritizing those orders. We throw in the towel. Alas, we must wait another day to complete our challenge. The manager at McDonalds needs to staff up. It was somewhat heart wrenching to watch those two teenagers suffer through it. There was a third employee we noticed, hiding, and peering out at the situation from behind kitchen equipment. She might have been "sweeping". We wondered why she wasn't cleaning up the mess out front, where it was really dirty. Oh well. We went across the road and had Friendly's for desert instead. read more

When it is hot I want ice cream, when I'm driving home I want to milkshake. I know this might sound odd, but I enjoy ice cream and I'd like to know it is available. The last five times I have been to this McDonald's ice cream is not available. I don't have this issue with other McDonald's. Interestingly enough the Burger King next-door always has ice cream available. If you're going for ice cream, don't waste your time at this McDonald's. The machine is always down. read more

This restaurant needs to respect their employees better. I went in the other day and the manager was yelling at an employee about how they didnt understand how to give out the right orders. Instead of yelling constantly at their employees they should teach them how to do their job right. Im tired of every time coming into this store and seeing so much disrespect coming out of it. Also, if an employee is confused about what to do because the other employees are simply taking over when theyre not supposed to that eventually will slow down the whole process of making the food and handing it out. The managers need to put the people in their places and make sure they STAY THERE. not crossing over eachother and trying to go back and forth and make everything into a wreck. This particular franchise store is getting expensive. They recently raised prices on a lot of their food. For instance, their Iced Tea jumped almost 30% from $1.00 to $1.29. Thirty percent! How would you like it if your favorite gas station raised their price per gallon overnight from $2.50 to $3.25 reason? The reason they give is that Iced Tea is "brewed" like coffee so it should be priced like coffee. This price increase along with the other selections is ridiculous, and I refuse to go along it. This is just pure greed. Instead, we go 300' down Main St. To Burger King and patronize them instead. read more

I couldn't find a place to report this to the board of health or some restaurant inspection department so wanted to let people know--you can feel however you choose. For me, this was the last straw and will never go there again. I stopped by to get a chocolate milk shake and some fries through the drive through. When I got to the window to pay, there were two people. When I paid the cashier, he walked away and the second person was sitting behind him with a cigarette rolling machine rolling cigarettes and had been at it for some time as there was a big stack of them in a box--he also had one hanging out of his mouth. I am pretty sure this is not the place this is supposed to be taking place and don't really care whether he smokes or even rolls his own smokes would just prefer it is not where my food is being prepared. read more

Went inside to order. Order was placed, but nothing being made. The grill person was moping the floor. Then, even he was done, never washed his hand, then grabbed a used pair of gloves and attempted to put them on. I spoke up saying "you better not be putting on used gloves!" The shift manager told me he didn't, but I watched him!!!!! He then grabbed a new pair, but still didn't wash his hands. I walked out, threw my order on the trash.
