The store looks clean, and the tables are wiped down clean, but the food is nasty like the worst. I get the fries, and they taste so bad all I feel is oil in my mouth without any potatoes. the service here is surprisingly pretty good. they actually always make my burgers neatly, and i feel like some of the workers honestly care about their customers. they almost always get my orders right, even with special instructions. i also unironically like burger king more than other chains like mcd's and wendy's. the nuggets are more flavorful than mcd's and actually taste good to me... people who want them to taste like gourmet dining are just expecting too much from a fast food chain. i really loved the spicy nuggets they had like a year or two ago and hope they come back soon. read more

What is this pastry chef doing in a fast food joint named after the King of Hamburg? He's waiting as his dad's car is getting tinted down the street. And he was hungry. He notes the average cleanliness of the establishment and the average service of the Hispanic women working the breakfast shift. He ordered an "enormous omelet sandwich" combo with a large mocha joe, which is apparently the King's attempted response to McDonald's iced coffee. The sandwich is nothing to write home about, he thinks, but still enjoys it because it includes some of his favorite breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese. This morning I ordered a number 7 (biscuit with sausage), but was given number 6 (French toast). When I talked to the server, it turns out there weren't any biscuits left. The PA was acting up, they asked me to drive up and took my order at the drive in window. The only thing I liked about this location was the abundant amount of parking space and available tables and seats....need I say more? The counter top was completely empty with the exception of a cookie display. The cookie looked about 20 years old. The server was as nice as one could be working in this dreary hole. I almost wanted to commend her for sticking it out here, as there is almost no redeeming quality here. It looked like they ran out of ingredients and food making items. The display was faded from the depths of time. The food didn't taste like Burger King. It tasted like re-heated leftovers from last week's out-door bbq. The fries were pretty thick but obviously re-heated. The soda tasted old too. Besides the kind server, there is no other reason I can think of to return to this restaurant. Every time I come here I almost always have a problem with my food. The manager is always cool enough though to fix it. So that makes it up. It's so slow here, maybe because the Hat is down the parking lot. They take forever to make your food, but at the same time, its all being made fresh anyway. First things first. Look at the business hours they have posted on their own website. It says open until 12am every night, right? Wrong... They actually close at 11pm during the weekdays. So when I got there at 11:15pm on a Wednesday night and pulled up to the drive thru menu, everything looked open, but they were actually closed already. So like a jerk, I waited there for a few minutes and nobody came on the speaker. Finally, I drove up to the service window and someone opened it and uttered, "Sorry we're closed." Why was this so frustrating? Well, this has already happened once before and at this very location no doubt. I head on over and, oops they're closed. Most chains are opened 24 hours or to 2am at least, but not Burger King. So this time I specifically looked up the business hours of this particular Burger King at 5541 Rosemead Blvd Temple City, CA 91780 on their very own website too. It says open until 12am every night, but that's wrong. It's 11pm on these nights and 12am on those nights. Anyway, just a heads up, don't waste your time. Rude cashier. Rudely handed my tray of food and I asked her where is the hot sauce is? Rudely pointed where the condiments are at and walked away from me to assist another guest. I said excuse me that was rude I still have questions. She looked at me and I said to her you can finish assisting the guest. Another cashier came up and ask me if I needed anything so I ask for the condiments and she gave to. Ask to speak with a manager but manager is not available. Coming here for years now and there is never a problem. Everyone practiced social distancing due to the pandemic which is great and appreciated. Amazing service as always, and also so convenient. I come here because the bundle of combo prices are always so good. I recommend ordering a whopper combo, it's amazing. The prices of each food item is reasonable and cheap which is great. This place sucks! Probably the worst Burger King around--both in terms of food quality and service. The inside never looks very clean, so this time I decided to go to the drive through. I ordered multiple drinks, was alone in the car, and the dumb woman at the window doesn't even give me a drink carrier! Brilliant! Since I didn't get a receipt, I'm trying to enter some prices into my phone to get reimbursed when I get back to the office. Suddenly, the genius woman hands me the food and says thank you. I take it and briefly continue entering prices. Only a few seconds have elapsed, when she again says "Thank you" (her voice growing impatient). She says it again and then asks me to move. Mind you, there is absolutely no one behind me or anywhere else in site! And we're talking about 5 - 10 seconds while I put my phone away. WTF! Granted BK is not exactly me fave place to eat. As an avid follower of The King, it is my duty to travel across to the various locations during my pilgrimage. It was to my utter disgust however, that this particular location has lost its way. As you will find apparent, "Everything is not what it seems". From the outside, it seems like a regular Burger King, but upon entering, you see a desolate wasteland, slowly decaying with dirty floors and poorly maintained bathrooms. The in-store service was severely lacking, as the employees made no attempt to greet neither my friends nor I, even though we were the only ones there. Only by approaching the counter and waiting for THEM (it NEEDS to be the other way around) to be ready was I able to begin ordering. The wait for the food was reasonable, however, the food was abysmal. The drive-through is somewhat more pleasant, as you don't have to deal with incompetence. You just state your order, pull up to the window, and wait for your food. Much better than getting some poker-faced cashier in the store. My absolute favorite item from the Burger King is what it is known for, the Whopper. Upon commencing to devour the Holy Grail of all Burgers, I was absolutely disgusted with what I was eating. The bun looked shriveled and wet all around, the meat was far from flame-broiled and was ridiculously bland tasting. There was also a severe lack of the sauce that makes every Whopper better. At first I assumed this to be a one-time thing, and went back on several occasions throughout the years, but it NEVER improved. To sum everything up, if you are a fan of Burger King, don't waste your time or money here. You would be better off starving or donating your hard-earned cash to charities. read more

She had a caring conversation wishing us a happy holidays, exchanging our plans with each other, & made waiting for our order very personal and sweet. I was very skeptical towards ordering an iced coffee because I'm usually given a very sweet watered down drink when I order one. However, they were so willing to make my coffee right.
