We were looking for some late night eats, and stumbled upon BK. I pulled up to the large drive thru and quickly learned that it was an automated, AI ordering system of some sort. I'm sure there is a secret and you say something like, "order with employee," to by pass if needed. But, I rolled with it. I took on that challenge. It really was not too hard. Our order was correct on the screen, down to having it our way with light ice, or no pickles or extra cheese. I get it new technology can be scary as it is a change. But, take a deep breath and embrace it. When we got up to the window to pay, there were no issues. Out order was 1000% correct. Went to Burger King today6/1/24 Saturday afternoon half hour wait only two people working in the store full of the people in the dining room there because they got the wrong order at the drive-through the poor kid working the drive-through didn't have a clue didn't know the difference between a whopper and a whopper Junior. I was playing football in the scumy area with the tables and the manager or somebody screamed "DONT PLAY FOOTBALL IN MY DINING ROOM." I know for a fact that he does not get paid enough to care. If I could have given 0 stars I would. Very disappointing experience. Travel often on business and Burger King is a go-to for early days when "lunch time" strikes before 10am or so. Thought I' try the Ch'king sandwich which promises to be "thick" Juicy" "Crispy" and ""crunchy". Well... it as none of those except the last - crunchy - because it was thin and over cooked, with edges inedibly so. I would have returned it had I not opened it only when I got home. Worst Burger King in the State of RI. The food was absolutely atrocious. The staff way beyond ignorant and disrespectful. The manager was ignorant as well and gave attitude for no reason what so ever. Way over priced. I pay more then 20$ for 2 meals and can't even get a sauce cup without being charged extra. This Burger King deserves to be shut down completely and boycotted. The whole entire staff starting with the manager needs to be fired and replaced. While this particular Burger King is far from perfect, it has never let me down. It might be a little slow waiting. The soda machine has limited options. The food will certainly not wow you. It's Burger King. I have been to this specific site dozens of times. Everyone has always been very friendly. The hours are solid. The food is what you pay for. I have never had a problem worth noting. Could the Wakefield Burger King improve? Yes it could. I have never had a worse experience at a fast food restaurant than when I arrived at this Burger King at are 12 a.m. on Friday night. First, we asked for 100 nuggets for $10 which is a recent promotion from Burger King. The women speaking to us said, "You really need all those nuggets" She clearly didn't want to do her job and make food so she negotiated with us so we only ended up ordering 30 nuggets. She told us we could only get 30 because that's how many they had and she did not want to make more. It get worse. We had 5 people in the car so of course we had to add more to our order. My friend continued our order and asked for a cheese burger. The worked then continued and said, "Are you gonna order the whole menu?" At this point we where so frustrated and decided to just drive away. As driving away the worker stood at the window, holding up the peace sign. I was appalled with my experience here. Not only did she not want to do her job and make us food but she was insanely rude. She had no reason to be angry with us, seeing that the Burger King was still open for two more hours. I pulled up to the late night drive through during the open hours last night. When I got to the ordering station the only sound coming through the speaker was heavy breathing. The employee was visible through the window when I had pulled up to the Burger King so I know there was a staff member on the other end who was attempting to get out of doing their job and frightening me at the same time. After multiple communication attempts with no response I left the drive through and have no intentions of supporting this business in the future. read more
