It was so garlicky that I thought it must have been a mistake. The meatballs had whole cloves in them. I LOVE garlic but I couldn't eat the sandwich as it was overpowering. However, Wakefield is lacking in a good Italian place and I did think this may have been a mistake, so I gave it another try. It also helped that they have $.50 wings on Monday. I ordered 8 buffalo wings and rigatoni & meatballs. Well I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were excellent. I think they make their own buffalo sauce and i detected that they used butter (which is always a good thing). Not too hot but a kick. The pasta and meatballs were good. The sauce was not my favorite but that is a matter of taste. The price was a bit high but not outrageous. The service was a little slow, but I suspect that was my server as she never seemed to be on the floor, while the other 2 were very visible. All in all, a nice experience.

Will return for the smash burger, and to see Elizabeth's smile. Even the music in there is good Highly recommended!

The complementary bread was warm and delicious...it came with a nice olive oil dip. We got two glasses of the Simi Valley Cab and they were delicious and robust. Great choice for a red wine. I ordered the clam spaghetti and my husband got the Chicken Rossini. The pasta was very salty...probably the saltiest dish I have had in years...I did not send it back, I just downed two full glasses of water with my meal. My husband's chicken dish was large and good tasting, but also a bit salty...not as much as my pasta dish, but salty. It's easy to add a bit of salt to a dish, but it's really hard to take it out. Based on how salty the food was, I would not be coming back here anytime soon.

Our server, Larry, was attentive, genuinely personable and provided excellent service. I started with the Salerno Sidecar ($14), and it might just be one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It struck a flawless balance between sweetness and bitterness, with an incredibly smooth finish that made it dangerously easy to sip. For my entrée, I chose the house-made gnocchi ($29), and it was divine. Larry mentioned they make it from scratch, and it absolutely showed--each bite was like a soft, pillowy cloud, perfectly complemented by a rich, flavorful sauce. We all shared bites of each other's dishes, and not a single plate disappointed. I sampled their chicken Toscana, chicken Milanese, rigatoni Bolognese and fettuccine scampi. Each one bursted with freshness and layered with flavor. You could taste the care in every dish. Inside is very clean, has a very inviting atmosphere. Such a nice place and I highly recommend.

We honestly couldn't have asked for better staff interaction. Everyone was friendly, personal and genuinely cared about our time there! Also hats off to the chef! Jared told us he was the best and I can agree! This was quite possibly one of the best meals I've had all year! We shared a special of the night ( goat cheese, beets, peaches and hot honey) and the salad that is set to be a new menu item. Everything was locally sourced and these dishes were a 10/10! It was hard to choose and entree so Emily C and I split the cod and the steak sirloin. The cod was to die for. The best I've ever had. The sirloin was chefs kiss and the sauce and asparagus it paired with (and potatoes too) were all out of this world! While i was already full, the dessert menu is a must. We went with a lemon dessert and oh my goodness was it to die for! Drinks were amazing too---I had a spritz and a very tasty mocktail! Ambiance both inside and outside are beautiful. Since it was a sunny summer night we sat outside, but inside is equally stunning. It is very upscale chic and so pretty! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I'll be back for the staff, especially our server David, another drink, the eggplant sandwich and more of the dessert menu! I see why Yelp raves about this new spot! It is !

Two of the folks had the Shrimp Scampi and they loved it. I had the Cavatelli Bolognese. It was awesome. The youngster in our party had the typical Pasta & Meatballs and had no complaints (she ate the whole dish). The last person had the House Salad topped with the Salmon. We all had desserts. What was incredible was the Tiramisu which is made at the restaurant. Alone this could be split 4 ways if you wanted. Anyway, Arturo Joe's is not your typical Italian restaurant. It is definitely a step above and the prices are reasonable. Also, the restaurant owner/ manager stopped by our table to see how things were going and if there was anything else we needed. The service was great even though they seemed to be extremely busy with limited staff. You have got to tr4y this place if you are in the area. Nothing fancy inside or out, but who cares when the food served and service provided are outstanding. FIVE Stars does not fairly measure our level of satisfaction with our dining experience from food to service to cost. Warm crusty bread loaf with EVVO Dip was brought to table right away. The dip was the most flavorful I have had in a restaurant. Orders included: Blue Mussels Appetizer in a Gorgonzola broth with onions, a special. (Large quantity $13.) Amazing! Seafood Risotto -- Outstanding! Perfectly cooked rice base with lobster, scallops and shrimp. Seasoned skillfully. Filet Mignon -- with a blue cheese sauce was tender and flavorful. Lazyman Lobster -- Seafood stuffed (1 1/4 pound) was my selection. Surprised the crumb topping enhanced the rich buttery seafood. I usually toss it aside. Would order again! (Only $34.99) The sides were also very good: Smashed garlic mashed Homemade warm golden hued Kettle Chips Al dente Broccoli Medley of seasonal vegetables Only one exception: A side order of French Fries was not appetizing. It tasted greasy and was over salted. Fries were on thin side and stuck together. Overall, food exceeded our expectations, and we are eager to return. We are interested in trying one or more of their FOUR Calamari Apps. I am intrigued by the Thai style one with a peanut sauce. They have a Lounge Menu and a Dining Room menu with creative seafood and steak options. We believe Mariners is far superior to nearby George's Restaurant in Galilee in food prep, service, and cost.

There is ample parking around the restaurant, which is located in a plaza. We asked for a table rather than a booth & were accommodated. I ordered a glass of Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling & my friend an Aperol Spritz. Our pleasant young waitress had no knowledge of the alcoholic beverage menu, explaining that she wasn't old enough to drink. We literally had to point it out on the menu so she could copy it to her order pad. The wine pour was generous. We were served a complimentary loaf of bread warm from the oven with an olive oil dip. Delicious! For our mains, I ordered the broiled sea scallops ($26), one of their nightly specials. I chose rice as one of my sides & asked if they could steam some broccoli for the other, which they did. My friend ordered the Garlic Parmesan Mushroom Chicken ($20) with angel hair pasta. Both were large servings & very good. We ordered a piece of their chocolate cake to share for dessert, which the restaurant generously comped as it was my friend's birthday. The entire bill came to just under $72 before tip. Unfortunately, there is a 3.5% upcharge if you use a credit card, a practice I truly dislike.
