Boon Street Market is amazing when you aren't sure what you are in the mood for (or with others who all want different things). I got the smash burger with a side of fries (shoestring, my favorite). It was delicious, perfectly cooked and not greasy. The bun was sesame bun was so fresh. My friend raved about her shrimp tacos and they looked yummy. We went in April on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but I know it's a popular place and gets packed on the weekends. They had several TVs and this would be a great place to watch some sports and have a drink. Parking was fine for us but I could see it being a problem when it's busier. The prices were reasonable (great for Narragansett) and I noticed they had different weeknight promotions. Food is ordered on an app and picked up at the counters, sort of food court style. I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful of an experience I had here! I want to thank Eric and all of his staff for such a great first visit. Let's start off with the fact that currently on weekends from 10-12 if you purchase a cocktail, mocktail or NA beverage, you get a free brunch item. Like, wow! I got a mini Oreo mudslide (wow!!!) and got a free breakfast pizza. I'm literally OBSESSED with this pizza and am so sad I'm like 75 minutes from this spot. If I was local, I'd be there every weekend! It was so good! I also got the BOONwich for best sandwich RI and it was super creative. They are not playing with food here---they def mean business! Everything is unique and absolutely amazing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I came in contact with at least half a dozen staff while there and each person was friendly and personable. On the RI Food Fights #BestSandwichRI trail yesterday, we went to Boon Street Market in Narragansett. There were two young women welcoming guests into the building & giving helpful instructions if it was your first time there. They mentioned that if you purchased a drink (including mocktails), you could get a free brunch item (10am-11am on Sundays). Yes, you read that right!!!! It was earlier in the day & so we were going to make the sandwich our breakfast but hubby is never one to miss something with eggs & definitely not something FREE! So, we ordered our delicious #Boomwich #RIFoodFights sandwiches & an order of Steak & Eggs: 6 oz steak, fried eggs with hollandaise over home fries. OMG! Brought a friend from out of town here for a quick bite while showing them the beaches. We ended up sitting at the bar and having a couple beers. The bartender was super friendly and made a point to remember our names. I really appreciate folks who do that. We had some birria tacos, which were amazing. We also had some fries and a burger. The burger was stellar! Everything really was well done and relatively affordable for the location. We really like the space, too. The bar is big and full of sunlight. Been going to the Narragansett area for over 40 years. Last September I went out to Twin Willows it was dead and the guys there tell me everyone was going to Boone Street. So I went. I had a few drinks spoke to a gal at the bar who might have been the bartenders girlfriend ? Anyway I left, got in my vehicle and made a right hand turn out of the lot. And my radar detector went off. I pulled over and walked back to the unmarked car behind me and said how can I help you officers. They seemed ignorant and unsophisticated. They stated that they'd received two calls that I left there drunk. I started to laugh. So is this entrapment? Do your friends over serve people and then you wait to arrest them? I suggested that I take an Uber home. They agreed. When I got home I called the Narragansett Police Department to complain about the officers behavior. They said we'll send a car out to take a complaint. I said do not do so they sent three cars out at 1:30 in the morning with lights. Not only do I not recommend Boone Street I think Narragansett is and always has been an incredibly mismanaged and dangerous tourist town. If you know Rhode Island you are familiar with the white signs with the red font behind many bars. It's from an organization that trains bartenders and servers to recognize intoxicated patrons and how to not over serve them. Frank runs it. He told me that for as long as he can remember the Narragansett cops have been incompetent and/or rookies who create lawsuits for the city. Which they've done with me. Interesting set up. I wish there was more seating. Ordered the jalapeño cheddar sausage meal and husband ordered a smash burger with Cajun tots. The sausage was good, great mustard. Only came with fries not the jalapeño relish or cabbage as stated on the menu. Fries were good. Would've loved to try the other things it said it came with. We had to order a drink, grab an empty cup by the kiosk and walk to another room for a soda machine - no idea our choices before we ordered. This place is a joke!!! I hesitated writing a review but after I sent several emails hoping to get some sort of response and never received any I decided to write a review..... I booked the fire pit at a cost of $500, it was a busy holiday night but that's why I booked it and paid the money. Upon arrival there were these misting units above each fire pit and scattered throughout the Boon Street establishment ( it was a very humid night) The misting was not helpful, in fact it was annoying and you know how women are with their hair!! I asked for it to be shut off in our Pit but was told if you shut one off then you shut them all off- so we tolerated it for a while and eventually they were turned off, my guess is someone else complained. Our waitress greeted us and said " hey I see you made a reservation without a waitress" I said no that's not correct.... I mentioned that the way they have it on the open table app. is confusing it said 1 server x 0... so I assumed 1 server and we tip.... My thought is if you book a pit at $500 you should have a server automatically!! She was very sweet and it was extremely busy, so she said she would help us out but to be patient.... Which we were.... We placed our order of food and were told that they we could not order any food from the BBQ place and no hot wieners and that it was busy so the food will come out when it's ready. Apparently when you reserve the pit you get a seafood tower of lobster, oysters, clams, crab, shrimp..... well guess what?? No shrimp!!! They call the Fire pit reservation " The fire pit" experience - what a joke!!! Today I ate at Rhody Ramen. Lily at the service station was exceptional! She went out of her way to make sure the food ( chicken and lemongrass dumplings) were cooked to order and were hot enough! Great service goes a long way for making very happy customers! The dumplings hit the spot especially since I'm a lemon fan. The lemon is in the sauce which is served separately so you can have a little or a lot. I also had the steamed edamame with a very rich tasting soy type sauce... Went to Narragansett town beach and looked up what was in the area for food. Ordering through a kiosk is an interesting concept! It feels like a much smaller version of Faneuil Hall. This is a great option for going out with friends who can't decide on what to eat! There's a handful of restaurants to choose from, place your order on the kiosk and find your own seating. Older customers might have difficulty with the technology/ setup. Staff were friendly, establishment was clean, and the food was delicious. They also cater to peanut/ tree nut allergies which is positive. There's too many televisions located throughout, I think having one in the bathroom stall is a little excessive. If your in southern RI Boon Street Market is a great addition to the Narragansett, RI area. Just opened last June, and the welcoming faces and concept are pretty fabulous. The setup reminds me of a public market with many different food options to choose from, but all the same restaurant Eric greeted me and led me up to the bar where both Eric and Charlotte took great care of me. The menu features mexican, BBQ, burgers, pizza, and ramen dishes. I would have loved one of everything. I went with the pork ramen, which was absolutely delicious and 50% off between 11 and 12. All summer long we've been watching this new place with much interest. We live in the area & often visit several nearby places. We've even walked through a few times, only to find the place so packed that we decided to move on to somewhere else. Now that summer is over, we thought we'd stop & give it a try. We arrived about 7pm on a beautiful fall Thursday. While it was lively, there were plenty of seats & we quickly found a spot at the front bar. There were three bartenders on the moderately busy bar ( we'd soon learn why so many... ) They were fairly attentively though not very friendly, personable or welcoming at all. Our questions were generally answered with monosylabilic grunts. Looking for a light snack, we ordered smoked wings & shrimp tacos. The food arrived quickly in paperboard take out containers. Actually, everything we were given was disposable ( more to come about that too... ) The food was fine. Standard barfare, well prepared and tasty. Our only disappointment was, while the wings were good, there was absolutely no indication that the 'Smoked Wings' had been smoked. They were standard, fried wings. As we sat as the bar, we watched rideshare after rideshare dumping out carload after carload of college kids. The place quickly filled up and, by the time we finished our food, it had become rauchously loud & crowded. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Little did we know, apparently Thurday is a huge college party night there. Just a heads up. Definitely not our jam. One final observation - this place generates an incredible amount I trash. We have become very conscious of the waste we produce and its impact. Absolutely everything is disposable here. And, it all goes in the same trash - no composting, no recycling- we watched it all get shoveled right into the same trash bins to head to our very rapidly filling state landfill. A REALLY solid addition to the Narragansett food scene! Quick rundown: two bars, six food stalls to choose from (something for everyone) plus ice cream, a ton of outdoor seating, a few games like cornhole, and free valet parking (or free street parking). What I liked: - I mean, I love a food hall! This place truly had something for everyone, even though it's small: one seafood, one Mexican, one deli, one ramen, one pizza, and one barbecue. Anyone could find at least one thing they would eat - Lots of outdoor seating, with really cool (reservable) booths with fire pits - Every kiosk allows you to order from every food stall, and you can combine food stalls in one order. To me, this is a game changer. It SUCKS waiting on a long line for just for one stall, and this completely eliminates that problem - Food is ready FAST. It was completely packed when we went, we ordered from multiple stalls, and all of our food was ready for pickup in under ten minutes - Just get a pizza from Vinny's. Super light and crispy What I didn't like: - Wish I had known the booths with fire pits were reservable (that was my bad for not looking) - Unfortunately, the food isn't great (with the exception of Vinny's). It's good, perfectly fine, but it's expensive and nothing really stood out in a good way (again, except for Vinny's). The pork tonkotsu ramen in particular was disappointing, the broth was EXTREMELY salty, the pork slices were very fatty, the noodles were too soft. Could skip that stall for sure - Beware of the magnets on the bottom of your draft cups -- they come loose with the slightest push! What a bummer. I love food hall style restaurants and Narragansett seems like a great location for the concept, but this place is a mess. 1. First off the place was loud as hell. Live music and than radio overwhelmed the whole place. It was very hard to hear. 2. internet connection in the restaurants was poor, so all of the QA codes around the place were useless. Packing a bunch of people around the screens was a huge pain. The music didn't help. 3. Since internet connection was poor, the text messages letting us know the food was ready didnt come up at the right time. Some of our food maybe sat there for 5min before we realized it was done. 4. The food was....fine? We had a mix of things. None of it great, some of it bad. We got some mozzarella wedges, most of the cheese had come out, leaving us with wedges of breading. The roman was pretty bad. The noodles were awful and the hard boiled egg was cold and unseasoned. Burger was aggressive mid. fries were under seasoned. read more

If I could stay home and cook BBQ, pizza, or Mexican food - 10 out of 10 times I'm choosing my version. BUT - on vacation - quick lunch - the nachos are very good with pulled chicken. Pizza is inedible but for little kids - they might want it anyhow. Ice cream not worth trying when there are homemade ice cream shops nearby. The gang and I have been renting a beach house for many years down in south county. We have our favorite spots that we always like to frequent and now we can add this place to the list. There are numerous pros: the appy hour, live music all week, buck a shuck, full bar, and so on. But what I really want to tell you about is the bathrooms...A good bathroom can go a long way and these bathrooms are 10/10. From cleanliness to the speaker systems, there's so much to like here; could spend an hr in there! The only con of the outing was the parking ticket we received from parking across the street next to the park. I only mention this so that someone else doesn't make that same mistake. Came here for the first time on a football Sunday, they have massive TV's with all the games on! The cocktails and beer were delicious, you can sit at a bar if there is an open seat or one of the tables located inside and outside. If you sit at a table you order your drink at the bar. We had a chance to try lunch and came back twice during our stay for cocktails and live music (we loved the mini mudslides--the best mudslide in RI imho). The raw bar was great (even had buck-a-shuck), BBQ was impressive, and the Lobster Roll (w/ lemon curd aioli ) was fantastic & surprisingly affordable at around $20.
