We're from out of town but went with local family to take advantage of the kids deal. They were out of the chicken, cod, turkey, and dairy free chocolate that they'd use to make a chocolate shake with and it was maybe 6:30pm on a Tuesday. The food came a bit slower than I'd expected but it sounds like that's not normally the experience. The strawberry dairy free shake was delicious, though! Klimon brand ice cream, we'll be looking for that in the stores. We were told the fries have gluten in them so we didn't get as many of those as we would've liked to, but that was OK because they were dry and bland with little flavor. I had a dry burger that had no flavor to the patty, but the gluten free bun was good. Others in our party enjoyed their burgers so I don't know if their patties were better or if it was just the fact that they had some more dressing on theirs instead of just the ketchup I had. I ordered me a side of Fred's with a Dairy Free cookies n creme shake and this meal was so delicious!!!! The turkey burger was juicy and was a joy to eat. The fries added the perfect little saltiness and is the perfect companion to eat a burger with. But the cookies n crème milkshake really sold it for me, it was thick and creamy and a good way to wash down the food I ate. We visited Burger Lounge in Santa Monica on 06/08/2025 at about 2:30PM. This was my first time at this location. We had an overall enjoyable experience. I had the Crispy Queso Hatch Chili Burger, which was awesome. It was so enjoyable. I also shared a side of onion rings with someone. The food was fantastic and the service was fast. They did keep forgetting to bring us things, after they asked. For example, upon delivering the food, they asked if we needed anything else (ex: missing fork for the person who got a salad) and then she forgot to bring it. It wasn't even busy. But, as for me, I enjoyed by burger and rings along with the Hibuscus Lemonade. Wow. I just finished my lunch and had to come on here to brag about how amazing it was. I'm a vegetarian and always looking for a good veggie burger. I don't do Impossible or Beyond Meat because I don't like meat flavors and genuinely enjoy a creative veggie patty. I was Yelping around to find a good local veggie burger and landed on this. We saw the huge poster advertising the truffle Swiss burger and had to try it. This burger was piled high. The bun was a bit dry, but the crispy edge and very flavorful patty made up for it. Arugula, truffle and swiss make an excellent combo. It costs $12.95. Kids lounge meal was a bit small but kids always like the ice cream treat that comes with it. So we called around to the locations that were near and asked if they could accommodate a party of 20 with kids included. This was of one out of two places that didn't have a long wait time. They told us they would be able to put some tables together and we could all sit together. The other option at the other restaurant was to place a few tables close together, they didn't have room to place us all together. We ended up showing up within 3 minutes and the tables were ready for us. There wasn't anyone seated inside so that was great. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was a bit hectic with the kids but the staff were really patient. Food came out in a reasonable time and prices were a little bit more than what some of the parents wanted to pay. I love this place and come here every week. They have had the lamb burger on special for July and August and it's amazing, my favorite. When I order protein style with no bun they know how to give plenty Q lettuce unlike most other protein style burgers I've ordered elsewhere.
