Second time to eat here and it was great both times. Servers and staff are friendly. The food is fresh and tasty. The sliders are perfect if you're not too hungry and the burgers are more than enough. If you're not a fan of Old Bay seasoning or don't like a lot of salt I would steer away from the crab dip. We visited the Mount Juliet location. The restaurant is casual yet upscale trendy. We both ordered burgers - one black and blue burger and one burger republic burger, both with tots. First, the tots - they were flavorful but were barely warm when they arrived at our table. They were out of the Cajun seasoning for the black and blue burger, but it was still good - very flavorful and juicy. I recommend the pretzel bun. The republic burger arrived at the table without any the BR sauce (like 1000 island dressing). Besides that, the burger was juicy, flavorful and cooked to order. I haven't been to this place in over a year, and I doubt we will ever go back. My husband and I went there for lunch today and the first thing we noticed is that the floor in the dining area is bust your butt slick. Even the wait staff were sliding around on what I can only assume were slip grip shoes. Every table in the place was dirty. You could see crumbs sitting on the tables and chairs. We were one of the first people there so it wasn't as if they were slammed and could only do a quick wipe between table turnovers... it had to have been dirty since the night before. We ordered the Hot Tots as our appetizer and they were very good. I loved the blue cheese sauce with them especially, but after that the meal went downhill fast. Both my husbands and mine's burgers were under seasoned. My burger had grilled peppers on it and there was no salt on them or my meat. There was hardly any sauce on my burger and the sweet potato tots I got as a side were terrible as well. They weren't tots. It was like they boiled and mashed sweet potatoes, rolled them into balls and touched them in too hot oil. The wait staff also barely checked up on us. Only coming after we'd finished our meal and was waiting for the check to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. Save yourself the trouble, go literally anywhere else for a burger. The McDonalds across from Publix is better and they don't charge over 40 dollars for two people to eat. read more

First time here, the food was great and our server/bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. She offered great suggestions and was helpful with our customizations. They were out of quite a few beers (like 8 or so) but she knew which ones and let us know the deliveries were off schedule due to the holidays. All and all it was a great experience. After living in Nashville for a year and a half, I FINALLY tried Burger Republic. And after hearing everyone hype it up for 18 months, I actually went there and ate a burger--and found out everyone was right. Holy hot damn is it a good burger. Everything tastes of high quality from the beef to the toppings to the bread. And I would say that their fries are some of the best I've had anywhere. Not too crunchy, not soggy, well seasoned, and still fluffy on the inside. My bf got the homemade veggie patty and said it was amazing. They have a pretty big selection of specialty burgers and now that I've had one, I really want to try every single one because you just get that feeling like everything there is going to be awesome. Unique burger creations with your choice of beef, chicken, turkey, or veggie offer options for everyone......except vegans. I had the "96" burger on a pretzel bun and a side salad with ranch. The burger had a perfect ratio of blue cheese to meat. The pretzel bun was a tad dry, and the crispy onion strings were not crispy. Overall, I was happy though. I mention the salad because the RANCH dressing was the best I've ever tasted. (I swear I'm not crazy) I almost asked for a jug of it to take home. My only complaint was my half tea half lemonade beverage. It tasted like Lipton lemon ice tea mix. That's my mistake. Should've stuck with the specialty shakes. Can't wait to try again! read more

I went to Burger Republic for the first time with my wife. The service was great and the restaurant has a very open and sunny design, but I did not enjoy my food for the price. My burger was cooked exactly right, but the tomato was withered like it had not been kept properly cold after cutting, and the pickles smelled strange. At $39.90 for two meals, I wouldn't recommend going here for a quality simple burger, but if you can catch them with fresh ingredients, I might say try a specialty burger. read more

Went for lunch on Sunday. Busy place but the wait was only about 20 minutes. The restaurant is noisy so don't expect a quite meal. On the positive side, the food is very good. All of our orders came out hot and tasty. The Tennessee Burger is their local signature item, and it did not disappoint. The fries and tater tots were both excellent. I like the way they text you when your table is ready. The ability to check your status on the wait list is an added plus. Last time we came here about 3 weeks ago and couldn't get a seat (since it was brand new). Food tonight was yummy. My husband ordered The Fenway with Tater Tots and I had The Burger Republic with fries. We would have given 5 stars but they were out of sweet potato tots and my burger was just a tad too greasy.
