Soggy buns, Frozen fries and under cooked beef for 12.50. With all the burger places in the area theory needs to up their game.

We were one of two tables and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The burgers were very dry and not very good.

Epic fail! This place won't last long unless they get their crap together! All the other reviews are spot on. Poor waiting staff and service. Food mediocre. There is better burger options out there in Idaho Falls. In the end I blame horrible management and too eager to open! I might be back but the likelihood is very slim. read more

I rarely leave reviews but our dinner was the biggest waist of money. We ordered 2 trio samplers, with 6 different burger flavors and after waiting nearly an hour, we got 2 of the same flavors and none that we ordered.. we waited with empty drinks for more than 15 minutes. the restaurant was NOT full, The service just down right sucked. read more

It's ok. The burger is kind of good, nothing I haven't had before, but its so dang expensive! $14.95 at least for a burger. Doesn't even include fries!! Just finished my first order ever from Burger Theory They CRUSHED IT.....The Philly and Buffalo Wings Was awesome. Even had it door dashed and was hot after 15 transportation time. Great Food. More like 2.5 stars. Good in theory bad in practical application. Our experience started well enough. It's immaculate in the restaurant. It should be, it's new. The employees were friendly. Our waiter, Drew was great and a fun guy. We went on 8/18 so they have been open for several weeks. The fries were not cooked well at all. They were under cooked. My friends got the onion rings and they said they were good. The burgers definitely weren't anything special. They needed more sauce. My second glass of water had such a strong chemical taste that I couldn't drink it. All in all it wasn't the best experience. They're no different from any other place. First time having dinner here and it was delicious! Service for our large group was outstanding and Matt took excellent care of all of us. The build your own burger was delicious with roasted garlic mayo and their fries had lots of seasoning, which I love. I overlooked that they have sweet potatoes fries on the menu and look forward to going back another time to order them. Yummy food! read more

2nd trip to Burger Theory in the past 4 months. Not ashamed to say this is my new "go to" restaurant in Idaho Falls! We started off with Nacho Fries and they did their job of whetting our appetites for what was to come (oh my goodness, they are FANTASTIC)-- I ordered my very own burger--Burger Theory lets me put together the pieces and parts I prefer--and it was, again, juicy and flavorful and cooked to my specifications. My daughter-in-law ordered The Lonestar and was pleased as anything. My son ordered the Crispy Fish Sandwich and was thrilled that it was advertised--both crispy and moist. And flavorful. (personally, I would never order fish, so I have to take his word on this one!) For those of you wondering why they don't have "more" burger options, they do. They are simply asking you to put it together the way YOU want your burger. Your "theory" of the way a burger should be. And, if you're really, really, REALLY lucky....you will get Skyy as your server. This gal rocks. read more

Terrible service. Only three tables occupied when we arrived. We only saw our server when we ordered and when our food was delivered. That goes for any server. I'm guessing they hang out behind closed doors because no one was to be seen once we got our food. The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because the food was good. read more

Once again Burger Theory delivered! Well we actually dined in but they delivered on delicious food and good service! We were gonna eat at Red Robin but they dropped the ball! They wouldn't allow a person with a medical exemption to enter the restaurant and they wouldn't honor an annual tradition for buying a gift card for $25 and getting $5 free. Juicy burgers, cooked to your liking, with a cool build-your-own option. Fries and onion rings were good and not too salty. It's a bit pricey for a burger but that's also more standard these days with inflation. They also have a nice breakfast menu, which we will have to try. Service was great too. read more

Stating the date your place an awesome first place in Idaho Falls It started out with us waiting for the hostess and when she came up to us she answered the phone and proceeded to talk to that person for a little bit and then she asked us if we would like to sit in the front or in the back and we didn't care but it looks less busy in the back the restaurant was 2/3 full possibly. The hostess brought us our drinks which was nice. We then waited probably 20 to 30 minutes for someone to take our order the waitress that came up to us stated I guess I'll take your order since no one else is. Our food came and it was OK it was definitely not the best burger we've ever had. Our server asked if we would like a refill and my husband would like one. We didn't see the server for a next 30 to 40 minutes we then asked the hostess if she could please bring our check. The hostess asked if there's any way they could improve their service. It was very disheartening to see other servers in the corner laughing and drinking and not paying attention to their customers. We never got the refill that my husband asked for. The server did say can I bring you a to go cup since I forgot it but no. But no restaurant hamburger place should take a hour and 30 minutes to eat a subpar burger. We will not be back read more

Our family eat at Burger Theory while staying at the connecting hotel. My husband raved about his Farm Fresh Burger while I chowed down my delicious Philly Burger. Food and service was great. I would come back again, maybe enjoy the bar next time. read more

Went there on saturday my son got the Philly burger . He said the burger had good flavor but the lack of toppings hardly made it a Philly burger. My other son got the sliders he said they were o.k. at best. I got fish tacos the fish had good flavor but the sauce had sour cream in it not mayo. My wife got a chicken club sandwich that was still raw so we sent it back for a nacho with no meat and it still took 18 minutes to get that nacho. The waitress was friendly and kept our waters full. Best part of the meal. I feel like I threw away $50. Worst part is we stopped at McDonald's on our way back home because not one of us was satisfied. We went to Burger Theory tonight and I am really disappointed with the staff. We were seated right away but we did not see our server for several minutes. We were ready to just order everything drinks, starter, entrees but he wouldn't take our order. He just got our drinks. Our server finally came back to our table and we wanted to order. We put in an order for the pretzel sticks and we wanted to order our food but he said no. He wanted our starter to come out before our food. HE DISAPPEARED. We didn't see him for the longest time. Our pretzels came out and we ate them and then waited 15-20 minutes to order our food. We had already been in the restaurant for an hour at this time. I had to yell at him to come take our order and ask for refills. It isn't like he had several tables. It wasn't super busy. This makes me very frustrated because the food was really good. That is why I gave 2 stars. However, the staff and the service they provide will deter me from going back anytime soon. I understand that business are understaffed but it is hard to excuse this behavior when they walk past your table and don't acknowledge that I have signaled for their attention and then they visit with their work mates at the bar read more

Skip their breakfast! Waited 30 minutes for eggs and potatoes and there were only two other tables seated. The $10 Omelette was thin and tasteless, potatoes lukewarm. Nice server, but that's it. So let me start off by saying that the food was fantastic and they had great drinks. The reason for such a low review was the fact that during a pandemic many of the staff were refusing to wear masks or even wash there hands. There is a mandate in Idaho falls for masks yet when we asked about it they stated "it's Idaho, we don't have Covid19 here" in fact they joked about the whole thing and the bar manager flat out refused (bad example to show your employees). I don't know what everyone else is talking about. This place was amazing! We went to dinner on Friday, we expected it to be busy, which it was. We had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Which is expected on a Friday at any restaurant in Idaho Falls. Once we got seated our server Skylee was amazing. She was so attentive and professional. We waited no more than 20 mins to get our food after we ordered. The food came out nice and hot and was cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanted a gourmet burger and I'll definitely be back really soon! read more

I have lived in Idaho falls for 2 years now and have driven past the burger theory sign every day on my way to work and decided to try it today on my 1 hour lunch break. i give the food 5 stars but my group of 4 stood at the front where the greeter should be for at least 10 minutes before we came to the conclusion that we needed to seat our selves and then waited another 10 minutes to be acknowledge and then after ordering almost 40 before getting our food. The waitress showed little courtesy and only took our drink orders and food orders and then brought our food. We had to stop her and ask for refills on our drinks. to note as well the restaurant was at maybe 1/4 capacity on a Friday afternoon. Will not likely return due to the lack of hospitality. read more

When I called I was told the grilled onions are stuffed into the patty and there was nothing they could do. Would not have ordered if I had known they couldn't make a regular burger.
