Exceptional service, amazing food, very reasonable prices in a 'down home' atmosphere. You'll be treated like family by courteous servers and be well fed. Who can ask for more?

Back again. Had the corned beef hash and over easy eggs with a waffle. Place was packed and received my order within 5 minutes. This place never disappoints me, service and food is always spot on.

Our server was wonderful! She was sweet, efficient and very attentive to detail. Answered all my questions with patience and grace. I had pancakes which were perfect! Fluffy and delicious! BUT-they don't serve real butter or real maple syrup. They serve a butter blend and cheap syrup. Ugh! My husband had the cheese sticks and the cod dinner. The fries were coated with something that held the dirty grease taste. He said the fish was fine but not great. It seemed like everything came off the back of a SYSCO truck. I think the breakfast would be better than the dinner. But that's just speculation. The atmosphere was dated and janky in many ways. Like a step back in time. The toilet stalls are too small. I hate having to brush up against the bowl just to get in the stall. Over all-not great but I've had worse. Our waitress was the best part of our experience! Didn't catch her name-wish I had.

I saw an order of biscuits and gravy and was shocked at how big their portions were. Before I sat down, I knew this was something I wanted to order. After spending a few minutes on the menu, I quickly changed my mind and went for the chicken fried steak. I wanted the biscuit and gravy as an additional side as a half portion. The server let me know that what they're bringing out is the only portion (which was really big). The locals who sat by us at the bar let us know that the biscuit I keep seeing used to be the half portion! I can't imagine how anyone can finish it unless the whole family is sharing it. The environment is very busy and friendly. Although it's located across the street from a motel 6, there's tons of locals that stop by where the servers know them by name. The locals I mentioned earlier, the wife met her husband here while she was waiting tables. They been going there for over 30 years. The husband treats this diner as his "bar" since all of his friends are here. Such a friendly place to stop by if you need a pit stop and friendly faces. I ordered the country fried steak and it's amazing!!!! The breading was light and the gravy was thick! I'm weird, but I like to also dip this in ranch. Pancakes were huge and fluffy even after being drowned in syrup. My boyfriend ordered the ham breakfast and he loved it. He normally gets the corned beef and hash, but realized it came from a can. It's one of their best sellers on the menu, but he passed. The ham really filled him up and he did prefer my dish instead.

Food quality is good for a coffee shop .... Service is horribly slow... waiting over 45 minutes for breakfast food is unacceptable in my opinion... empty glasses and coffee cups all breakfast long.

Great food and service at O'brady's. Stopped in with the family for breakfast. Ate at the counter. Joint was hopping. I enjoyed the sirloin and Swiss omelet. It was served with hash browns. So yummy. I also ordered a warm biscuit in the side. Check them out. Open daily from 7-3

I like this restaurant, big portions and friendly staff. I just can't tell when they will be open. was there again this week and wanted breakfast Tuesday morning. No one there at 7am or 8am. I an not sure when they are open and not open. Last month they were open in the evening, but were full at 630pm and I had to skip...

You definitely get a lot of food for your money! Cute, well-maintained café. Interior could definitely use an update, but very clean and all of the staff is extremely friendly. The quality for the steak was surprisingly good. Very thick and tender, little fat at all and extremely juicy. The Childrens plate was a bit disappointing with the facts that the " steak" ground chuck patty, was covered in salt and pepper. It was extremely overwhelming and of course kid would not eat it, I couldn't even eat it.

Great local spot to go to at an easy to find location. Food was homemade and not complaints here. Not sure if I'll be passing through the area again but if so I'll remember to stop here.

Stopped in on our way through, and it was very pleasant place to eat. The place was busy and we still had very good service. They where quick to get us menus and our drinks. The atmosphere was so nice and made you feel at home. The food was amazing the chicken fried steak and eggs was mouth watering and very filling. We also ordered a Ruben burger. Was also amazing according to my co worker. Price was reasonable and I would go back when I'm passing through.

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

Original: My review for this place is not current. I had a…read morepretty bad experience here a few years back so we will never go again. WHAT HAPPENED: When they're busy, they don't have enough servers on. This was something we had already been warned about, and got to witness first hand. Also, without informing us, they charge for soda refills! Seems the server was padding the check, thanks to two teenagers with us, and they drink soda. I had a couple of beers that I expected to be charged for, but my other half's coffee refills?, mann come-on. The place is overly priced to begin with, the food was not fantastic. They were riding on their legacy name. Surviving by tourist seasons of the unsuspecting. I gave it two stars because the food wasn't bad. I can say that the experience was not worth the bill. I did see the prices before we ordered and did not hesitate. However, those prices raised my expectations. To top it all, the atmosphere is dark and cramped. Never again! It might seem petty to not give a second chance if you think that only the bill is the reason. The lack of transparency, price to quality, and shoddy service combined. I think there are equally if not better restaurants in Idaho Falls. It's not worth the price here. UPDATE: with a vengeance! Mitch and Justin at The SnakeBite showed me just how much things can change under new management/ownership. My first review stated that it was a couple of years ago, lol Mitch helped me sort out the timeline, and it was actually close to 6 years ago. Guess I'm a little out of the loop, because I was informed that 100Proof Hospitality bought the restaurant about 4 years ago, long after I had sworn the place off forever. I know some might not appreciate an old experience popping up like brand new in a review. I get that in hindsight, but these new owners didn't flinch, and they are savvy--I tell you that. They turned someone (me) who would've never returned, into their regular customer. To start, the two teens have grown, it was only the two of us, which didn't matter because they no longer charge for refills under the new ownership. We were hosted by..well, a young man who was a little less than personable. He wasn't bad, typical in fact, but after experiencing the management and our server--the rest of the team outshines him a bit. It was late lunch, so they were still busy, but had enough open seating for the two of us. Laney--our server, is the coolest lady to ever walk the planet. She was hustling, laughing, smiling and talking with everybody. Just magnificent ambiance. She handled my undecidedness in style, answering every single one of my questions with complete honesty. "So if I put pepperjack on this, will it ruin the flavor of the cheese sauce." Direct eye contact, slowly nodding with a cringing look, "yeahhh probably." Great pallet to boot cuz she was so right. The Blue SnakeBite Burger--mann that sauce!, is what "zesty blue" is all about! I also got a Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. I hope I remember this exactly, but it's basically a spinach and artichoke dippy sauce stuffed inside of two very large portobello crowns, a fantastic drizzle and roasted red peppers on top! I would eat those every meal for the rest of my life! My other half got the Haddock with Waffle Fries, added Coconut Shrimp and Salad. She was too busy eating to tell me what she thought lol--loved it all. We sat, had met the dazzling Laney( who can bring people back all herself) ordered, and--get this--I ordered through Laney, a beer from the bar. The bar shortly later poured the wrong beer (think person ordered wrong), which was the same draft that I ordered. So over to our table comes the smiling and booming bartender with the beer out stretched to me, "You want a free beer"--well, yeah. The kicker: Nobody knew yet, including management, we were the "2nd look" couple. SnakeBite and 100Proof Hospitality, unknowingly pulled off a mic drop. Prices slightly higher than chains, and worth every cent! We will be back. So should you!

It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. The prime rib was flavorful and juicy, and the baked potato was hearty and satisfying--the ultimate classic meat-and-potatoes meal.
