    Classic Burger and Fries

Went after a concert and this burger spot is open late. It was surprisingly pretty crowded and had to wait a bit for food to be ready. The burger was okay, but the fries were so good and have the perfect crispy texture. It is kind of pricey for what it is.

Hot, fresh, delicious!! These burgers you can tell are made with quality beef and toppings. They also had beef bacon that was delicious. This is not "fast food " so do not expect to get your order in a couple minutes. When we went it was packed and they have limited seating. It took about 20-25 minutes for the food however the service was great and friendly. Would 100% return!

I am in Tampa for business and the hotel I'm staying at, their restaurant is closed so I hit the burger vault. Excellent burgers and fries. Really delicious. Staff super friendly. Highly recommend!

The burger was gluttonous heaven! Super yummy my favorite part was definitely the Big Mac-esque sauce and the double fried fries were so good. I will say as someone who is a bit lactose intolerant the shit was hurting me tummy the next morning but if you're more resilient then I, definitely try it since the beef was juicy too! If hearty food is the mood then this is good!

I randomly popped into Burger Vault before heading to Hard Rock and then the amphitheater for a concert. Plenty of free parking in this little strip mall. The restaurant is a little on the small side. Luckily, it was a slow and rainy afternoon, so we were able to find seating. The staff was really nice and took our order immediately. The digital menu is nice and clear. Everything was freshly-made. They had Dude Wipes on the tables, which was very appreciated. The Goods: 1) Egg Bacon Beef Burger Combo ($18.99- includes a drink and seasoned fries)- I need to start with the fries. These are the fries I dream of all of the nights that I'm truly craving fries. It has the perfect crunch with a softer middle with the perfect cajun seasoning (think of a perfected fry from Checkers). These were truly the star of the show. It was love from the first crunch. The burger- first off, it was a very tasty burger. Some mentioned it's a halal burger. Overall, it was yummy with a nice seasoning, and I do recommend it. I LOVED the bun- it was really delicious. The shortcomings on my burger were this: I was really craving caramelized onions, but I felt like my burger had hardly any onions at all, and they certainly weren't caramelized. Also, the burger itself was OVER well-done. I understand not giving customers a choice on the level of doneness, and cooking it well-done... but this burger was very, very, very cooked. The seasoning on the burger saved it, but it was still a bit too cooked for me. My mom felt the same about her burger (she also ordered the Egg Bacon). Overall, my visit to Burger Vault was enjoyable. I would definitely stop by again for at least the fries and kind service.

It was Friday night and my plans for dinner fell through so, I needed some food and I was really craving a burger. Naturally, I hopped on Yelp and got to looking. I stumbled across Burger Vault and saw that it was 4.7/5 on Yelp and 4.9/5 on the other popular review site so, my mind was made. Upon arrival, what I found was a small, hole-in-the wall restaurant with, what appeared like, just two guys holding it down. I checked out the menu ahead of time so, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but, my dad now also wanted something brought back. I ordered what I wanted, the "Mozza Melt", and ordered my dad the "Mushroom Magic" burger. I saw that they had shakes so, I decided to spoil myself and got the "Ferrero Rocher" - we also got fried mozzarella. All in all, it took somewhere around 15 minutes for the food to be handed to me, not bad, seeing as it was all cooked from scratch right in front of me, across the counter. The price for it all was $54.74 which, I'll admit, is a bit more than I'm really looking to pay for two people at a burger joint but, does the flavor justify the price? It does if you're looking to treat yourself. I got home and we got right to town on these burgers which, as advertised, feature 5.3 oz patties - not bad! The flavor was rich, between the fried mozzarella in the sandwich and the umami flavor (arguably the best part of the burger) from the mushroom sauce and mushrooms, I was happy. As always, asked for no vegetables on my burger so, I can't comment on the quality of their vegetables but, this was a damn good burger! As for the shake, I had about half of it - it was delicious, but rich - and gave the other half to my dad. The fried mozzarella was plenty, shared between me and my dad as well. To sum this review up, though the food is a bit pricey (in my opinion), it's worth indulging at least once!

The big plus is they are halal which is great as there aren't many halal burger places in Tampa. It's a good burger truthfully, however personally, I felt it needed a little more flavor (or even some heat). The fries do have a nice crisp to them and the drinks selection was good (sodas, juices, sparkling water). Service was great and we got our food in about 10-15 min after ordering. Seating is available inside and outside.

The food was really great. My friends and I were looking for somewhere to eat locally. I was glad we did. This place cooks front of you , so you could see how they were cooking your food. Service was good, friendly guy greeted us. The restaurant is small but it didn't have that frying smell, which I appreciate it. My burger was cook prefect but they forgot to take an item off , when I ask in the beginning. I would have gave them 5 starts but the restroom was not clean so that threw me off . Since there was only one. I would come back her to get burgers to go.

What an amazing delicious halal burger experience! The vault is unlocked and it delivers! Our gracious host and owner Adam explained our options and we chose! For her, the spicy volcano burger and extra Cajun fries. For me, the safe vault burger and Cajun fries. We also selected a Ferrero Rocher shake, made with real ice cream and the chocolate confection! Our burgers were beyond fantastic, smoked live and to our taste at our table! Check out the video! We tried both maple and apple smoke! They really add to the taste! Life is great with a fun and delicious burger experience!

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

I loved the seasoning. Unfortunately my arroz con gandules didn't have that much pigeon peas in it. It was still good though. Hubby had steak & garlic chicken W/ rice & black beans, which he loved! However, when inserting my card for the reader, it said "$20". There is a lot of starch in the mofongo bowl since there is rice and plantains .It would have been nice to see a little bit of veggies in there. Others have posted pictures with a side salad with their mofongo. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? Overall: a very good Boricua restaurant in temple terrace.
