Our group of 8 stopped by for lunch. A table was leaving so we waited inside at 3 separate tables…read moreuntil we could all sit together. In the meantime, they served us a round of drinks. They had room on the patio but we wanted the air conditioning. The June specials menu looked awesome. The monthly soup is cauliflower. I had the cucumber sandwich (the cool cuke?) and asked for it toasted. Choice of side was chips, coleslaw, potato salad, etc. I had potato salad/ it was good- a little bacon in it and perfectly seasoned. My sando came out toasted but they forgot the cucumbers! Our server brought me out sliced cucumbers so I added them myself. They were a little thick. I did not know but you can ask for pickles and they're free! They dropped off a large jar of pickles. Only two of us wanted them and they toss them if you don't finish them, so I took a few home. I only ate half my sandwich. Ir was super meaty. I recommend it! And the potato salad was a hearty scoop. I can't believe all of that was only $13 plus tax and tip. What a deal. Our food came out all together and didn't take forever. We sat. We ate. We charted. A good time was had! Checks came out promptly. Our group goes to this place often and I was pleasantly surprised that the server remembered some of the gal's usual drink order. Amazing! Great place for lunch! Sandwich was awesome. I will be back.

The food includes a lot of simple, staple salads and sandwiches, and the salads always hit home for me. Today I got the Legend (their version of an Italian sub) for the first time, and it might be my new favorite there! Very good, not too much or too little meat, but good value. The free pickles they give you to start are another highlight - they are always tasty and the perfect way to start lunch! I'll certainly be back to sit on their airy patio and appreciate the casual, nice service.

I was given a time it would be ready, but unfortunately had to wait almost another 20 minutes than originally given. The store front looked cute and had several tables inside and outside to sit at and eat. As for the food, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and an antipasta salad. The antipasta salad was delicious. It was packed with lots of meat and I enjoyed the dressing. The garlic knots were PACKES with garlic. So much garlic that yes, it will fill your car, your fridge, and you may also smell like garlic. They were cooked great. As for the pepperoni pizza, it was just okay. It did have a good amount of pepperonis on it, but the pizza as a whole just lacked flavor. It was a bit bland. Also the bottom of the pizza needed to cook a bit more. I will come back but I think the antipasta and knots will be my go to.

We had the house red wine for only $6 a glass. It was very good. We also ordered a homemade cannoli to take home. No doubt it will be perfection. The cashier warned us the mac and cheese was not the best that day, so that was appreciated. He stated it was less saucy than normal and even offered to show us the look of it. We ended up ordering it still for the experience, but it could've used a little more sauce/cheese. For our second side, we got the cornbread, but it was just okay, a little dry in some parts. They also were out of a few meats, which was reasonable since we came near the end of day. We substituted the turkey for the triple que which was a mix meat combo including the rib meat. The triple que was nice that it came already sauced, and it was my favorite of the meats. The brisket was a bit dry, but the tables have four sauces from which you can choose. It was disappointing that the city sampler states that brisket is included, but we had to pay $3.20 extra for it, especially since it was just okay. The tables were nice and clean and had plenty of napkins.
