Parking can be a little tricky but we came in by the entrance closer to Costco and found a spot at the side. There was a line when we walked in but it went quick. My husband & I got the single Burgerfi Cheeseburger but my husband added pickles, onions, ketchup & mustard on his with a side of jalapeños which he ended up not eating because they were fresh rather than jar which meant that they had more heat. It amazes me that no matter what time of the day you get there, their buns are always so soft! Although I could see the Burgerfi sauce, I couldn't taste it but my burger was really fresh. We also ordered a side of Cry+Fry which is half onion rings & half french fries. Their onion rings are always very crispy and delicious. Because they had been slammed, the few tables that were empty had grease stains. We asked a worker if they had a rag so we could clean the table and they happily came out and wiped it down. As a college student, having a nice burger place near campus is a great benefit. I have visited here a few times and have tried both the vegetarian burgers along with the fries and milkshake. There is also a student discount, which is a plus point for this place! I have tried both the Beyond burger and the VegeFi burger and would definitely recommend both items! I would say the VegeFi burger is a bit better as the flavor of that burger patty was more seasoned. I got the seasoned fries as well as the oreo cookie milkshake and both were amazing. The fries were crispy and warm and I would definitely recommend adding them to your meal. If you are feeling something sweet add the shake as well! The location was a bit dirty and it was hard to throw away my food after I was done as the trash bins were full so cleaniless was a little bit off and that is why I took a star off. Burger Fi has a special place in my heart since I have been to its first location many times. Burger Fi is a fast casual hamburger chain that also serves beer and wine. The first restaurant opened in 2011 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in a former Burger King. They have now grown into 106 restaurants in 20 states and internationally. I don't often eat a burger but when I do I like it to be from Burger Fi. The Consumers Union gave them an A for their policy of using angus beef raised without antibiotics. If you don't eat meat no worries. In 2017 Burger Fi partnered with Beyond Meat to offer the Beyond Burger made from plants that bleeds beet juice. A new menu item that I saw offered on this visit was chicken tenders. That is a welcome addition since they didn't have any chicken options before. If I have someone to share with I get the cry and fries, giant onion rings with hand cut fries. The portion is gigantic. Since I was by myself I just got the smaller order of fries. This restaurant is located in the Tower Shops in Davie. There is a lot of competition with a number of restaurants around. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to let you know when to pick up your food. While you wait you can try an endless assortment of soft drinks from their Coke Fresstyle machine. If you want dessert they have frozen custard called concretes that you can have with assorted toppings. Seating at this restaurant is both indoors and outside. While waiting for my food I had a little trouble finding somewhere to sit. Tables needed to be wiped off and some other parts of the restaurant could have used a cleaning. 1 Went to pay. She said it will ask for tip. I was thinking for my take out order??? There was no place to say no tip. I thought I hit other, but nope it added 20%. I couldn't believe there was even an option for 20% as if you were having actual table service. That is out of integrity. 2. I was waiting. The guy ahead of got his order took it out to his car. The woman who waited on me had a discussion with the other guy. They ran out got the bag from that guy. Then, she walks over to me and says here is your order from the guy who was in his car. You know that guy was in there for at least a minute and had his hands all over my fries. I couldn't believe it. I took the bag ate the burger and dumped the fries. Got all that and paid a 20% tip. Its out of integrity to ask for tip for take out much less a table service type tip. Put a box up for tips and people can to it if they felt the service was even worth a tip. Restaurants we dont tip until after the service is rendered. Is it even within health codes to retrieve someone's order once they have and it in their car for long enough to eat part of it? The chocolate milk shake doesn't taste diluted or cheap, very smooth and chocolately. Fries looked great (natural, freshly cut potatoes) but appeared soggy, practically tasteless and limpy. The burger seemed almost an afterthought in the generously sized and fresh tasting bun with delicious addons. I get it that prices have not gone up a lot but I still want to taste the protein - same goes for the VegeFi. I would to be able to give a better rating next time. The parking lot had sufficient parking, outdoor tables could use a thorough cleaning it seems. Sometimes you just want a good tasty burger and fries! Since Shake Shack is not in my neighborhood, our best option for this indulgence is BurgerFi. I have not been to any other location but in Davie the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Plus, I always see the staff replenishing items and busing tables. The burgers are tasty but small (bigger than Crystal/White Castle but still small). Anyone with a wisp of an appetite will need to eat two patties. You can choose from the burgers on the menu or make your own from the wide variety of toppings. Everyone in my family has their favorite. Husband's favorite is the Breakfast All Day Burger with American Cheese, Bacon, Maple Syrup, Hash Browns, & Grilled Onions. 12 year old loves "The CEO" with its Double Waygu & Brisket Burger, candied bacon & tomato jam, & Swiss cheese. 13 year old goes for the simple Burgerfi Cheeseburger. On this last visit I ordered the Conflicted Burger, which came with a burger and veggie burger, lettuce & tomato. The veggie burger was excellent: Crispy on the outside, mushy inside, and flavorful. I think from now on I will only be getting veggie burgers from now on. The onion rings are thick and huge, with a thick coating. The fries are not my favorite. The are served hot but have an earthy taste and are cut thick. I am more of a fan of thin cut fries. Yes, I have a secret passion for McDonald's French fries. Don't judge me.
