Couldn't believe how dirty the bathrooms and the restaurant were this morning. We were there when the restaurant first opened and the place was filthy. The garbage area and condiment station hadn't been wiped down. The floor hadn't been swept and there is filth and garbage under the condiment and drink stations. So this is my return to Burger-Fi after a fantastic Yelp event. The event gave Yelpers a chance to try out all the good food including desserts. So I can only blame Yelp and the great food I tasted at the event for my return to Burger Fi. I ordered a single burger CEO along with onion rings and a drink. ButgerFi is a regular stop for my husband and me when we are out running errands and need a little snack. We absolutely LOVE their fries! Hot, perfectly crispy and beautifully cooked, their fries are the BEST! We usually stick with their "regular" fries, but recently we were feeling wild and tried their "Truffle Fries." These fries were as perfectly cooked as their regular fries, but they had a sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top. We did not detect much "truffle" flavor, but then we realized there was a special sauce you were supposed to dip them in (this was a smidge challenging as we were in the car, but we managed!) It was the sauce that carried most of the flavor on these particular fries. We were glad to have tried them, but the "Regular Fries" remain our go-to snack! read more

After a few weeks of quarantine and only home cooking, we decided to order some food for pickup. Cue burgers! I called in my order and the lady on the phone was super helpful. I asked for one order to be bagged separately so I could porch drop it to my mother and everything else could be together. Payment was required up front and it took about 20 minutes for my food to be ready, the perfect time to get to the restaurant. Upon arrival, I found the front door open but tables blocking the way. I gave my name to the employee who brought my packaged food and placed it on the table for pickup. Everything was bagged great and their setup ensured the proper social distancing. My mom's food was porch dropped and the remainder taken home where we dug in. Everything was so good! I tried the fried chicken sandwich for the first time. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the pickles gave it a nice tang. My husband and daughter's burgers were made as requested and they ate every bite. We also got onion rings and garlic parm fried. BurgerFi was my Valentine's Day lunch choice. I had a gift card as well as my free regular fries for signing up for their Frequent Fier rewards program. I ordered the single size BurgerFi bacon cheeseburger. It doesn't come with anything on it, so I added onions, lettuce and tomato. I picked up some ketchup and mustard at the self service bar. I looked for plastic silverwear to apply my mustard, but no luck finding any. My burger was great! I could tell they use quality beef when I took my first bite. The meat, veggies and bun were all fresh. The meat was tender and juicy but not too greasy. Just how a burger should be! I also ordered regular fries which were cooked perfectly with a golden brown color. They were served nice and hot. I love that they fresh cut all their fries, never frozen. The meat is also never frozen. I was a little disappointed as I requested the truffle aioli special sauce which was never served to me. Next time if they forget I will remind them. Oh and my chocolate milkshake. I can't explain to you how delicious their custard is, you must try it for yourself! It was the thickest milkshake I have ever had which is why they serve it with a huge straw LOL. The price is a little steep for a burger as mine was $7.47. The onion rings get 5 stars all by themselves. Big, thick and crunchy! Unlike most places where I prefer the fries, I always get rings here. They have a kid corner on the patio with giant jenga and connect four. This made it easy to relax for a few minutes after dinner without the kids going nuts. As a vegetarian this is my FAVORITE burger restaurant to this date. They have beyond burgers as well as a special burgerfi burger called the "VegeFi Burger" and that is what I always order since I can get beyond a lot of places. It comes with a delicious burger fi sauce and cheese so it is not vegan but of course you can take that off and the bun itself is vegan. They have a large variety on their menu but I think one of the best things here is their Fries. They have a regular sized fry as well as a family sized. And right now they are running a special where you can get a small fry and drink with your burger for $9.99 to add cheese it's a $1 more and for that deal with the vegefi burger it is $11.99. The prices are great in my opinion and definitely affordable. For the fries they have different options of toppings you can add such as parm, cheese and many others. I always get the fries plain with a side of ranch and the aoili sauce because I like to dip. You order with a person up front or can order yourself on their large screens they have up front and they will bring the food out to you. I absolutely Love this place! I was first introduced to this place by a vegetarian friend. You can imagine my surprise, when my vegetarian friend suggested a Burger place. But soon I discovered why. This is her spot, so when we go, it's because it's her 'cravings' for burger fi. She loves this place. We ordered our sandwiches with cry and fries (onion rings and fries combo). Their fries are fresh and crispy and their onion rings are HUGE and delicious. I love how the batter has a great taste and you still get a taste of a fresh and sweet onion underneath. Also be sure to get extra sides of fi sauce. It's their version of Big Mac sauce but it's less sweet and a little more savory. It has less of that 'zing'/acidity taste, but very good. You dip everything in it. The fried, onion rings, the burger. Everything! Also, I learned recently that they had menu change and I was kiiiiinda disappointed with it. I like a straight forward burger...classic American cheese, lettuce, tomato, ( usually pickles, even tho not offered here) and a nice seasoned burger, soft bun....they hit all my spots....and they weren't greasy or overly sauced...I hate when burgers are dripping, gross! Those onion rings....perfection! They were huge and actually had big chunks of onion in there, light batter...really, really good!! I do like a sauce to dip the onion rings in and they don't offer ranch, but they do offer their custom BurgerFi sauce which was kinda a 1000 island style ( mayo, ketchup, relish thing going on) it was great and we devoured those rings! The fries are fresh cut potatoes they were hot and just out of fryer. Just the right amount of salt. Only draw back was they only have Sweet Tea in a bottle (Gold Peak). They were not very busy so probably better decision not to have fresh brewed (my preference) since it probably would have been out for a long time. Staff very friendly and courteous. That being said, the shake was really good (expect to eat it with a spoon or wait for it to melt and drink it if they're out of straws) and the burgers were delicious (hence the two stars). When I lived in NYC, it was all about Shake Shack. When I moved to LA, it was all about In-n-Out. When I was last in Jax, it was about M Shack and a couple of other places but now, it appears as though a new burger contender has moved to town - the Florida-based franchise: Burgerfi. The menu looks similar to those I've seen elsewhere - signature burgers, do-it-yourself burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and custard. So, I wondered if there would be anything that would distinguish this place from other great burger joints. As I took a closer look at the menu, I was struck by the fact that none of the signature beef burgers came with a single patty, except the breakfast burger. And, the "build-your-own" certainly isn't a good value if you get one patty. So, I got the Burgerfi burger ($5.97) with the sauce on the side because I'm not a fan of thousand island-type sauces. I also got a regular fry ($3.27) and a small sundae ($3.97). The custard options were sundaes, shakes, malts, concretes, and floats, similar to Shake Shack. But, there was no "dish" of custard. The burger, fries, and sundae totaled about $14, which was kinda pricey for a meal sans a drink. But the food was good. The burger patties were thin but well-cooked to a medium well and the small piece of lettuce and tomato slice were fresh. The fries were salted perfectly and they were soft but had a slight bite. Surprisingly, I found the Burgerfi sauce to be really tasty and I ended up putting it on the burger and dipping the fries in it! And of course, you can't go wrong with frozen custard. So, the verdict is that Burgerfi makes a good burger but it's not as good as Shake Shack and it's much more expensive than In-n-Out for essentially the same thing. With that said, the customer service was outstanding and the special sauce was excellent so I'll definitely be back. read more

Hello $15 dollar meal for a whopping 6 bucks! I'll take it! Magdiel, who's personality is larger than life, greeted me and gave a BurgerFi tour of epic proportion! We talked customizations, we talked cheeses, we talked fry options, we talked toppings... You name it, we talked it! I decided on the "breakfast all day" burger (as I'm a sucker for a fried egg on basically ANYTHING) and the parmesan fries! Omg, DELISH! I loved my burger and the fries were impressive, not greasy, and surprisingly light! While enjoying my massive lunch, Magdiel mentioned that I also had to chose a custard flavor! I was clearly stuffed, but I tried a few spoons of the vanilla. (Not really my cup of tea; more like "soft serve froyo" in taste and consistency than frozen custard, but they tried!) Burger Fi is an upscale burger restaurant which just opened a few days ago at the Markets of St. John's Town Center. They serve hormone-free, antibiotic-free burgers, as well as hot dogs, fries, onion rings (they're huge!), milkshakes, house-made frozen custard, dessert items, and craft beers and wine. They also have VegeFi burger which is a crisp quinoa burger. My son and I stopped by for lunch after church service. The place was busy. My son ordered the BurgerFi Double Cheeseburger with Hickory Bacon and paired it with regular fries. I ordered the 1/2 + 1/2 burger on their secret menu. It's a natural Angus burger topped with American cheese and a crisp quinoa burger topped with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi sauce. Their regular fries were enough for two people. Their burgers may be stacked high, but it's still a little small for me. I'm still a fan though! Friendly staff and fast service. The place was packed, but our food came out quickly.
