The wife and I are regulars for dinner. The menu has enough variety to make it interesting, and the wait staff is always clued in on what's good on any random night. It is comfort food so if you're looking for something more esoteric, try 5 points. For what it is, and what you pay, it's done very well, and portions are generous. Well this time I went to Miller LI just got to go order but I have eaten there in their bar before and it was actually pretty nice the bar was pretty fun people were laughing and talking and they had good music bars were nice the drinks were pretty good as well not too strong though. As far as my food order I had the ribs with the chicken tenders and everything was pretty good actually! I got the mango habanero flavor on my chicken tenders I would prefer it to be a little bit more spicy since it says mango habanero but it's not really that spicy. Shoutout to our local community heroes! This venue is neat because there's a large outdoor seating area along with the main indoor eating area. The patrons in both areas have their own vibe and it's a good spot to sit down with friends to chill. The menu is really nice with some classics like a giant pretzels and beer cheese to nachos and loaded cheesy fries, etc. I love the zingers - quality white meat chicken that is lightly breaded and served with any sauce on their menu. A generous portion and fun to eat! I have had their wings too. I like them both! And I have been a fan of their ice cold beers on a warm Florida day. Even with it being so busy for Sunday night football my order came out quickly and the fries were fresh out the fryer. The flatbread was not as crispy as usual but still had good flavor. The only negative is that our food took a little longer than expected and with two young kids and so we started to get a little anxious. However it all worked out. Dinner | $20-30 On 8/30 my husband ordered a dinner for 4. 2 adults and 2 kids via Ale House website. When our food was delivered I started to serve my kids first. My youngest told me the milk tasted "funny." I told him it was just a different brand but he kept complaining. I took a sip of my other son's milk only to discover that the milk was rotten. Both kids milk were beyond spoiled. I took them away from my kids immediately. I then went and opened my side of loaded fries and saw something black sticking out of the side of the container. I pulled it out and it was a large metal piece! That was it. I immediately called the Ale House. I kept being put on hold by the hostess. I told her we had just received food from Ale House that had rotten milk and a piece of metal in our food. She told me she would be getting her manager "Sean." After 15 minutes of being on hold for Sean to come I was getting more and more upset. She came on the phone apologizing but saying "they were really busy." I don't care if you're "really busy!" You have a customer with rotten drinks and metal in their food. You would think this would be a priority. Nope. In defense of her, it was football Sunday but we were sitting in the dinning room, not the bar, so she was not as busy as the other servers. My group and I felt rushed and like we were not welcomed which ruined my experience. After asking her about why we were being charged for food we didn't order she said "well it came out didn't it" then I said we didn't ask for it, to which she responded "ugh fine I'll talk to my manager." After talking to her manager she came back 10 minutes later slammed the check down and said "fries are off" and that was the last we saw her. my boyfriend and i LOVE millers. But this millers did not disappoint! This was mainly due to our server, Pooh. He was fast, energetic, and overall the best server i've ever had! I've never been disappointed with the food until I ordered pickup today I've had the 35 shrimp dinner probably 35+ times over the years. Today is probably the last time. The shrimp looked nothing like the menu picture. These where cheap versions of what the used to serve. They are mostly breading and do not have tails like the menu photo I'm sorry they have substituted out a bad version of what they have served in the past. read more

The manager was very rude, he rudely asked me to not hit my vape, which is fine but there was a much nicer way of putting it. Also no smoking signs to tell me not to anyway. Miller's offers daily specials that rotate throughout the week but they also have some every day deals for $6.99. Can't beat the price! I like to come on Wednesday's for their buffalo wing special, $8.99 for 12 wings. My other favorite is the prime rib... Thursday and Sunday only for $15.99! Delicious! read more

l went into today 4/20 for an Easter burger because I was a little sad I had no family in town this year. It was a great experience!!! Jennifer was my server and she knew all the menu and helped me pick out a perfect meal. We opted to give Miller's Ale House a go because we had a larger group and everyone had varying opinions. This seemed like the most central location and also had the most variety for everyone. Because we came on a busier night and had a larger party, we had a 45 minute wait. Ideal? No, but it was expected. While we waited we got a beer. I felt like something light so I ordered a Michelob Ultra. It was cold and hit the spot. Almost 35 minutes into our wait time, our table was ready. Score! Not having to wait the full 45 minutes is a win. We were seated and our server took our drink orders and we opted to order the kiddie meals, because they were hangry. As I've said before, hell hath no fury like a toddler who's hungry. One opted to get spaghetti and meatballs, the other opted to get mac and cheese. I started looking at the menu and was intrigued by their Zinger Mac and Cheese (mac and cheese and buffalo chicken). You may be thinking, "Carla, you've mentioned you don't like spicy." Well you're right folks, I don't like spicy, so I order my zingers mild. I also ordered a side of BBQ sauce, but in my mind, BBQ sauce is a must on top of mac and cheese. Our server was efficient and pleasant and took our orders. I ordered the Zinger Mac and Cheese. Nugget's pasta and meatballs came out and it was a pretty large portion for a kid, which was a pleasant surprise. He decided to give his meatballs to baby cousin, but ate a good majority of his pasta. My Zinger Mac and Cheese came out and looked delicious. I did a risky move and before even tasting the BBQ sauce, I opted to spread it over my mac and cheese. I like to live on the edge. Luckily for me it had good flavor and worked with the Zingers and the mac and cheese. The Zingers weren't spicy, were cooked well and paired nicely with the creamy mac and cheese. Last week was our first time visiting Miller's in Jacksonville. Hubby and I really liked the Tampa location so we knew what to expect. The food was 4/5 but the service was barely 2/5 hence the 3/5 rating. We were greeted right when we walked in and didn't have to wait at all. Once at our booth, we looked over the menu and decided very quickly what we wanted to order. Our server seemed overwhelmed but she greeted us and said she would be right back. She walked over to our booth a few minutes later. We told her we were ready to order drinks and entrees. We waited several minutes for her to bring our drinks. A short while later, a food runner dropped our food off. I ordered hot garlic zingers - little heat, little sweet. Chicken was tender and moist. They have delicious blue cheese, too. Hubby ordered the mountain melt with hot zingers - his go-to order. Chicken and fries were cooked well, good amount of bacon and cheese. Our server came by to check if we needed anything. Hubby asked her for a side of hot sauce. After waiting almost 10 minutes, I ended up having to ask a different server for hot sauce, refills and a to-go box. The manager walked by right as I finished asking for the items we needed and I explained that our server was nowhere to be found. I finished eating and packed up my leftover zingers. I saw our server a few booths down but she still hadn't come to our booth. I got up and asked the manager for our check. She was surprised our server hadn't been back to us yet. The manager brought our check and I gave her my credit card. The server was finally walking toward our booth so the manager handed her the check holder. More than 5 minutes had gone by, still no server with my credit card. I went back up to the manager to explain we were still waiting. She found the server who seemed clueless that she even had my credit card. A minute later she walked back by our booth and said "I'm gonna go jump off a bridge now but I'll be right back". I thought that was one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard from a server. After another couple minutes, she returned with my credit card. The manager came back over and asked if we wanted a pint of ice cream for our troubles and we agreed. At least they tried to make it right. I went to Miller's Ale House on Southside on Sunday night. It was pretty busy, but I got sat right away and my food came out quickly. Unfortunately, I somehow ordered the wrong sauce on my zingers. Totally my fault. I didn't even decide what I was going to do before a manager came over to check on me and see if everything was okay. I explained how I had ordered the wrong sauce, etc. Elena, the manager who came over, didn't hesitate and asked what kind of sauce I wanted. Once I told her she said no problem at all and went back to the kitchen to have my zingers remade. Since it was me who ordered the wrong thing, I probably wouldn't have said anything. But because Elena was so proactive and friendly about it, I was able to get the food I actually wanted. Elena even check back on me again to make sure everything was okay. In my experience, managers don't usually go this above and beyond. Over the previous few months, I had a couple of somewhat negative experiences at a different Miller's location. This was kind of me giving Miller's one last chance. After this really positive experience, I plan on making Miller's my main stop for football, etc. Elena left with me with such a good feeling. She also screams at the top of her lungs when her sports team Is winning. I need to see an ear doctor because of her unprofessionalism.
