We live in Duluth but found one in Lawrenceville and drove there a few weeks ago. We both absolutely loved the burger! we got the basic double cheese burger. We come here pretty frequently on the weekends because we live super close and they have the beyond veggie burger but we tried doing an online order today and our experience with the service was really frustrating. It took them 20 extra minutes to make it from when they said to be there by to pick it up, which was fine because I'm sure they're busy, but then even though my fiance had already asked about our food and was sitting at a table right next to the counter, they never let him know it was his food and that it was ready so it sat there for another 15 minutes and got cold. He asked if they could remake it but someone came out from the back and started arguing with him that the food wasn't cold and refused. The food is usually good but I definitely would not recommend ordering for pickup online or going at lunch. The people working there when we've gone for dinner at night have always been super nice but the people working during the day are rude. read more

I ordered a SWAG burger and made it a meal with Cajun fries. One of the worst meals I've ever eaten. Well, worst couple bites. I threw 80% of both burger and fries away because they were both terrible. The burger had a very sour taste. I ordered without the sweet ghost pepper sauce but the burger was still incredibly sweet, which I personally dislike. I was drawn to this burger because it looked spicy and salty (without the sweet sauce) but it had a very monotone flavor which tasted like bad meat and sugar. Not what I look for in a burger. It wouldn't have been so upsetting if it hadn't cost $20 for the one burger, fries and drink. I was told it cost $5 to make it a meal but it was close to $7 on my receipt because it cost extra to add a tiny bit of Cajun seasoning. I asked for extra but it didn't really help. Probably one of the best, juiciest burgers I've had in ages. They offer several gourmet topping burgers, but I went for a single cheeseburger and loaded it up with the free toppings I crave like grilled onions and extra pickles. The other stand-out on the menu are the onion rings. Perfectly seasoned and ginormous in size I was very pleased. You know me, I dislike reviewing a place after just one try. I've been here around 3 times now. I've had the double cheeseburger, the CEO burger and the conflicted burger. Me and my tastebuds thoroughly enjoyed all the offerings. My mom had the veggie burger, I took a bite of that and it was amazing, screw subway veggie patties from now on. Also had their float, fries and onion rings, top them with garlic aioli and Parmesan, to take them to a different time dimension. Also tried their red velvet ice cream thing. The thing I like about this place is they offer so much more than a regular burger joint. Beer, wine, different desserts, hot dogs. (will try that next time) They also prepare the veggie burger in a separate area than the beef I believe, which is awesome news for my kosher and Hindu friends. I'm a vegetarian. The pictures of the sandwich on the menu looks way better than the actual sandwich. The bread was smashed up and only 1 slice of tomato on each sandwich. Nevertheless, I like how they brand the sandwich bread with the name of the restaurant. I got the Beyond Burger, and my husband got the regular burger lettuce sandwich. Both were tasty - the prices are fairly average ($6+ per sandwich). We ate in the restaurant which has been nice and clean each time we've gone. One of the workers brought around small cups of custard for all customers dining in (that was nice - and the custard is creamy & tasty). The hand cut fries and big onion rings were good as well. I must say though, that the time we went previous to this visit, they were out of the beyond burger meat. However, the food is overpriced. My friend ordered the all day breakfast burger, and onion rings and her total came to almost 16. I ordered a CEO burger I believe? I forgot the name.. but I asked for it to be greenstyle, which replaces the buns with lettuce. I paid almost 11$ for just a burger. The good: the food is fresh, and is very tasteful. I especially love the option to include a few onion rings with my fries with the "cry + fry" because sometimes I really just want both. Every item's flavor complimented each other so tastefully. Second time I've been there. High prices but I don't mind for quality. I frequent five guys usually but went there because of the variety offered. I'm betting I won't do that again. I ordered the burger-fi cheeseburger and changed the American cheese to white cheddar(no problem). My wife however ordered the burger-fi burger with extra tomato, grilled onions and fried avocado. However, when we got home we discovered her order was actually a cheeseburger (she specifically said no cheese even when asked AND it doesn't come that way) no lettuce no tomato AT ALL (see photo). We tried to call... no answer except to place an order and got transferred to the store ( no answer Again). So I had to stop eating... drive to get her order fixed (10 min). Then go back and forth with the SAME girl that took the order that it Was messed up when all it took was one look at the picture on the order board to tell. Wait another 7-10 minutes to get it fixed. No compliments for my trouble AT all... then drive home to eat my now cold ass burger. If your reading this... don't do it!! Not worth the risk!! The CEO includes the following: Double Wagyu + Brisket Blend Burger, Homemade Candied Bacon-Tomato Jam, Truffle Aioli, and Aged Swiss Cheese. The burger tasted really good, & the meat was so flavorful. The tomato jam accompanied the burger really well because it gave the burger a sweet flavor battling the meatiness/dryness. This was my first visit to one since becoming Vegan. I ordered the Veggie burger and we split a large fry. The fries orders are huge and I am glad it was as my Veggie burger tasted excellent but was small for the price. I honestly could have had a double. Walked in love the simple concept and layout. Restaurant was very clean and is reasonably priced! I came solely because my son requested a chili cheese dog! Placed our orders with a friendly staff member, which was a easy process. The issue that I have is when I received our meals I was expecting shredded cheese considering the menu doesn't go into much detail. Our hot dogs were covered in a disgusting cheese sauce. You order their expensive burgers via UberEats, they fail to pack your overpriced vegan burger, they charge you for said burger, and when you call to let them know they screwed up and you either want a refund or your burger corrected, they say they can only do it if you come to the store. If I could come to the store in the first place, what's the point of using UberEats? Also, since the "forgotten but charged" burger was for my son, I couldn't eat because you just don't eat if your child's not eating. So a whole order gone to waste. They owe me $25! read more

When we ordered the shakes, the cashier did not know how to make the shake and proceeded to ask the cook (is there no standard ingredient menu that is used?). Not only that when the cashier did begin to make the shakes, he did not put on gloves, accidentally spilled too many sparkles on the shake and proceeded to wipe the excess off with his hands..... Looks good... but looks can be deceiving! First let's talk about those urban fries.. they're so scrumptious looking I couldn't wait to try them but was sadly disappointed fries had no salt or flavor. The "garlic aioli" was just Mayo, I didn't taste any garlic. My son usually loves stuff like this but he didn't like them and my husband tried them and wouldn't eat more than one. So... pass on those. Next let's talk sauces. I was so excited to try them! But, never got them. And nobody was around to ask for any either. I ordered a burger with onion rings. I love the fact that they let you build a burger . You can add basic things like pickles, cheese, tomato or you can add much better things like a fried egg, jalapeños and avocado . The onion rings were HUGE! We looked up a good burger place and I checked online to make sure they could handle my allergy (milk) it looked like a yes, but not in the way I wanted. This really was the trip from hell. I'm sure they're not always like this or they wouldn't be in business. I let them know my allergy and girl at the counter tried to tell me that the only thing I could safely eat was a vegan option. When I said I'd like a real meat burger she said the beyond burger had real meat in it but not milk. I ordered what she suggested wanting to play it safe and not get sick. This place and the similar fast-casual burger joints that have popped up (e.g. Burger 21) are too expensive for what they offer and I don't understand it. Burger - $8 Fries - $3 Milkshake - $5 Tip - $3 Right there you're looking at $19 per person. And the food is just OK. If the prices weren't so high I'd give this place a solid 3 star because it really was ... OK. One less negative that this place has versus it's numerically named competition (and why it gets an extra star) - the service is faster. While you still have the issue where the milkshake comes to you before the food (and, to be honest, the milkshakes aren't exactly huge), the food will take ten minutes or less to get to you. Next, the burger is only a 1/3lb patty - for $8? By the time that's cooked ... I mean, damn, I'm still hungry at the end of this lunch. I like the idea and the concept of adult style burgers - but for the price I expect better. I can go to a non-chain for this price and not order at a counter - Why am I paying a tip for the same level of service that I get at Chick-Fil-A? I just don't get it. read more
