I've tried this place a few times and I'm not impressed. I'd rather get a subway sandwich than come here again. The only reason I give 2 stars is the fries are the only thing good here. I got a Reuben with extra meat. When I got it, the sandwich had a regular serving of meat. I'm not sure I want to know what a regular serving of beef would be. Overall, the bread did not taste fresh. First time trying today and WOW!!! The cheesesteak was super delicious!!! The bread was so soft!!! Fresh cut fries were outstanding as well. Ulises is a real asset to this well run location of Penn Station. My sandwiches for myself and my wife were fantastic and as things had slowed Ulises came out and sat across from me and conversed for a bit and I made a new friend. This is my second time here and I wouldn't go back. The food isn't terrible but it isn't great either. Today o ordered the chicken teriyaki no cheese. Get home and the sandwich is loaded with cheese. Return back so they could remake it and I get home it's a chicken teriyaki with no teriyaki . You can't make this stuff up. Staff is pleasant but I wouldn't go back. I asked for extra Swiss on my sandwich. the cashier tells me that since I already paid extra swiss could not be added. So I asked if an item for equal value could be rang up to replace the cost of the cheese. The team member tells me that the cost of the cheese is 2.43. thats crazy for extra cheese but whatever, so I paid. While I was putting my card in the reader, a roach (not a water bug, not a beetle) a roach prances it's way across the counter top. I then started to look around and this place is nasty as hell. The bread is small, filling is lacking to say the very least and the prices are higher than their competitors. The staff seems lost and not in a hurry at all. It brings me memories of my first job ever at 16 in Ohio. I remember these subs being so good at that time and since then I haven't had them again until recently. I went into Penn station with low expectations just in case they didn't taste the same as back then (25 yrs ago). I remembered I always ordered the Italian sub so I went in and got the Italian sub again, and let me tell you that I was pleasantly surprised that the sub tasted as good as I can remember, and the lemonade has to be one of the best freshly squeezed I've had in a while. The only thing I was a little bummed was about the fries. They were a little bit over fried so they tasted a little burnt. Overall I was glad that I came back and had them again after so long. Will be trying some of the other subs soon. read more

There are at least 2-3 new spots chain shops opening. I tried Penn Station today. And it didn't disappoint. We all know the roll has to hold up to the happiness they put in the middle. They offer the standard roll and a whole grain roll (which is what I had) and it's cravinous! The meat, tender, the veg crispt on the griddle and covered with cheese and toasted through a conveyor oven. All and all this was value added to what was a dying breed of sandwich in Atlanta. I tried the "famous" lemonade, and it's good, but there are better versions to choose over this. If you have a Penn Station in your area give them a try. The service was great, the product is tasty and on a cold 420 night and you're craving some warm, crunchy and cheesy goodness ... It will satiate you and melt you the rest of the way into the couch! read more

Pleasantly surprised about this sandwich shop! I had a family member in Town and we were looking for a lunch option in the area. I'm always up for trying a new sandwich joint! These guys are always friendly when we arrive. There food is made to order so the hot subs are hot when yo get them. The potatoes are salted just right and also temperature perfect. If you haven't tried their lemonade, do so, you won't regret it. They are doing the social distancing thing ( September 2020) and despite the smallness of the store, I didn't feel crowded. A friend told me about this spot a while back, finally got a chance to go today. I phoned in my order 9' Philly Cheesesteak. I arrived my sub was ready. Decided to add on some fries since I noticed they offer fresh cut. They also do fresh squeezed lemonade. I didn't try it. My sub was so delicious! The "sauce" (grease, cheese, mayo) that dripped from sandwich was just as good lol the sub is small. Pretty small. But the steak and cheese combo they do is delicious! Customer service was terrible . The cashier was lost as ever while the what seemed to be the manager just watched as she made mistakes and then attempted to help her . The manager began closing the store at 7 making me feel as though I needed to leave . She was cleaning every seat around me while putting up the chairs and speaking loudly on the phone . Then her and other coworkers proceeded to play music from their phones in the kitchen and yelling out the N word amongst other coworkers . Lastly, all employees would go from cleaning and handling money to putting on gloves without washing their hands ! Although my food was amazing , wouldn't recommend this location ! read more

New ownership! I spoke to her myself today and she's so personable and knowledgeable about the fast food industry. We talked about what happened to the Penn Station app - too many bugs and how their bread is so good - it is baked fresh to order. Because of this, I recommend ordering online because you'll get your food faster. I order my usual which is the Philly sub with everything but the pizza sauce, fries, and lemonade. This place is perfect for lunch or dinner. When I used to work nearby, lunch time was always packed!! I've been coming here since 2016 and their food has since improved significantly- the fries are no longer salty, the bread was not raw. The owner told me the new app will roll out this summer and I look forward to it because I'll come back more frequently. Stopped by yesterday because the suwanee bbq festival was way too crowded. I've been here a few times before and the food was slightly above average for a sub place. Yesterday, I had a large Italian sub and fries. The food was really good yesterday, not sure if I was just really hungry or if I just found a menu item that really agrees with me. Either way, I'll try it again. One complaint that definitely cost them a star is they have a bad fruit fly problem near the drink station. I could see them swarming as I filled my cup. I chose a seat a few booths away and by the time I finished my sub I noticed them flying around my table. Call an exterminator! Also, Pepsi? I'll never understand why a restaurant would offer Pepsi instead of coke. Coke is undisputedly more popular! Why not offer what the most people prefer? read more

The location is low key nothing really pulls you to come in except the "East Coast subs". Being a lady from the Midwest I know that the Midwest and East Coasts has a reputation for excellent food. I was in the mood for a sub today, totally not seeking anything outside of your traditional neighborhood sub restaurant. I don't live near this Penn Station East Coast Subs and was just out and about with a friend when I happened upon it saw a lady walk in and to be honest it was more appealing than Moe's. The atmosphere probably an 8 or 9 for this type restaurant. Clean open menu with descriptions as you walk in employee waiting to take your order Awesomeness. This is not a large place but you don't need that for great food. The Food I ordered the chicken salad sandwich Fries, Lemonade and the chunky Cookie. The sandwich came with provolone cheese, pickles and tomatoes. It was my first time so I was a bit slow on what I did and didn't want on my sandwich. Next time I will Skip the lettuce, ask for wheat or a thinner bread the contents were tasty but skimpy for the price. I give the sandwich a 6.5/10 with potential to be a 10. The Fries were wonderfully lightly greasy but not an overkill. I ordered the small and my fries were over flowing more than enough. I give the fries a 8/10. The lemonade is fresh squeezed, need I say more? It is just right as far as sweetness goes and has a full lemon flavor that is not over powered by the sugar or water. I give it a 10/10. The Cookie, I was sold on it being awesomeness because it looks soft and gooey and it is. You are either a soft cookie lover like me or a hard cookie lover (or you don't like cookies, who cares this is about the cookie). If you like soft cookies it's a treat not Disney World in your mouth but definitely Six Flags. 7.5/10 The Cost I am a paying customer. I love good food that tastes unforgettable. I love quality food whether it's fast food or fine dining. I will pay a little more for great tasting food. You can actually spend somewhere around $6 and have a 6 inch sandwich. My meal cost me $12.25 with tax. The Staff They were average not horrible and not extra. Just right. It's what I expected. It's fast food not expecting unreasonable, unrealistic performances. Overall This is not fine dining and as such it deserves a fair rating for the field of service and product they provide. I give them 4/ 5 stars for yelp, 8/10 for my review. Came in to try the place out and was happy with the many different sandwich options on the menu. Went with the featured item, Philly Cheese Steak. Got the 6inch and told him to prepare it the way it comes with everything on it. The mushrooms were a tiny amount and had no flavor at all in the sandwich and meat was less steak than I would expect and unlike the thin cut you usually get on a philly this seemed to be cut in odd shaped chunks. They only added mayo and not the mustard and pizza sauce which might have been a good mistake considering how messy it was with just mayo. Was not impressed with the taste or consistency of the bread. They serve it open face so when you make it an actual sandwich everything seems to go wrong. The engineer of this sub might have not thought through the difficulty to eat it. On the good side the banana peppers were a great addition and was a nice flavor to add to the sub, but still did not make it a 5 star experience. I will try and come back to try other options, but overall I am not as impressed as I hoped to be with this place. I think the layout is pretty simple to understand and staff was friendly. read more
