I have never eaten at a BurgerFi before and was with my sister when we got hungry while running errands. She suggested them as she used to frequent the location near her job and bragged about the good food quality and customer service. When we walked in, no associate was at the register. After a few moments, a young employee with their hair in a bun walked up, looked directly at us but did not speak. (We did not see a name tag to call them by name) Five minutes passed while we watched the employee make two-milkshakes and then move on to another task. When the employee "finally got around" to taking our order, my sister asked to speak with the manager. The manager, Haz came out and my sister made him aware of the lack of customer service. Also, we stated that it only takes a few seconds to greet the customer and inform them that they will be helped shortly. I had a strong craving for a burger for dinner and honestly it really hit or miss with burgers in the Lawrenceville area. Well BurgerFi was definitely a hit! I got a Bacon Cheeseburger and it was just what I needed. The meat patties were super juicy and filled with flavor and the bacon atop the patties was so crispy. I usually don't like crispy bacon because it tastes burnt to me but this bacon was cooked to perfection. I added pickles on top of my burger and the slices of pickles were fresh and crunchy, it was heaven. My dad got The CEO burger which features two Wagyu beef patties. I honestly didn't taste a difference between my angus patties and the wagyu patties. I also wasn't a big fan of the candies bacon-tomato jam on the CEO burger. One thing I have to say I wish they had more of is a cheese selection or at least a part of the menu that listed what types of cheeses are available. I really like cheddar on my burgers and the Bacon Cheeseburger comes with American so I had to search through the other menu items to make sure they had cheddar cheese I could substitute. Hey fam! When this location first opened they where awesome. We used to live down the street and visited often. We love burgers. Always hot, juicy, home style burgers. Today we came and I was served the most driest over cooked burger. $7.26 for a burger that could be used as a puck isn't my idea of a good meal. The patties where thinner then McD! A friend and I went here to try out the burgers and truffle fries. We were really pleased we did. The burger was delicious and nicely moist. While I have had better (different style) truffle fries, these had a really nice taste, too. We split an order of chicken fingers and were surprised with the great flavor and moistness, not dried out like a lot of places. I returned another day and everything was just as good! read more

After three visits to Burger Fi, I've experienced the following: Pros: Onion rings and custard items are consistently good. Onion rings are large, not overly breaded, and cooked to perfection. Both the All of Chocolate" concrete and the chocolate milk shake were quite good. Staff is professional, and do a good job. They don't really do any small talk, but they seem patient with customers who have questions or are indecisive. Cons: Have had burgers twice, and both times were "meh". Meat quality is okay, but there is little to no seasoning, and the flavor of the beef isn't enough to make up the difference. Nondescript at best. The bun is cute with the branded logo, but they have been consistently dry, bordering on stale, and served at room temperature. Had hot dogs today. Hot dog was also basic, decent size but nothing special about it. Chili was okay, and cheese was the stuff you'd expect to see on nachos. And once again, the bun was dry and served at room temperature, as if it had been pulled out of a bin and served as-is. Hit or Miss: On 2 out of three visits, the fries were excellent. Hot, fresh, crisp on the outside, and properly seasoned. On the other visit, they were barely warm, limp, and not flavorful. The dining room is closed, but there are 5 tables outside that provide a space to eat. Bring your own Clorox wipes, if this is important to you, as there is no one sanitizing the tables nor any sanitizer in sight. I'm not sure if I'll be returning since the main course items have been a disappointment. My wife suggested that we bring a little Worcestershire sauce and or Montreal Steak season to give them some flavor, so we may try again by doing that. Or just stop for Onion rings and custard. No. Absolutely not this location... I just left the restaurant and there were 2 tables taken-- one was an employee. We each ordered a build your own burger and shared a large order of onion rings to go. 10 minutes later we get our bag of items and check them before driving home. When I checked my burger it had no grilled onions and American cheese residue smothered on the bottom of the burger. The top was the white cheddar I had asked for... The cashier and I both noticed it and she apologized as it was clear that instead of remaking the mistake they tried to cover it up and merely scraped off the cheese but...left the evidence?....What if someone had allergies, would they cover it up and give them the same burger? Hmmm... 10 minutes later, I finally got my burger. Which means our food is now 20 mins old... *sigh* Oh well! read more

They need to work on how they package and bag their Parmesan fries. The Parmesan was mostly on the bottom of the bag, not on the fries. To make matters worse, the bag had a whole in it, which left a Parmesan mess on my car seat. The fries were cold and didn't taste fresh. The food overall was cold and underwhelming. Hello I am an avid BurgerFi customer... I consider myself a fan of your brand, mainly because your front staff are very nice and accommodating... And your food is good too. I even made you guys a banner so that other customers would know you where open during the "stay at home orders" (Not sure if management ever got it) On June 20th I placed an order for food, as I have every week for the past couple of months, I picked up the food and went home, due to Corona concerns I do not open my bags until I get home and disinfect the packaging. When I opened the bags I noticed that the burgers were not made correct... I called the store to voice my disappointment, which this wasn't the first time they make an order wrong... The young lady on the line told me that she would remake the burgers for me, I told her I was not going to go back for the burgers... she told me next time I order to call, that she would have my name written down for 4 burgers to be remade for me. Today July 25th I called, it has been longer then normal since I ordered food, I was sick, I spoke with a manager in hopes to redeem the burgers promised to me, unfortunately my call was met with distrust and a hint of anger... he told me that there was no way he could reimburse me for an order in June, I told him I wasn't looking for a refund just the burgers promised, I think he took offense to my request and said there wasn't any way to prove what I was saying.... I told him that I could provide the receipt for the order in question... he placed me hold, came back and said to bring the receipt, I came into the restaurant with the receipt and my story and I was just stared at with blank faces... If you could look at my order history you could see that I spend quite a bit there.... I was going weekly.. You made me feel like I was a lier...! This whole situation saddens me, especially because my kids really like your food... but I cannot see my self entering your establishment after my recent experience. This review is based on 2 recent visits. 1 - We placed a large to go order on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago. There were multiple mistakes including wrong condiments on sandwiches, sandwiches not cooked right, none of the sauces we paid extra for were included and of all things, NONE of the sandwiches were marked which meant we had to take apart each sandwich to try to figure out which sandwich it was. Considering several of them were wrong, this was a challenge. On the bright side, the fries and onion rings were both excellent and even warm after a 25 minute car ride home. I ended up speaking to a manager and they gave us the option of remaking our food (not exactly a great option given how far away we live) or a gift card for our next visit which I was happy with. The onion rings were the saving grace of this meal and I give it a 2.5. 2 - We again placed a to go order. This time all of the sandwiches were right except they were all well done even though only one was requested to be well done. Don't ask how we want our sandwiches cooked if you're not going to do anything different. All of the sandwiches were made correctly aside from the doneness. Fortunately my mom remembered to check on the sauces we again paid extra for before she left the store because they forgot them once again. No harm, no foul since we got them this time but the customer shouldn't have to be the one to remember. The burgers were great but the chicken, both a grilled sandwich and fried chicken fingers, were not very good. Both said they wouldn't order them again because they lacked flavor. I was so excited to try Burger Fi. I hope my next visit is more satisfying. I hovered between 2 stars and 3 before finally giving them a slight edge. I don't often go to straight up "burger joints" because it just isn't my jam but my son was really craving one today. The Yelp reviews seemed like a pretty mixed bag but I decided to throw caution to the wind and form my own opinion. The restaurant itself was quite clean and had an appealing urban/industrial decor that was nicely streamlined and well-lit. I can see where this place would be packed during peak hours. There was a small patio area for outside dining but I would consider that a last resort since it is right on a busy intersection at the end of a strip mall. The menu is pretty compact so it didn't take our group long to settle on meals - one Beyond Burger for the vegetarian, one Bacon Cheeseburger for the carnivore and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Green Style, with added bacon. I appreciate that Burger Fi offers the lettuce wrap option on it's menu...I always order burgers without the bun (Celiac Disease makes gluten more than just a nuisance for me) but I appreciated that they bothered to display this option as a menu choice. We also ordered two sides of fries, one craft beer and one milkshake, along with a fountain drink. We were given a buzzer to take to the table with us to alert when our order was ready - another nice touch instead of standing and waiting. The wait was not terribly long but they also weren't very busy on a Sunday after typical lunch hours. (1:45p.m.) We retrieved our order after being buzzed and problem number one -- I got a fried chicken sandwich instead of grilled. It looked utterly delicious but again, that cursed gluten. So, back it went to the counter where they said they would prepare one and bring it straight to my table. The other burgers were well cooked and reportedly delicious. The fries were VERY generous orders and plenty for all three of us to share with some still coming home in a box. Unfortunately, it took so long for my chicken sandwich to be prepared that the two other diners were done by the time I got mine. Oh well, not the end of the world. Problem number two -- no bacon. I really didn't have it in me to take it back up and wait another 15 minutes while the rest of my party was ready to go. I suppose I could have gone back and gotten a 2.75 cent refund for the bacon (which I did verify that I ordered and paid for on my receipt) but I was kind of over it at that point. There was nothing particularly good or bad about my sandwich. It tasted good and was cooked well but I think if/when I come back, I will do it only for the clear star of the show: the burgers. I do agree with some previous posters that the prices are high and the burgers are smallish. I do not think the prices are out of line with the quality of the product (mistakes notwithstanding) but if you are hungry - go for a double. I would say that the price of the shakes versus the size make them an item I wouldn't order again. read more

The fries were good, but I had the urban fries with the garlic aioli and Parmesan. It looks good on the pics but I wasn't feeling the garlic aioli. I ate some of my wife's fries and they were good. Service was quick but at what cost. I noticed after the fact that the cashier didn't ask how we wanted our burgers cooked. My wife had the breakfast burger with no egg because they said that they were not able to scramble it. I got the CEO. When my burger came out, it just looked like it was thrown together. They seriously jerked me on the tomato jam that went with the burger as it looked like they only spread on the corner of my top bun. The meat was not seasoned at all. I ate the burger and through all my fries and onion rings away ( ate one onion ring). My wife's burger was okay. I Just was not pleased but I think the person who told me about this place overhyped it because I don't think I will return and not to mention I spent almost $40 on burgers.... try for yourself but I wasn't feeling it. read more

I had a horrible experience at this location. Decided to visit to get a Beyond Burger and fries. When my food came out, my burger was pinker then usual. Come to find out, it wasn't done! Completely cold in the middle. So I take the burger back and they make me a fresh burger. Burger comes out quickly. Cut the burger open and it's literally cold and frozen in the middle. I tried a BurgerFi in Philly about 4 years ago. Since one opened here, I decided to try one since I hadn't had one in a while. I got what was called the conflicted burger which was made with angus beef, as well as a veggie patty with cheese, onions, and tomatoes. I enjoyed it but however can't see how they justify some of the prices. That was my first time having a veggie patty of anything. It's not a bad place, however I know of some other places that I would be able to go to with gourmet burgers which could justify the prices. I had a late lunch here yesterday with my family. A girlfriend had raved about this place to me years ago but I never got around to trying it since there wasn't a location near me until now. I tried their regular cheeseburger and herb, parmesan and garlic aioli fries. My husband had their bacon burger with cajun fries and a cream soda. The total for everything came out to be around $27. I didn't find the food to be on par with their pricing. My burger and fries were just "ok". My husband enjoyed his burger though. I'm glad that I finally got to try this place but I probably won't be back. There's much better burgers elsewhere. read more

If you want to try out one of the best burgers in the area then come here! BurgerFi makes one of my top 10 burgers in America - the All Breakfast burger, soooo good! Fries are flawless and the onion rings are really crunchy/crispy the way you want. The cry/fry is the best combo but insanely filling, so feel free to get one cry/fry to share with others. Peanut butter shake is a great desert. I also tried the CEO I liked it but I think next time I'll get it with the truffle aioli on the side. BurgerFi recently opened in Lawrenceville and I finally had the opportunity to try it out. My lunch companion and I both had one of the special burgers and shared a parmesan and herb fry order. We had the chance to also sample the custard in a tasting cup and enjoyed the taste. In an increasingly popular industry of "boutiquing" the burger, the statement hook is all-natural ingredients which was repeated in advertising and by the ever-present staff walking around and and greeting and talking with customers. I will share the "all-natural/free-range" reflects in pricing. Minimum pricing for burger only is around $7 and for the Wagayu/Kobe blends you are looking at $9 and up. The other options include a veggie burger, hotdogs, sides and custard based desserts. There are two Coca Cola machines with the custom blend options for your fountain drink. Appearance- Industrial Sleek. The clean, modern look of the steel tables and chairs shouts industrial over the usual fast food template. It feels a little more upscale walking in which may help as your wallet clears out because you may feel you are paying for experience. The burgers are ordered at the front with lots of bright photos and clear listing of ingredients. The staff were very friendly but for just opening they almost were tripping over one another to help you and help you and help you. No complaints there. I would like to see if this friendly, supportive push continues after a few months. If so, this will be worth coming back to based on customer service alone. After ordering you take a pager to your table which eliminates the yelling of numbers. It was pretty quick. Less than 5 minutes mine was up and ready. My companions order however came a little later so we casually tried to keep conversation going until she was served. Not a complaint just be aware some burgers may take longer than others - again the fresh ingredients factor. During our lunch they bussed our table and kept checking in - brought a "secret sauce" for fries. It looked like the BurgerFi sauce on my burger but it was tasty. 14 ingredients good. Lots of service but probably because they are very new. I will rate excellent but like I noted hope this continues. Foodie Fun- I decided on the Conflicted Burger "green style" (lettuce wrapped instead of bun- an extra 50 cents to convert) it was a regular burger AND the VegeFi patty with 2 kinds of cheese, toppings. I added grilled onions and pickles - those were complimentary. There were premium toppings but those while appealing are up to $1 extra to add. Interesting mark up if you aren't careful. I opted to share fries and passed on fountain drink and custard. My companion ordered the CEO a brisket patty and Wagayu patty with toppings galore. The patty on all the meat burgers are the thin ones so it behooves you to go double not single. Taste is delicious and ingredients as far as I could tell are all amazing and delicious. I totally approve - with conditions. Will explain below in my review about "nutritional value." My burgers were hot, fresh and delicious. Loved all the veggie and quinoa mixed in veggie burger. I would totally come back and bring vegetarian friends to enjoy. Mine was served with the tangy BurgerFi sauce and overall good. Very messy. But that big silver tray keeps you honest. My companion also loved her burger lots of flavor and juicy not dry. The parmesan herb fries were also good - fresh and presentation excellent. Presentation is a big deal - frankly the "branding" of the bun was a little strange on my companions burger bun but good marketing. BURGERFICATION, right? Will come back for the food and that custard is very creamy and yummy to try when not so strict on eating well. Nutritional Value- I will give BurgerFi their props for fresh, quality ingredients. As far as I can see, everything is fresh and delicious. I totally didn't mind paying $8 -9 for a burger. It was cooked and served just right. I did have an A-ha moment when I went back and looked at the nutritional chart though. Scanning all the burgers on calories, fat, sodium, and even sugars- there was a reason it tasted so good. The single patty burger starts at 500 calories and they all rise up to the big caloric contender of the All Day Burger well over 700. What floored me was sodium - that awesome sauce and other options clocks all burgers in between 640 - 1480 mg of salt. I am not downing the taste, quality, or ingredients. Just making sure as you jump on the all-natural train you know what you are eating - especially those of you with dietary issues or restrictions. I included a photo of the nutritional chart for the burgers. Hence my star dock- it wasn't as available as it could have been on site. Would suggest that. Overall a good stop and experience. Finally have a great burger place close to home! I was excited about trying BurgerFi since it opened recently in my neighborhood. I was not disappointed. I tried the BurgerFi bacon cheeseburger with the Parmesan garlic fries on the side. The burger was very tasty. The patties were juicy and the cheese was perfectly melted and incorporated into the burger. You can choose from various condiments and toppings to add to your burger. The Parmesan garlic fries were also very good even though I can safely say I've had better. The customer service over all was extremely good. The girl who took our order was extremely patient and helpful as we worked on figuring out the menu. There was a minor hiccup when my bacon cheeseburger was served to me without the bacon. The employee I initially addressed the issue with did not handle it in a very professional manner but management went out of their way to make it right. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the service. Customer service isn't measured by how you perform when everything goes right but rather how you handle things that go wrong. read more

I've had BurgerFi before and had pretty pleasant experiences (in Auburn AL and Kennesaw) but this location stood out to me as the worst one as it completely derailed my expectations and opinion of the chain. I've been to this location twice and both times were mediocre. The cashiers don't ever remind you about the free toppings if you order a simple burger so the second time I forgot and ended up with a very naked, boring burger and was frustrated nobody reminded me it doesn't come with lettuce, onions, etc OR EVEN KETCHUP by default. I also told my cashier what temperature I'd like my burger cooked, "medium", and she stared at me like I was crazy and said they don't cook to temperature. Which is fine, I don't expect it to be that high-end but she was a little rude correcting me that way. The fact that my shake, burger, and fries came out to be $21 was crazy to me. I ordered an oreo mint shake and the staff just completely forgot to make it so I had to ask for it after 20 minutes of waiting for my food. Once I received it, they didn't have any lids left and it wasn't filled all the way to the top. I also ordered the parmesan cheese and garlic aioli upgrade to my fries and they forgot my aioli. Basically, my experiences have equated in long waits, messed up orders, not-so-friendly service, and me definitely not feeling the value of a $21 meal. "Come here right now"pointing and glaring. It was a very uncomfortable situation for our entire party. He took our order and made the entire ordering process unnecessarily difficult. The service inside this BurgerFi is IMPECCABLE. The workers are extremely knowledgeable about all the things on the menu. If you don't know what the garlic aioli is, they would be able to describe it to you. If you don't know what a Wagyu beef is, they would be able to describe it to you. They are extremely pleasant in their demeanor, and they treated me like they would treat one of their own family members. Not being able to eat beef, I kinda get stuck with only being able to get the VeggieFi burger, but it doesn't upset me at all, because the Veggie Burger is very delicious! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this establishment as well, and these two gentlemen are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They were genuine and down to earth. After reading quite a few negative reviews on google I was hesitant to go here, but gave it a shot since they had a deal going at the Lawrenceville location off of Duluth hwy- you get a cheeseburger, fries and a draft beer for $10 on Thursdays. Many complaints on google are about service, but in my opinion the service is what you would expect from a place where you walk up to order. The guy ringing me up seemed newer, but a girl from the back quickly came up to help him out and was very attentive/helpful. Both seemed friendly enough. This was an okay experience. I was really looking forward to trying this place out since they served grass fed beef for their hamburgers, but the experience did not exactly make me want to come back. I came here with fiancé after spending much of the day at the hospital so it was fairly late in the evening. I ordered the breakfast all day burger, but has asked the girl taking my order to leave off the hash brown, ketchup, and onion. She apparently left off the bacon instead of the potato so when I got my burger it was hard to eat due to the potato being soggy. The thing that really bothered me was that we waited 10-15 minutes to get or food, which was not a bad wait given some of the other reviews, but once we got our food we had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes for our milkshakes. This meant that by the time we actually got to eat our food it was cold and not as good. The milkshakes should have been done first, but it was like they forgot about them till after our food came out. The food itself was okay. The fries tasted sweeter than normal which was a little weird considering they were not sweet potato fries. They also left off the Parmesan/herb/Garlic aioli topping off of my fries. My burger was okay, besides the fact that hash browns were really soggy and made it difficult to eat. My fiancé's bacon was so over cooked it was black. It was pretty packed when I got there but everything went smoothly. I didn't wait too long until my orders arrived. I got the CEO & breakfast all day burgers. Both tasty! I also got the French fries with truffle aioli and parmesan. It was good but you'll have to eat it fast or it will get soggy. I was a bit bummed because the churro banana shake had ran out. It was pretty sweet that they would donate a dollar to St. Jude for every churro banana shake that a customer ordered but why does it run out? Do they only want to give a certain amount to St. Jude a day? Hm...makes me wonder since I got there at 1pm, I didn't think they would run out of any ingredients. It hurts me to give this place only two stars because I really want to see local businesses succeed in Lawrenceville. I ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger, single, with no lettuce or tomato. My husband ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger (double) with everything plus grilled onions. I got fries, he got onion rings. Burgers came up fairly quick, but quickly something was wrong. Mine had lettuce and tomato, his didn't. No biggie, just slightly annoying, but we swapped the (pale) lettuce and (pink) tomato. For spending $30 on burgers you'd expect the produce to be ripe, right? The fries were good, but my burger patty was really salty. Not slightly salty, but really salty. Hubby's was almost inedible with two patties. We'll probably come try it again, and I'll update my review accordingly. But for now I'm not planning on being a regular. read more
