The woman on the speaker who took our order seemed inconvenienced by our order but the woman at the window was chipper and smiley which made us feel better. Unfortunately all 4 of our burgers were cold which is highly disappointing when you spend $6+ per burger, fries were cold as well. Our Walla Walla onion rings were hot as were our fish and chips but it still did not make up for the cold burgers. For our family of 5 including one kids meal our lunch totaled $45. read more

Joe Pesci said it best. They screw you at the drive-thru. We come down to Newberg every now and then for wine country. Today we decided to give Burgerville a second try. The laaaast time we went there, the only thing we could conclude is that they gave my wife the kids meal because her burger was pathetically tiny. Of course by the time we discover this miles down the road, we weren't going back. So this time, we got miles down the road and my wife's burger was apparently made with "free dirt." As in the staff apparently didn't wash the lettuce, or dropped it in the floor or something because it had a gritty film on it. Gross. No need to go back here ever again. read more

Okay, so I have lived in Newberg 25 years now. I have NEVER tried Burgerville. Today, I thought give it a try and see what Burgerville is all about. The restaurant looked clean and orderly. The food on the other hand is quite disappointing. My Peperbacon burger basket was the pits. the hamburger was cold and looked liked someone had smashed it with all their weight. The fryes were cold and limp. Unfortunately it was take out so I could not complain to the staff or management, but rest assured "NEVER AGAIN" although I don't mind paying a higher price for the the food so Burgerville employees can get their benefits, BUT I did expect more..... On Saturday, 3/25/17, we were in town on a college visit for our child. This was our first experience with a Burgerville, since we do not have any in our state. We were excited about the menu options and went through the drive thru. After picking up our order, I went inside to use the bathroom. The restroom only had one stall. While inside and actually using the restroom, there was a knock at the door and I responded by saying, "Just a minute!" Two Burgerville employees barged in and literally slammed the door into the wall and did not say a word. There was one male and one female employee. The male proceeded to stare at me through the door crack, into the bathroom stall. He was in the restaurant hallway right outside of the bathroom, while the female entered. The male employee and I made eye contact! I looked at the male employee , while inside of the stall, while trying to finish up, and said twice, "Please close the door!" When I exited the stall, the female employee was changing the soap dispenser, which was not empty. I told her that I had said, "Just a minute", and she proceeded to ignore me completely and then exited as I washed my hands. I spoke with the manager, who was completely empathetic and professional. I was extremely hurt and felt violated. I truly believe that I was profiled. I will never visit Burgerville again based on such a negative experience and would advise others not to go as well. I requested a refund for my trouble, which was given, however; the treatment I received as a paying customer was humiliating. I am hopeful that with this review, Burgerville will respect the privacy of others WHILE they are using the restroom, as well as put in a different stall door which would not allow for their employees to peer inside of the stall. The creepy experience sickened myself and my family and we did not enjoy our meals because we all were left with a bad taste in our mouths, due to the unpleasant event. I do not recommend supporting this restaurant, and specifically the Newberg location. I contacted their customer service number by email and never heard back. I would like for them to improve upon learning about my experience, which could be helpful for training purposes. read more

I got something in the drive thru where I was owed 70 cents in change and after I paid the girl asked, "Do you want you receipt and change?" I instinctively said "no" because I only expected to be asked if I wanted my receipt. Then she said, "ok" and walked off. Wait, what?! read more

This crew is very well managed and deliver great customer service every time I stop in there. I love the food they serve, it is always fresh, hot and very enjoyable. I love the 1/2 lb double burger and the Triple Berry Shake is the best shake I've had anywhere in any restaurant. Hands down the BEST customer service of any fast food place I have ever been to! I personally am not a fan of Burgerville food... that being said, if you are, then lucky you because they are top notch at this place! I go there often because my boss likes it and I grab his breakfast and lunch there multiple times a week. I have never once felt like I was at the typical fast food joint. They really know whats up here and have a great thing going. They obviously have trained employees on how to treat the customer. It's not even the fact that I demand to be treated a certain way, it's just plain different and out of the ordinary. Makes me smile every time I go there. They are extremely kind and professional. To top that off, I am pretty sure that I have seen a manager out in the parking lot early morning picking up garbage! High five to this woman who I don't recall her name. This does not happen typically, especially a manager. I love this! Just gettin done what needs to be done and she obviously does not feel she is above that task. Definitely a great local place to support if you like their burgers and a few other items on their menu also. They may be a little more expensive, but you are getting grass fed beef and nitrate free sausage and bacon. This is SOOO much better for you than other chains that use junk in their food! It's yummy, it's not as bad for you, and the service here is usually pretty great. The parking lot can get crazy because they get very busy around noon and the park lot is small. read more

On Wednesday, June,3,2015, I ordered a 4 piece halibut fish and fries and a medium sprite. My care taker went to pick it up for me She returned with the food. When I opened the package I had received I found that I got 3 pieces of fish and no fries and my Sprite. I was charged over $12.00. I called into the Burger King in Newberg, Oregon and talked to General Manager, Beth Kelly. I apologized and took my information and put it in her log that I had called. When I mentioned that I was home bound due to a disability. She immediately became very worried about me. She asked if I had enough to eat that night. I told her I would be fine. She told me that if I didn't have enough to eat she would bring me a new order. I was able to assure that I would not go hungry and there was plenty to eat here. On Friday, today June 5th, Frances, (my caretaker), picked up my replacement order. She came back with the correct order and said that Beth Kelly treated her with dignity and assured if there was any kind of problem to just let her know. She went above and beyond her duty. I just wanted to say a very special THANK YOU to her and to Burgerville. I'm on a fixed income and I really have to watch all the pennies and nickels, so I can only eat out once a month so I make it to Burgerville every few months. Thanks again. So, I love Burgerville. It is one of the few fast food restaurants I will eat at, actually. This time was a bit of a disappointment, though. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce instead of a bun (low-carb lifestyle, ya know), and when the bag was handed to me, I honestly thought it was empty. That's how light it was. I had to open the bag and check before I walked out. Sure enough there was something wrapped up in there, so I headed out to my car hoping it was actually food. When I opened the wrapper, I couldn't believe what I was looking at (and that I paid over $4 for it). There were two ultra leafy (not the sturdy, crisp lettuce), floppy pieces of lettuce with a small (3.5" diameter) burger patty in between, and a cold piece of cheese. That's it. I paid $4 for an bite or two of food. I even ordered one of the bigger burgers to make up for the lack of bun, and I got something with less substance that the value menu or kid's burger. No condiments, no toppings, no flavor. Horrible. It won't stop me from going back, necessarily, but that's a huge annoyance and I guess I'll have to be more careful next time. read more
