If that was told then the review would have 5 stars instead of 4 and I wouldn't have the manager Brian texting me asking for a review update. We really shouldn't have to give a list of all the things that we want cleaned but it seems that is the case. I don't understand how items that are donated for free are now being priced at $12. That feels like an excessive markup for a thrift store. Thrift stores are meant to serve community members who are struggling and help meet basic needs. Adding the word "vintage" to the name doesn't seem like it should justify doubling prices. It feels concerning that an organization that claims to support children may now be putting additional strain on families who are already having a hard time, especially when the merchandise is donated. The shift reminds me of the pricing philosophy at Goodwill Industries International, which is one reason I stopped shopping there. I used to be a weekly customer. The staffer was rude, asked how I'd feel if he went into my car and grabbed stuff. He also said he'd 86 me if I did it again. This was unnecessary and needlessly unprofessional. I simply was putting it into a more obvious place than the ground. After all if I dropped something I'd appreciate someone picking something up if I dropped it. No good deed goes unpunished here apparently. I was so flabbergasted I didn't respond with a better explanation but it's a situation I never should've happened.
