    Check engine light and loss of traction control during a rain storm

    DO NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! They do not care about your vehicle or the service they provide, just the money they get. Went in for an oil change and got told I had to change my spark plugs. Fine I was overdue. As I was driving home, my check engine light and traction control went out. Mind you, this was during the flooding happening in Seattle, so the roads are horrible and water logged. Went back the next day, and was checked in my a very rude and confection service manager. Another 3 hours of my work hours wasted, later they finally get me a shuttle to work. Once they were done fixing it I asked for a refund for the labor hours from the previous day and they said hell no. They gave a free oil change for the next time I come in. Thanks but Toyota of Renton is 10 minutes down the road. I understand that mistakes happen anywhere, but you can avoid the gaslighting and condescending tone if you dont go here.

    Went on line to see the available selection of new Corolla Hybrids. saw they had a 2025 Corolla Hybrid SE available so i texted Mark Kirkey to make sure it wasn't spoken for. thankfully, it was still available so i arranged to go down on June 5, 2025 to purchase that vehicle. I was in and out of Burien Toyota. in 3 hours! a BIG THANKS to Mark K, Kim in finance and our awesome sales guy Nestor Nunez Rodriguez!!! if any of you are looking to buy a vehicle from Burien Toyota ask for Nestor you wont be disappointed!!!! These three people are the ones to work with! Thanks again Michael B And i would like to say thanks for (Floor) service manager for bending over backwards when taking care of all my Toyota vehicles. its a huge relief that you're back!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok service but the guy who gives rides is a ghost. Don't count on getting a ride anywhere if you need to leave your car

    It completely depends on the manufacturer's specifications and/or dealer recommendations. I did the Toyota Platinum warranty. Pretty cheap insurance for 7 quarts of full synthetic 5w20

Since moving from Arizona to WA, I really wanted to find a great service center to do regular oil changes and maintenance. I can't say I found that in Burien Chevrolet. Everything was going pretty well with my normal oil changes until my check engine light came on. Went to Burien Chevrolet for a diagnostic and fix. They assessed, fixed, and sent me on my way with the check engine light off. Two weeks fly by and my check engine light illuminates again. Take it back, fork over the diagnostic fee and cost to repair. Check engine light is off. Woohoo! Three weeks pass by and the check engine light is back on. Easily spent over $700 trying to fix it over a couple trips back. I decided to go back to Arizona to visit and drove my car (check engine light on and all) back. I took it back to the dealership I purchased it and they suggested a bunch of sensor fixes that Burien Chevrolet never suggested or even recommended be changed. I did those repairs in one day and my check engine light hasn't been back on since ... it has been over a month since those last repairs.

On December 16, I received a text from Noel confirming that the trunk had been cleaned and dried. On December 17, I received another message stating that the headliner was being replaced and that the part had arrived. On December 31, I returned to complete the paperwork and noticed that the headliner had been completely removed but not replaced. I was told the issue would be checked on, and it was noted on the due bill. However, when the vehicle was later picked up by my son, the headliner issue had still not been resolved. I followed up with Noel to schedule a time to have the repair completed and was initially told they were unable to do it but would check again. After following up again, I was ultimately informed that the vehicle was being sold "as is" and that the repair would not be completed. I then contacted the manager, Anthony, who said he would speak with Noel and get back to me. I have not received any follow-up communication. At this point, the concern is less about the headliner itself and more about the principle. Commitments were clearly communicated prior to purchase, documented, and then not honored. Following through on agreed upon repairs is a fundamental aspect of good business practice and customer service.

She did not respond, but another employee, Mckenzie, answered on her behalf, stating that my car was ready but that the paperwork still needed to be completed, Twenty minutes later, I returned to inquire aaain. Mckenzie told me that she could not ocate me and that the dealership does not call or text customers when their vehicles are ready. I requested to speak with the service manager, but my request was refused, even though I was informed that the manager was on the premises I then entered the dealership to seek assistance, but an employee named Tony stopped me from proceeding further Eventually, a woman named Daisy Ramirez identified herself as the service manager and offered to help. Although she assisted me with completing my payment, it was clear that she lacked proper control and training over her team In total, I spent two full hours at the dealership for what should have been a simple oil change. I strongly recommend reconsidering your visit if you value your time and expect efficient, professional service.

I naturally go to oreillys to get it read, and it's the catalytic converter sensor. So I arm myself with that info, call the Kerrie and he says to bring it in. Swears it's the gas sensor and he'll fix it. I pick my car up that same afternoon. No light? Check. Next day? It now blinks EVERYtime I drive the thing. Smh. I've bantered back and forth with the owners, and he won't budge on allowing me to trade it in, get my money back, nothing. Lovely. I'm paying on a car that I'm scared to drive and am taking the bus in the wintertime. I gave them one star just for the receptionist and her bubbly personality. She seems nice enough, but even she gripes about her boss and job. Dually noted. Would I trimmed anybody come here? No. I would likely give them a bus pass and tell them save their money.

    The customer service here is lacking. They try to force you into their financing. If you want to go…read morewith your bank they refuse to let you wire money, and only accept cashiers checks. Here's the best part.. They won't hold the car for a few days for you to get that cashiers check. Wouldn't recommend wasting your time. Additionally, thinking back, while we were looking at cars, the one we were looking at didn't even have papers posted in any of the windows or anywhere else in or on the car. That should have been our first red flag.

I purchased a Kia EV6 from here. After the purchase, no matter how many emails you write, they don't respond. You try to call, they will say they are busy. Washington state has a sales tax exemption act when buying used EVs under $30k. And the tax exemption process has to be initiated from dealers. My purchase is eligible for this tax exemption (I checked with DOL/DMV. They looked at this VIN in their system and told me that the dealer is supposed to refund the sales tax). I called and called and called the dealership. And they told me "we don't deal with that. You have to deal with it by yourself." which is different from what DOL and DOR told me. I checked online and Department of Revenue ALSO states clearly that dealers have to be the one who initiate this refund (attached images in this review). I know this not only because I asked DOL and did my homework, but also because I purchased another EV in WA before and I got the WA sales tax refund from another dealership. The process was directly from the dealership. Unlike what this location told me. Furthermore, the sales staff Kyle Gaylor lacks training even to their own company's policy on EV sales. I asked "what does your Hertz 12-month warranty covers on EV" and he said "well you know what, our 12-month warranty only covers mechanical breakdowns. EVs don't have engine nor mechanical components, so if you didn't buy our additional warranty package, your vehicle isn't covered by our included 12-month warranty". It was a shocking response. I then checked Hertz Car Sales company website and it clearly states "Hertz also covers EVs with their 12-month warranty. Not only covers the battery but also the motor and related components. WHAT? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR COMPANY DOES and you are a sales? They are just NOT PREPARED and NOT EDUCATED to sell EVs. Perhaps because no EVs were under 30K for a long time so they just didn't care. But now with a lot of used EVs priced under $30K, PLUS that Hertz's new CEO strategy on dumping EVs, you can't just ignore all this and pretend you are selling traditional ICE cars like before. I am a local reviewer, and I cannot recommend buying cars from this business.

He didn't just try to sell me something; he explained that while the battery might be the issue, it could also be the starter or another problem. He laid out the risks honestly, but after listening to his expert advice, I took the chance and bought the Duralast Gold battery. TALON H walked me through the whole process step-by-step, even installing the new battery for me. He was so pleasant, professional, patient, and knew his stuff. And then--we ran full diagnostic tests with the AutoZone scanner, and EVERY single part of my system passed! Cranking volts, RPMs, charging system--all green. The car is running like a champ now. This man needs a raise and a promotion. No joke--I'd hire him to run any business I'm a part of. He's sharp, respectful, has excellent customer service skills, and knows cars inside and out. If you're at AutoZone and lucky enough to get TALON H, you're in the best hands. This was my first time at AutoZone and it won't be my last. I'll be bringing all my car business--and my friends and family--here from now on. All because of TALON H.
