Many of the fresh vegetables were gone. I suspect they bring food in for the weekend which is when people go there to shop. I went middle of the week so I know next time go Friday or Saturday to take advantage of the fresh produce. I was able to buy daikon and Japanese style soft and firm tofu so my trip was fruitful. The store stocks Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods. I am sure they sell other varieties of Asian foods. They have a good selection of dry noodles. I did not see any yakisoba or kimchi. The machine shop and retail store shared a Guntersville space until it became a little awkward when Sak's lingerie, women's dresses, and footwear (2$-3$ each) shared the same space with greasy tools and machines. Eventually, they opened the first retail store in Guntersville and now (and have for a good while) have stores in Huntsville, Decatur, Montgomery, Muscle Shoals, and Auburn. Yeah, there is a lot of stuff in a MM!! Books, yearbooks and bestsellers, sports fan related items (think Blue Jays themed socks), nuts, bolts, uniforms, stationery, school supplies, sports equipment, picture frames, Bubba Gump glasses, barrettes, office desks, grills, nuts, bolts, tools, flashlights, live orchids - you get it. It's a bargain hunter's paradise if you don't have ADHD and can focus on getting only what you are looking for. Interestingly enough, they don't always know what is in some of the boxes they bid on at auction and once ended up with F-16 fighter jet parts that required Pentagon permission to sell. (They sold nearly all the parts, too!) Like their website says, after visiting the Guntersville and Huntsville stores, I did find myself saying, as many MM shoppers do, "I'll bet that would come in handy, if I just knew what it was for." :)

What was really nice about this, I thought they had a larger selection that what you normally find in a Burke's Outlet. The other really nice thing is they had more than one of most items. So, that allowed them to sell at a better price point. They had a good selection of chairs, tables, art work (see pics). I'm guessing they rotate stock based on the current season of the year. Check out is all done at the main check out space that is shared with Burke's Outlet. So you can shop on either side and pay just once. If you are shopping for some home décor of any kind, it would probably be worth stopping in here real quick, if they have what you are looking for it will have a pretty good price point.
