I have been using Felts for about 7 years now for my company fleet truck and my personal vehicle…read more This visit was for the water pump that was going out on my fleet truck a 2013 3500 Chevy. I dropped it off around 7:45 as soon as they opened and by 4:00 that afternoon the repair had been made and I was back on the road. Mike and Ruth will go up and beyond to make sure your vehicle is repaired quickly and the job is done right the first time. Even when having to deal with the fleet management companies which can be a headache. If you're vehicle is having issues give Mike and the team a shot at Felts Family Car Care you won't be disappointed!! Thx guys for always taking good care of me!

I WAS HERE FOR 1 hour and a half. Never coming back here unfortunately. I personally do not like writing bad reviews for businesses but i want to warn people so they are aware. I went to get an alignment here as it's a local business and wanted to support, however, they did not perform the alignment. Reason for it was bad ball joints. I understand and this is normal procedure and many shops will deny the service for this. But they still decided to want to charge me $80 dollars for "checking the vehicle" the alignment is $120 by the way. After arguing that this was outrageous the lady cordially and correctly did not charge me the $80 dollars.

I am a service technician and have never treated a customer the way he does. He is where every service manager needs to send their techs to demonstrate how NOT to treat customers. BTW, cash only. UPDATE...the business owner replied to this review, apparently he pissed someone else off because I paid in full, money was not even an issue, had to pull cash from ATM next door (because the one in front of the shop is non functional) This is a different customer, I was not rude, I was silently pissed. He did not stop working on else's vehicle to work on mine, after waiting 3 hours with no estimate on time on even looking at mine, I was literary on the phone with another shop a mile away when he finally freed up. The ONLY reason I used this shop is because it was the closest one where I broke down and the lady who answered the phone said wouldn't be a problem. After dealing with this, I would not even go back for warranty work if I needed it.

Long story short for so called "transmission specialists" they sure don't know too much or would've saw the signs of it slipping. won't have to worry about me anymore i will NOT EVER be back.. and people say support small businesses.. yeah right

I bought this car cheap and put in a used transmission myself, and it was acting as if the fluid was low. Tommy just came through for us again. My son Eric was driving the old Tahoe and started noticing a coolant leak. He diagnosed it as a water pump and we gave Eric the number for Quantum. Tommy took it in, diagnosed it as a shot water pump and gave me a quote with options for replacing with an original Chevy part or a less expensive aftermarket that he knew to be reliable. Frankly, the quote was hundreds less than I expected. I am a fairly decent mechanic and would gladly pay his quoted price. He got the work done the day he was able to diagnose the problem. On time, exactly as quoted and functioning perfectly. I have recommended Quantum to friends for a decade and they all agree that you get honest work done right at a fair price. Everything you need in a mechanic shop!

Engine wasn't starting immediately after turning the key. They performed their analysis and recommended a new starter and battery cables, for which they wanted to charge me $1,400+. I previously had the MC there for the same problem and, after $400+ in analysis charges, it was a $20 gas cap. Wanting a second opinion, I scheduled an appointment with Quantum. Due to their high volume of work, I had to wait 2-1/2 weeks, but the wait was well worth it. Tommy, the owner, looked at the battery cables and starter and said there was no problem with them. However, apparently some General Motors vehicles have this starting problem. Not enough fuel is getting to the fuel injectors when the key is turned. He pressure-checked the fuel pump and found it to be the problem. Rather than spending $1,200+, he showed me how to ensure the injectors have enough fuel so the engine will start on the first turn of the key. I've had cars serviced over 50+ years and Tommy is the first mechanic that took his time to fully explain the issue and the solution. He knows what he's doing and most importantly, he's honest. You can't go wrong with Quantum Mechanix.
