I only give it a 1 star because you have to. They are THE WORST company to use. I have a warranty company and really hd no choice. The tech they sent out the first time did not do a damn thing. The second tech came out and was pretty thorough however they did not complete the paperwork correctly with the warranty company and I have had to call every day. Eventually I spoke with a guy named Andy and he said he was going to call and have the warranty company give me someone else because he didn't want to deal with me. These people have come 2 times in the past week, and my A/C still have problems. Can I give this company a rating of 0. Poor response time, poor customer service and questionable business practices. I was referred to this company through American Home Shield. It took 6 days for a person to come to our home due to the air conditioner not working. Their person claimed I needed to pay them $470 for gas that would be needed to bleed the system after they obtained parts for the system. They claimed it would be at least 5-7 days before they obtained the 2 parts needed. We called them after 5 days and were told the parts are not in yet and they would not set up another return date until the parts were in. After reading Kenny G's review of 9-2-17 it looked like the same problem was happening to us. Since our home's temperature was between 85 and 90 degrees for already 2 weeks we complained to American Home Shield trying to change subcontractors. Was told they could not change from Burleson. The person we spoke to at American claimed they did not have a supervisor that we could speak to. Called the Better Business Bureau for Leesburg. As soon as we mentioned Burleson they suggested to hire another firm as soon as possible and pay for the service ourselves. Last night I called another firm who was to the house this morning. They replaced one part that was on their truck, and charged me less than $140 for their visit. Within 2 hours the house temperature dropped by 10 degrees. If there was a way to rate zero stars I would. They customer service is terrible. I actually just experienced the worst situation I have ever encountered with a service organization. The "notes" on my account were completely fabricated and I was lied to. I have no idea why but I have never experienced something like this. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It's sad to think that you can even call this mediocre group a company. My A/C unit went out in the beginning of August and we called this company to have a look at the unit to see what was wrong. It took them 4 days just to come look at it. Finally a tech came in, and he said that the broken part (blower) would be ordered and my A/C would be repaired within 5 days. I was without A/C for three weeks after that (in the hottest month of the year in Florida). I called the office to see what was going on, and their answer was that the tech was sick so there was nothing they could do. They assured me that within the next week the tech would come. Fast forward a week. The day before the "new" appointment, I called about 3 times just to make sure the tech was going to arrive on the day of my appointment, to which they said yes for sure they will be there anywhere from 3pm-8pm and the tech would call me 35 min prior to them getting here to give me a heads up. I took off work just to wait on the tech because I desperately wanted my A/C fixed. It's 7:50pm the day of my appointment, and the tech was nowhere to be found. Called again for an update, and the office was closed, so they just left me high and dry without an answer. Tech never showed. These people have ZERO consideration for customer service. I wasted all that time in a house as hot as a sauna and had to end up going with a different company (which by the way, came the SAME DAY I called and fixed the issue the SAME EXACT DAY). Company does not return phone calls. Does not stand behind their technician's recommendations to replace a part after they get told by home warranty company to cheap fix it. Once you do get to speak to them on the phone the management has a very "so what" attitude. Clearly get the feeling that they could care less if you are happy with them or not. Been 11 days since their first and only visit and today their solution is to "just wash their hands of it". Seemingly didn't care for a homeowner who called them out on issues that were in clear writing by their own technician. read more

Now I know why everyone has said what they have said. I also had the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a service vendor. They do not even deserve 1 star, neither does American Home Sheild, they are both the most unprofessional organizations I have ever worked with. The tech that came out was not so bad, and he gave me what I felt was good information. However, the owner seemed to just want to make money and charge me for things I had questions on. When I asked him why his tech did not say things consistent with what he was saying, he could not explain that and just kept saying that his Tech agreed with him. When I asked how could he agree when he gave me different information, he told me I was making up what I wanted to hear and then he told me he was calling AHS and telling them to transfer me to a different vendor (and then hung up in my face, such a wonderful guy..... really just a bully). So, when I called AHS and they called him, he changed his tune, and said that was not what he said. He said he was only saying I could get a second opinion, so AHS refused to help me get a new vendor, even though he was a bully and not worthy of owning or operating a business. Do yourself a favor and refuse to work with this company, even if it is outside of a home warranty. They do not deserve your business, give it to a company that cares about their customers and community. This company is not that! read more

My insurance company scheduled Burleson to come out to my house. They came to my house several times over the course of 6 months or so. Living in Orlando, it gets extremely hot, even in December. My AC was not functioning properly, and with 4 kids, I was concerned with my house being 84 degrees for them to go to bed to. This company cancelled and had to reschedule several times, they came out at one point and broke my drain line inside my house, which caused the AC to leak and flood in an inaccessible location, without having to tear down drywall. The company had to send another tech out to fix their now fired employee's work, as he had ruined several jobs. The last time they came out, they overfilled my the freon and later I discovered our compressor had cracked due to overfilling it. There was one tech who came out that was extremely friendly and knew what he was doing. However he was not available each time. I wish this company the best of luck, however would not recommend them to any of my friends or family. read more

You don't find a lot of "F" ratings from the Better Business Bureau, but these guys definitely earned theirs. Our landlord has an American Home Shield home warranty, so when our A/C went out, we were at the mercy of whomever they assigned: enter Burleson. We managed to get an initial appointment in just a couple of days, so that was good. The window was 10-2, which meant we stayed at home to wait. 2 came and went, so we called and they said, "One more customer, then the tech will be right over." We gave it a good hour, called again and got the machine. We called a few more times, got the machine a few more times. Eventually at 6:30 we got a hold of someone. Lady: "Oh, the tech was pulled away on an emergency." Me: "A call would have been nice so we wouldn't have had to be chained to a 90-degree house for 8+ hours waiting for you. Can we schedule first thing tomorrow?" Lady: "Oh I have no idea, you'll have to call the office in the morning." Me: "I thought this was the office, but okay." So we called back first thing the next morning. Same lady, "Oh we're not in that area today, sorry." Seriously, it's like they're running a clinic on how to not run a business. Finally got reassigned a new vendor. Still no A/C after a week. read more

I have been dealing with Burelson Services Inc for the past two weeks and they are absolutely the worst company in central Florida. They gave me a time window between 1pm and 8pm and didn't show up until 9:45pm at night. While the repair man was nice, the air conditioning broke again two days later, so I have to question his skills. I have had to wait more than a week for a new compressor to be delivered, and now the company is trying to charge me $120 for a removal fee. When I asked to dispose of the old compressor myself, I was told that was against the law. When I asked which law specifically, they told me "Okay, its not against the law, but it is against EPA rules." I then asked "which EPA rule?" They did not answer me but they did tell me my only other option was to have the unit "sealed" by the tech before he leaves. I asked what exactly they were sealing, since all freon has to be removed before the unit can even be unplugged to be replaced. The girl on the phone didn't have any answers, so I asked for the owner to call me. I'm still waiting. The company is supposed to be installing my new unit today, but surprise surprise, they are late, with no call. I will never use this company ever again and I advise everyone considering them to find a different company. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. read more
