Stopped in for snacks by chance. This is a rougher Target for sure, you can see they're trying, but it's pretty packed and there's certainly cracks showing. The service was fine, the woman working the self-checkout had her work cut out for her, nobody in line seemed to be able to work the machines and she really needed a second helper. That honestly made me really really upset because after I paid with a different card she was not watching anyone else how she was hovering over us . She wasn't even that close to anyone else either . The place was pretty well-stocked and clean for the most part. My sister and I were trying to look for the clearance sections in the beauty department but weren't able to find it. This Target is off Brookhurst in Garden Grove in Little Saigon. I went here because my mom asked for some snacks and water etc. I go inside and grab a cart and every single one of them is filthy. Some with wipes and trash inside. It is quite disappointing that I had to put my mom groceries in a dirty cart. And there is no bags for bananas so I had to place it in the cart. Most groceries store in little Saigon is dirty and neglected. I would expect Target to have better house keeping. Kids sit in these seats and it is so sad that carts are dirty. The store is clean and well organized. Most of the staff are nice, especially at the CVS pharmacy. This store has a good selection of everything. However, sales or unique items are sold out faster than the one on Harbor (Chapman). Make sure you check availability on Target app before going to the store. The prices are affordable. Target here and other local ones are hit or miss with app. I often drive here and inventory is incorrect or staff does not always pay attention when I'm doing exchange or need price adjustment. The time/date was: 1:36 pm on 7/27/26. I went into the restrooms and it was disgusting - one toilet completely backed up with brown to the top and paper all over the ground, two more with paper all over and the toilet paper dispenser hanging wide open in one but worst of all, not ONE single sink worked - the water would not come out of one single sink and I had been in that very same target about a year ago and had made the mistake of putting soap on my hands 1st, as did another lady when to our horror, not one single sink worked then either!! as I was walking out thinking I'd have to buy a bottle of water now, I found a water fountain luckily and was able to wash my hands there. so I realized yesterday this must be an ongoing issue with this Target and it makes me wonder how disgusting everything else in that store must be especially Starbucks food items and drinks if employees can't even wash their hands! I'm giving this Target 3 stars overall 4 stars for the employees and the pickup area because they're always fast, efficient, and super helpful. But the checkout lines? Always soooo slow. Went to this Target after seeing a post about a Pokémon restock that happened around 5:30 PM. We arrived at 8:12 PM, and the limit was one box per person, including small tins. While checking out, my cousin was holding the nearly empty tin display to take home. The cashier, Ariel (platinum dyed hair), looked at him with attitude and asked, "What are you doing?" He politely explained that Target usually throws those displays away and that employees have given them out before. He even mentioned that he collects them as part of his hobby. Instead of responding respectfully--or checking with a manager if she wasn't sure--she scoffed and replied "Interesting" in a sarcastic, dismissive tone. It seriously felt like she was on an ego trip over a cardboard box that was slightly torn. If she thought he was lying, there were better ways to handle it. A simple yes or no would've been fine. We went to check out at register #7 and the cashier named Tracy who told us that she is going to close and asked us to go to Register #3. We went to self checkout instead but one of the toys doesn't have a tag on so we went to register #3 for help. My fiancé and I came to this location to get some snacks and a few items and found good selections of everything. The prices are competitive with other stores. Everything was going well until checkout time. We noticed there was something unsanitary left behind in the cart by a previous customer. We had not noticed and were mortified. Came to this TARGET to do an order pick up that I had done. First off, they don't have enough parking spaces for drive up, pick ups and in the app they ask you to park nearby with the hazard lights on. When parked with hazard lights adjacent to pick up area, not one team member approached me, so I got out of my car to let the team member know I was there and waiting for my order. When I let the girl know, she quickly snapped at me and answered, "We have 17 orders before you and are very busy" and continued inside the store. When you do DRIVE UP orders here, DOUBLE CHECK your mobile receipt after you pick up because they will ILLEGALLY CHARGE you for bag fees that you did not use. I checked my mobile receipt after and was charged $0.90 = 9 bags?! I only bought 4 items and I declined the bag. I uploaded pictures as proof. I called their customer service to request the refund. He initially put me on hold multiple times (trying to understand what bag fees are) and then told me he submitted the request and to follow up in 5 days if I did not get a refund. (Um no) I know that I can get the refund immediately (because it has happened multiple times before) so I asked him to look up a previous order that they were able to issue me a refund on the spot. We spent 37 minutes on the phone and he thanked me for showing him how to do it. So check your mobile receipts on the app, call their customer service 800-440-0680 to get the bag fees refunded and report it to Attorney General. I can't imagine how many people they see STEALING money from and are unaware they are doing this. read more

I usually have good experiences at Target but this visit to the Brookhurst location where I do most of my shopping was disappointing. I placed an online order which I have only done one other time and went to pick it up in store. After waiting approximately 5 minutes, someone finally asked if I was there to pick up an order. I provided my order number to the team member named Pamela and asked if there was a quicker process. She didn't respond and walked away to retrieve the order. When she returned, she tossed the bag to me without saying a word and walked behind the counter. I told her that was rude and as I turned to leave, she said go ahead and walk away. I was shocked by her unprofessional tone so I asked for her name. She said it was Pamela. I told her she needed to do better at customer service and her response was "Dude! What's your problem!" I reminded her that I'm not a dude and her behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The supervisor did come talk to me who was kind, listened and apologized for Pamela's behavior and said Pamela needs more customer service training. I suggested the supervisor view the cameras so she can see first hand what transpired. I don't expect over the top service, just basic courtesy and respect. Tossing a customers order and speaking inappropriately and unprofessionally is unacceptable. Target, please take time to better train your team on professionalism and communication.
