This Target was great. I believe Juan helped me find a very unique product called capzasin cream…read more It was pouring cats and dogs outside and I had already contacted 4 stores/pharmacies and no one carried this. Juan actually recognized this brand and spent a good deal of time looking around the store since products had recently been moved. He found it! This was the only store I could find with this product and he held it upfront for me as I drove through the rain. Very nice of him. Great customer service and very fortunate they had this product. Thank you.

Sometimes they tell us we can go to customer service to check out if we have fewer than 10 items, but not always. This time I was there to buy Target gift cards for a charity called Angel Tree that my friend at church volunteers for. Anyway, you know how gift cards now have a longer process to activate, with an extra sticker to place on the back--I've never seen anyone activate 10 cards as fast as my cashier girl. She did that even with long sparkly acrylic nails on. All while being asked questions by other shoppers coming into the store and talking to her manager once. I checked for errors on the receipt, but it was perfect. Talk about multitasking! Impressive! Wish I caught her name.

Brightly lit, well organized, and of course I gravitated toward the clearance racks. I was on the lookout for a rain jacket for an upcoming trip but wanted something stylish that I could wear as a layer on the airplane (I always get hot in airports and cold in planes so I have to plan layers accordingly). I found a DKNY short trench coat style black rain coat with hood, machine washable, light but water resistant, originally $75 for $40 on the clearance rack. Tried it on, loved it. (A convenient tall mirror was nearby in a column by the skincare items). Score! I will use it for years to come and it goes with everything. Long line to check out, but it moved fast. Marshalls has an automated system to announce which register is open so the staff don't have to yell "next customer!" in hopes that people are paying attention. The staff person helping me was efficient and helpful and I was overall in and out of the store in 20 minutes. I thought I'd have to find something online since my trip is coming up fast, but you never know how clothes will fit unless you try it on (jackets are less risky but still). So I felt very lucky to find something so high quality and affordable. Thank, Marshalls!

Marshall's has household items, towels, placemats, dishes, stemware, clothing, purses, shoes, pajamas and clothing for infants, children, men and women. I really scored on makeup, I never have enough. They carry name brand products at half price!! The store is very organized, clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. The check out line is one single row. They average 3 cashiers at a time who will call the next person to approach the counter. This kept the line moving and I was out in a few minutes. Sincerely, Rosemary

I have never given a review for a Target, but this one is exceptional…read more My mom and I were buying all sorts of different things and we didn't know where the heck we were going. I asked a lady by customer service where something was. I found it. Then we went back there and asked her where the next thing was, she told us, and we went and found, it so on and so forth. She told us when we are ready to check out to go to customer service and would allow us to bypass the long lines. My mom uses a walker, so it was greatly appreciated. Turns out she was the store manager... super nice lady! It's worth it to pay a little more than Walmart. Place is pretty nice inside.

Disappointing Customer Service and Management Response…read more I have been a loyal Target customer for many years, which made my recent experience at the La Verne Target especially disappointing. While checking out, I politely asked the cashier if the remainder of my purchases could be added to my current transaction. Instead of receiving a courteous explanation, I was met with what I perceived to be a dismissive attitude, an unfriendly glare, and a rude tone. I was simply told I would need to use a different card. It wasn't the answer that upset me--it was how I was treated. To make matters worse, the cashier pushed my purchases aside without placing them into bags or handling them with care. Hoping the situation could be resolved, I asked to speak with the manager, Rosa. Unfortunately, that interaction left me feeling even more disappointed. Rather than addressing my concerns about the cashier's conduct, Rosa focused on questioning the employee's identity. I provided the name displayed on the employee's name badge, which I had personally confirmed before leaving the checkout area. Rosa told me that was not the employee's name and asked me to describe what the employee looked like. When I asked what the employee's actual name was so I could accurately identify the individual, I was told that information was private. I then asked why employees were wearing name badges that did not match the names she was referencing, and she stated that employees do not necessarily wear their actual names. I understand that Target may allow employees to use preferred names or aliases for privacy and safety reasons. However, that was never explained to me during our conversation. Instead, I was left feeling confused, dismissed, and as though my concerns were not being taken seriously. What was most disappointing was not the initial interaction with the cashier, but the lack of empathy and professionalism shown when I attempted to report the issue. At no point did I feel that my concerns were acknowledged or that anyone genuinely attempted to resolve the situation. I left the store feeling unheard, disrespected, and undervalued as a customer. I have already contacted Target Guest Relations at corporate and hope this experience is reviewed so future customers are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve. I've sent posts to Target on all social media accounts available .

In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.
