For sure best food truck I've eaten from hands down and come to think of it, probably one of the best burgers I've had altogether. Burning Buns food truck was recently in Ontario at our office parking, along with other food trucks. I'm glad I made the decision to get one of their hamburgers -the Frankenstein. It was one of the best tasting, most flavorful burger I've had in a long time. Everything about the burger was perfect: from the grass fed Angus beef patty, the sliced ham and thick cut of bacon along with the leafy greens, pickles and tomato toppings. I'm normally not a big burger fan but this food truck is legit. I got the Southerner, which has BBQ, onion rings, delicious juicy beef patty, and various veggies. I put my order in during a fairly quiet period, so my order took no longer than a few minutes to finish getting prepared. The BBQ sauce was sweet and slightly spicy, the beef was very juicy and tasty, and the buns were super soft. So far this is one of the few burger trucks that have burgers that legitimately look like the burgers shown in their menu. read more

The Burning Buns Food truck comes to my apartment complex about once a month and we make sure to go every time! Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is wonderful. I am that annoying person who never just orders "as is" and they are always so pleasantly accommodating as I add bacon AND onion rings to my Jalapeño burger. I feel bad giving a low rating, but I had the carne asada fries today and thought they were poorly constructed. There was an abundance of fries, which I would have appreciated more had the toppings matched the portion. It was a bit disappointing. Only the top layer was dressed well, and even when I tried to spread everything to the bottom portion, it wasn't enough. The fries below the top layer were mostly dry and undressed. *Edit to address company's response* Since the person wants to be snarky and accuse me of complaining about too many fries, that was hardly the issue. The issue was that the toppings were not "generously stacked" as this person so claims and "with literally no room for more." Instead of trying to discredit my personal experience, it would be beneficial to acknowledge that perhaps an inconsistency occurred here. The way that this person responds to dissatisfied patrons really does say a lot. I'm sure that the food is great the majority of the time with no issues, but there's no shame in admitting that perhaps you don't always hit the mark. What you're trying to do here with clever comebacks to negative reviews is to deflect from the fact that you may have sold an inferior product, and to make other Yelpers feel like there's no possible way what we said of our experiences was true. read more

I have to admit, I have a burning desire for burning buns. At first I was a little skeptical because let's face it, burgers are burgers. There are so many burger joints and food trucks with the same concept, so how much more different can this really taste? I am SO glad I gave this truck a try. I am literally obsessed. I constantly am checking their Instagram for their next location because I just can't get enough. I honestly have probably tried everything on their menu so I'm going to literally go through everything, but before doing so I would like to mention that their employees are the friendliest people I have ever spoken to at a food truck. Usually, people just take your orders and are on to the next customer but this truck didn't treat me like a transaction, they seemed to really care about my order. They even suggested me to try different things without trying to up-sale me to spend more. I would also like to mention that everything they have made me did take a little time to prepare, but I have seen them start making my meal from scratch. I know that every time I come here, I am going to get fresh food. I would prefer a small wait for good tasting, quality food than a burger patty that was made an hour previous to me ordering that'll probably end up giving me the shits. So the wait is well worth it. The very first thing I tried was their "chipotle burger" & honestly when I'm craving a good burger, I'm always wanting to find their truck. The patties are HUGE, juicy, and full of so much flavor. They use brioche buns which I think are delicious, and different from the typical sesame seed buns that other places usually use. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables, & the chipotle sauce is seriously addicting. If they bottled it up and sold it, I would load up on that shit as if the apocalypse was about to occur. Now every time I go there, I always get extra chipotle sauce, even some extra to dip my fries into. I literally can not get enough. Their French fries are so fresh, and they are perfectly crisp. I honestly am not a huge fan of cheese, but I will definitely make an exception for their cheesy fries! If you aren't in the mood for a burger and fries, they also have these chicken basil wraps, that are actually filling. Usually when I order a wrap from somewhere, I get this really dry, lettuce wrap with barely any chicken or other promised filling. When I ordered a wrap from this truck, I literally couldn't even finish it. I had to share it with a friend because I wasn't anticipating the that it would actually be stuffed with so much chicken. I was pleasantly surprised that the lettuce did not overpower the rest of the wrap. Everything inside of it was perfectly portioned. So this is definitely a healthier option for you dieters. Another alternative to a burger is their quesadillas. If you aren't starving but want something to hold you over, order this! But even then, you will probably need to share because it's also HUGE. I think that's my favorite thing about this truck. You get what you pay for. I hate when things are so over priced and you get the tiniest portion. At burning buns, you will literally never leave hungry! Definitely go give this truck a try! You'll thank me for this when you try it, so you're welcome for the suggestion. (: The only thing you will regret is becoming addicted. Because I literally would go there every week. It has been a year since we had Burnin Buns at my work Ambry Genetics. My co-workers always liked this truck so it was time to bring them back. I am glad We did. I ordered the massive Cubano which was pretty damn tasty and easily could work for 2 meals. The roast Pork on it was delicious. It really didn't even need the ham which was a little rubbery but tasted good.. Lotsa mustard on this one. Bread was grilled perfect. Or harder in some cases since everything looks so delicious.. Between 3 of us we tried The Hulk, The Southerner, Creamy Sriracha, and Cheesy Fries. Have to mention all of the burgers were plentiful, juicy, and so very delicious. The Hulk lived up to its name, BIG Time! It was so massive it couldn't be finished. The Southerner was simply marvelous! Really enjoyed the BBQ sauce and onion rings. Creamy Sriracha was good but nothing to write home about. Presentation was very nice. Cheesy Fries are so amazingly yummy! The grilled onions truly make it a must try!! Seriously these are the best grilled onions I've ever had...AMAZING! Just had Frankenstein burger with the OG sauce and french fries. Just plain french fries. So I gave them 4 stars but I have to say it is solid 4.5 stars. It's tuff to give them five when there is a handful of other burger food trucks that have an even better burger. The Burger itself was pretty juicy had lots of flavor with bacon and ham added to the patty, but it did seem to get lost a little bit in the oversized bun. The fries were decent and it was the only order that was less than $10, But they just had some seasoning on them. I would definitely order another burger and try it again as I truly did enjoy it. I give it A solid top of the second tier burger rating or possibly bottom of the top tier. Side note: I just saw a guy take his tomato off of his Burger and throw it in the trash. Don't be a D! and just tell them no tomato if you don't want it. Enjoy! read more
