    California burrito with asada
    Spencer S.

The truck was part of the barktober festival at tewinkle park in Costa Mesa on Sat 10/21/23. They take credit card. Took about five minutes for one burrito when there was no other people in front of us. Friendly crew. We got a California burrito and split it between myself and wife. You get to choose the meat, and we went with asada. Hit the spot! Also came with some sauce on the side, which we didn't request, so must be part of the deal. Not overly huge serving, but enough to split for a lunch if you're not starving. If you're starving, just keep it to yourself! $15 including tax and small tip as of Oct 2023. Not bad pricing, considering most food trucks are ripoffs.

My husband and I attended a pet fair at Tewinkle Park in Costa Mesa. We were excited to see this truck was there for lunch. We split the carne asada quesadilla. It was packed with flavor and plenty of asada. Next, I'd love to try the tacos and the nachos. Service was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting this truck at a brewery or other event. This truck brings along a fun ambiance, perfect for any event.

The OC Taco Food Truck at our Avalon apartment complex. Tuesday is Food Truck night where different Food Trucks are invited for our residents. It's great to try something different and not have to drive anywhere. We had the Nacho fries with Carne Asada and Al Pastor. The sliced jalapeños gave it a little spice. The Carne Asada and Al Pastor was well cooked. Who doesn't like Nachos and crispy fries? It came with 2 salsas (red and green). Good flavor and heat. Liked their guacamole.

When I came to the OC, I had one fear Would I find a good taco truck with wonderful meat sear I came to the truck, and it was in a gas station, nice! They serve mexican food, with meat, beans, and rice I love my nachos, so here went the test I was happily delighted, this people don't mess Their asada and pastor are no joke they didn't disappoint, there is hope! OK, so I was really sad leaving the SGV and all my wonderful taco stands in el sereno. However, my friend found this place and we had to give it my LNTRCN (Late Night Taco Run Craving Nachos) test. Got the Asada and Pastor mix in my nachos and I was NOT disappointed. The food was flavorful, the chips weren't soggy, and they even added this little chili oil thingy, what?! But it works and it adds a different flavor that you'll savor! Solid 5 stars.

Tried some Nacho fries from the OC Tacos truck, was it delicious?...hmm yeah, was it worth the price? ..no. Lots of fries and not that much meat.

The prices have been raised since yelpers have been posting photos of the menu. Their burritos are now around $11...which is a bit steep in my opinion. I was able to customize my burrito as I absolutely hate having fries in mine, so I pretty much ordered an all-meat carne asada burrito with guac and pico. The meat was well seasoned and get this, it was the cleanest wrapped burrito I've ever seen in my entire life. The chef must have been studying origami for burritos or something like that, it was awesome! Even when I got to the bottom of the burrito, things were still wrapped nice and tight. 4 stars. If they could only drop the price of their food ... but I guess inflation has gotten the best of us.

I love nachos in general and I feel like this could have been done a little better for the price. I ordered the super Nacho's from this food truck with al pastor. The ingredients were great, chips were crispy, I just wish the ingredients were layered more! Presentation was ok. Overall, good food! I'll have to go back and get something else in the future.

Agua fresca de Jamaica & Tacos de pastor, carnitas & birria

Decided to give this taco truck a try. They had all types of good Mexican food plus the agua frescas are big portions. They only have one size but trust me, that's more then enough lol customer service was good too. The amount of meat they put on the tacos is really good. They are not stingy with the portions It's worth a try!

I've been walking past this truck everyday for the past month now and finally caved when I was hangry and needed a California burrito STAT. Their OC Burrito is huge! I upgraded and got half asada and half pastor for $1.50, which really hit the spot. The meats are nice and charred, super juicy and flavorful, and the crunch of the fries held up well. The pastor was thick-cut which was satisfying, I just personally wish there was more sweetness to the meat. The to-go order came with a salsa, chili oil, and slice of lemon. Altogether, despite the huge portion, the burrito was pretty balanced, wasn't greasy, and left me feeling happy. Also off the menu, they sell churros too! This truck also accepts cash or credit card, which is very convenient. The staff are super friendly. I even saw one of them come out to fill a bowl of water for pets, which was super heartwarming! I'd be happy to come back again and am glad to have an awesome taco truck within walking distance of my home.

    OC Quesadilla! Really delicious

Been wanting to try out this food truck since I heard great reviews about their food. I had the OC Quesadilla which had 3 types of meat and 4 types of salsa in the box. You could taste the quality in the meat and honestly 3 of us ate from it since the portion was huge. My husband had the tacos and was pleasantly surprised that they were served with cheese and good portion of meat. Thank you for a great meal!

This review is long overdue. You must try this place! I've been coming here a few months now and I love their food. Everything is so delicious and fresh. The pastor and birria meats are my favorite. The fish tacos are also pretty tasty and have a little kick to it. All meals come with salsa, but honestly the meats have enough flavor to be eaten without it. Fernando and Kim have the best customer service and always are suggesting new things to try. I recently hired them for catering the Troy Boys Basketball team awards luncheon (over 60 families in attendance) and they did not disappoint. From customer service to the timing of the yummy food, everyone really enjoyed themselves. I'm sure they will be getting a lot of new customers. Thank you Fernando and Kim! See you soon.

My buddy and I went on a bike ride up Huntington Beach boardwalk. We rode about 5 miles and came upon this food truck. The menu pictures looked delicious. OMG! The pictures don't do this food justice. The best tacos and french fries ever! The next time I'm catering a party, I'm calling them. This delicious food truck is a authentic taco restaurant with great prices. The Agua frescas is refreshing also. Just what I needed for the bike ride back. We did not have electric bikes either. It was all legs.

Flavorful and fresh. Had the chicken tacos and they were better than Ola on 2nd and PCH!

Scotty took what was already a great date night and made it truly memorable. Not only was he the best server we've had since we started dining at Puesto, but I'd go so far as to say he was one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Scotty had a calm, understated demeanor that was part of his charm. He was genuine, attentive, extraordinarily kind, and somehow managed to keep my Diet Coke with lime full the entire evening. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and was always there at just the right moment. Best of all, he laughed at my dad jokes. While the food was outstanding, Scotty made the experience even better. His service elevated an already great meal into an exceptional evening. We will absolutely be requesting Scotty's section every time we visit Puesto Anaheim.

The restaurant is located in the middle of Downtown Disney, with the entrance tucked off to the side. Just make sure you don't mistake it for Centrico! The service was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted by a hostess downstairs, who then had another hostess upstairs escort us to our table. Since the dining area is upstairs, you can either take the stairs or use the elevator. Our server, Alyssa, was incredibly attentive and helpful. She gave my fiancée some great recommendations and helped her make a few choices. The gentleman who brought out our food was also very informative and took the time to explain each dish as he delivered it. The food and drinks, from the appetizers all the way to dessert, were amazing. We started with drinks. My fiancée ordered the Maya-Tai, while I got the Sangria. We both enjoyed our drinks, but we ended up ordering two more glasses of the Sangria because we liked it that much! The first food item to arrive was the half-dozen oysters (not pictured because we were too impatient!). They tasted incredibly fresh, although we did encounter some shell debris in a few of them. We also shared the Pulpo Enamorado, which is grilled octopus served with tuna aioli, salsa macha, and pickled vegetables. This was one of our favorite dishes, and I highly recommend it as a shareable small plate. My fiancée ordered the Enchiladas de Pollo--shredded chicken wrapped in corn tortillas and served with salsa verde, avocado, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and queso fresco. I ordered the Lamb Barbacoa, which was slow-cooked and served with a pinto bean purée, mint jocoque, sweet pickled jalapeños, and a side of corn tortillas. Both entrees were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all impressed us, and we definitely recommend giving this place a try. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu--and, of course, getting the Sangria again. I highly recommend getting the pitcher if you're dining with a group!

Kinda reminded me of the bread used for a grilled cheese sandwich. :) 2) Carne Asada ($66): 12 oz new york steak with hoja santa & quesillo doblada, goat cheese fondue, oven-roasted tomatoes, shishito peppers, and fingerling potatoes. Steak was nicely seasoned and tender. Loved the fingerling potatoes. 3) Cochinita pibil ($42): The Guerrero-style pork shank literally fell off the bone and was quite flavorful. My only complaint was that it didn't coming with enough corn tortillas. It only came with 3. If you wanted more, it would be an extra cost. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top.
