I just wanted to say how very pleased I was with the service of Burns Pest Elimination and in particular with one of its employees by the name of Mike (Route 57). Mike was called to my home home when I was in a panic as what seemed like thousands of bees attacking the entire back of my house. I was very frightened and nervous that they would get into my home or attic! The whole incident seemed like a scene out of the movie THE BIRDS except this was THE BEES. At the time of my appointment the bee action had moved on - or at least they were not swarmed around my back yard. Mike thoroughly checked my home to see if they came from my property/house and did not find evidence that they originated from my property. He told me a lot of information about bees that I did not know before, which actually gave me a sense of calm rather than fear. He took the time to explain that they were probably confused because they were driven from their previous home and were searching for the new one nearby. Well he was absolutely right - because he was able to locate hundreds of bees clustered together in the park very high up in a tall tree just over the fence of my backyard. It was near impossible to reach these bees but he did it! He not only got them out of the tree but most of them actually were killed with a chemical he was able to use. He warned me that some escaped so I might see more flying around in a day or two. I was thoroughly educated as to what to expect! Two days later he returned to recheck my yard and the area where he treated previously and found some activity in a small utility box in the park along the fence on the park side behind my house. He treated that area and explained to me what to watch for during the next few days. All in all, he was able to calm my fears which were one of an not so calm old lady! He was extremely kind and courteous and above all patient with me. Thank you Mike for being such an asset to your company. You are very knowledgeable, efficient, patient and professional in every way. I highly recommend you and Burns Pest Elimination to anyone who is experiencing a pest problem. read more

I've been with Burns Pest Elimination ever since meeting the owners back in the 90's. We were all members of the Arizona Multihousing Ass'n when I worked for Cox Communications. They do a great job of keeping all sorts of creepy crawlies at bay and I recommend them often to my friends. Not the cheapest in town but reasonable and I feel safe and cared for with them. I'm writing today though to share what I've noticed about their employees over the years and my current 'bug man' in particular. It's been very refreshing to see Burns' primary focus is on hiring very high quality associates to come into their customers' homes. I was so sad when my main guy, Bob Ledgerwood, left after 10 years. Just the best guy ever! So positive and very involved in the community as well as doing a great job at work. However, my new guy, George Ruiz, is certainly giving dear ole Bob a run for his money. I can tell George is a natural-born teacher at heart and notices all sorts of things around my property I would likely overlook, being a single Mom, female homeowner. Everything from problem cracks in my foundation to giving me the real scoop on the danger level and how to handle the new scorpions that have recently cropped up at my 93 year old Mom's house, also in Arcadia. For some reason pigeons love building their condos and outhouses on my roof, so the entry to my house would be covered with a plethora of poop ALL THE DAMN TIME. It made me nuts, so I hired a company that said ugly spikes would do the trick (I won't say their name but they really like the color red and overcharging people) 5689 spikes later and the b#%ch$s didn't budge. Then one day, as if out of nowhere (ok, I called her) Ericka from Burn's in Vegas came to check out the pigeon condos and outhouses, and she was like "Oh no they didn't, these b#%ch$s need to go"!! She tagged in the all-mighty pigeon whisperer 'FRANKY' to save the world (AKA my roof and sanity), and he did just that! Franky...what can I say about Franky? He came in like a G, laid down the law (and the traps) and suddenly my sanity returned as fast as the pigeons packed up and moved on out. Franky kicks serious bird-butt and deserves a major raise, or at least a backpack full of cash. We had an inspection of our home today with Radni & Rusty; they were friendly and very professional. Radni is very respectful of people and your property. He treated me with respect and honesty; I have not seen or heard that in a long time from many people. Rusty was very thorough in his inspection and a very friendly doggo. He "nose" his stuff! They completed a comprehensive inspection of my home, gave me an honest appraisal of the situation and a very fair price for the next steps for the treatment and protection of our home and family. I can't speak highly enough of this team! I had such a great experience, I'd invite them to dinner! We have been a Burns customer for close to 15 years and have nothing but good things to say about the company. They've been available when we need them and the service is outstanding and all questions are answered. I discovered some unfortunate activity in my orange tree and in the corner of my yard that was obviously roof rats. While I thought I had the problem taken care of on my own, they eventually made it into our roof. I called Burns and the staff has been nothing short of amazing. They came out the next day to inspect the property, including climbing in the roof to check out the activity. Once it was verified that we definitely had some critters, Jim C came out two days later to pre-bait. We heard a feeding frenzy that night, and two days later Jim came back to set the traps for real. We had trap activity within an hour! The next day we found two dead rats in the attic....in less than 18 hours! Today Jim came to do the exclusion on the house to make sure no more get in our house again. He was professional, informative, and courteous. Burns hit a home run! First I want to say that I have no issue with the weekly technician. The reason I am giving one star is because of their branch manager in Las Vegas. I have never dealt with such a condescending, unprofessional person like Becky. She has been very vocal about how she thinks the corona virus is fake and how policies are, in her words, "stupid". This makes me worried that she is putting not only her customers but my customers at risk with her lack of concern. Secondly anytime she or her other manager, not sure his name but he is a big guy, have done an inspection, my customers constantly complain at the lack of professionalism. They treat my customers like they are bottom feeders. Becky has an "I'm better than you" attitude and seems to shame you if you have pest issues. She has zero business being a manager of a company that provides customer and public services. I am currently in the process of finding another company to work with. read more

We have used Burns for our monthly pest control for over 10 years and have had great results working with a very professional & friendly service technician (Jason). So, when we realized that we had a pretty big bird problem on our roof, we called them first. Glad we did! We chose a very aggressive (kind of costly) approach to dealing with the problem (bird jolt flat track) as we wanted complete results, that would last for years & years to come, quickly. They did a great job! Zach Jenkins (our Exclusion Technician) did the installation. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and so conscientious about the quality of the work he was doing. We were very impressed and best of all, our roof is clean again, we have no birds on it or around our yard or pool waterfall feature (where they were drinking & leaving a mess too). I needed a pest control service. Rodni was the first and last person I saw. He was great. Even when I was at my breaking point with everything he took the time to try to calm me down. He walked me through the whole process with what to do and what not to do. When he came the final time, he answered all my questions. He was very nice and a great person to have during the difficult time. Isaac came to do my treatment. Due to recieving incorrect information from the Customer Service department, I was not fully prepared but he gave me extra time to prepare. He also came out during the treatment to let me know what was going on. He also gave me pointers so hopefully I don't need the service in the future. These guys were awesome and deserve recognition!!! I was at my breaking point through the process and they both stayed calm to help me the best they could!!! I recently had exposure to bed bugs through my work and was concerned I had transported them home; I needed a thorough and trustworthy inspection to ensure peace of mind. I called Burns on a coworker's recommendation and could not be more pleased with their service. The initial phone consult/salesperson, Kyle, was extremely helpful and spent time answering multiple questions, and our technician, Radni, was top-notch. He did a canine inspection with Rusty the dog. It was a fantastic experience and worth every penny! Radni's knowledge base was obvious and his customer service skills were excellent - a great combination of technical and people skills. I would recommend their service without reservation and am truly grateful for the peace of mind this gave me. We did not need any treatment as no evidence for bed bugs was found. Several months back I was going to leave your company and take my business elsewhere for the fact my previous technican was not doing the job up to my standards. After speaking with one of your representative on the phone (by the way was real nice herself) persuade me to give you guys one more shot. And I am certainly glad I did because the technician I have now I could not have asked for better tech. Not only is he a professional and courteous but I believe he goes over and beyond the task that he is asked to do. I can't even give them any stars, but I must give them one in order to submit this review. I had a great conversation with the sales rep Ben and even decided that I would for once in my life enter into a contract for pest control vs. calling on an as-needed basis. Well, my appointment was scheduled and no one called and no one showed. I waited around on a Saturday and the tech didn't show. I didn't have any contact info for him so I tried to call the office, but they were closed. I did contact Burns that following week and no one knew that they missed my appointment. Then they decided to bill me. This was in January. I have since spoken to them twice and emailed them, and they have confirmed that my supposed contract has been cancelled, yet they continue to bill me. Why should I pay for service that was never rendered? read more

Jim Calhoun has been the best Burns tech to come to our property for pest service. The Burns office does not forward critical service information to the techs, resulting in many ongoing problems for our community. Techs rarely check into our office as requested multiple times, and when Burns sends them with bad address info, the techs just choose a unit to service and bill as if the job was completed correctly. After months of calls and complaints, techs still show up unscheduled, unannounced, and unaware of what they were sent to do. Jim is the only tech we can trust to do everything correctly and write a proper service report afterward. Jim is the last one left in the only 3 dependable techs sent to our property. Rico quit, and David got his route changed. It is rare we have a positive experience with anybody else. read more

Burns is the ONLY place I go, or will ever go for all my pest elimination needs. I bought my house a year and a half ago and started using Burns. I have never even considered moving my services to any other company. Michael is my technician, and he is the absolute BEST. He is extremely detail oriented, and has taught me a great deal about pest elimination, and prevention. I look forward to seeing him every month. I have only seen TWO bugs in my home since I bought it-and they were dead! Needless to say, it's quality product with outstanding service by Michael, as well as the rest of the team. We had an issue with field mice at one of our commercial facilities and Burns Pest Control did a great job taking care of us. At the time of our problem I did not know who to call but happened to notice a work truck of theirs down the street so I pulled the info off their logo and glad I did...Giovanni called me back right away and set up a time to come to the property and evaluate what needed to be done. A couple days later a tech was sent over to start the process with follow up visits every week until the issue was resolved. It's refreshing to work with people that know what they are doing and do what they say they are going to do and I appreciate the service we received from Giovanni and Sydney with Burns Pest Control. We have been using Burns for years now, and I've always been happy with the services they provide. Recently, I have been SO impressed with the level of customer service provided. I work with Kristin for scheduling of services, and she is always prompt and courteous in working with our schedules and service needs; her attentiveness and willing to go above and beyond are noteworthy and so greatly appreciated. We also work with a technician named Dale, who has also gone above and beyond in the onsite service he provides. Dale takes the time to explain services performed, recommended follow ups or further actions, and in general is a pleasure to work with. Burns Pest Elimination is a great company and I have many different services with them. I trust them to protect my most expensive and important assets- my home, wife and dog.  They protect my home from termites with a Termite Warranty that I can renew every year. Also, I have a Weed program with a year warranty for all of those troublesome weeds (front, side and back yards). If I see any weeds, I just call them for a respray. Also, I have regular service on the interior and exterior for pest service as my wife hates spiders, crickets and bark scorpions our home. Thankfully, that is no longer a common experience as Thomas A and Jerry R keep my property pest free. Plus, they use chemicals that is safe around my dog which I appreciate and they never forget to close the backyard gate. read more

ROBERT MORTIMER truly surpassed all my expectations!!! He went ABOVE and BEYOND the service Burns Pest Control provides and words cannot express how great of a job Robert did!! I was ready to get a different pest control company until Robert showed up! He literally climbed down into my basement window wells and removed all the bugs, webs and wasp nests! Our house was built in 1982 so you can imagine how many webs were down there! Not only that, I saw a snake in one last week and told him he didn't have to go in that well and he did anyways!! Burns needs more of Roberts as techs and you need to keep him around! I have been working with Burns for the last 5 years on different properties that I manage and they have always gone above and beyond. Even when I feel like pulling my hair out and that something is never going to end all I have to do is get a hold of Monica and she makes EVERYTHING happen! When it comes to bugs I know I am a bit of a drama queen because they truly freak me out that bad. However, Burns is always patient and understanding!
