So as you maybe aware, there is currently and avocado recall. I get home after ordering my burrito with avocado, ready to tear into it because I LOVE these burritos. But before I take a bite my husband tells me about the recall. I don't want Listeriosis, (an infection caused by food contaminated with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes). Though I would love to loose a few pounds, I don't want to have nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. And beware my pregnant counterparts, particular bacteria can caused miscarriages, still birth, premature labor, and/or life threatening infections for your new born. So you would think that this store would take it more serious when I customer calls to enquirer about the safety of the food the sell. Nope, I called an was told by someone who identified themselves as an employee that he is not sure. It would be up to the company they buy their avalados from to recall. Hmm... really? I guess that it's okay to not check if your avocados are safe for consumption of your customers. I'm glad we mean so much to you. Will not be eating here again. Really nice people and great service. The restaurant was very clean. I got the pork burrito for myself and the chicken for my husband. Tried all three house hot sauces and although none were what I would consider truly hot, they all had a good flavour. I felt the price was just fine -- each burrito could easily be two meals -- We will definitely be back! read more

Me and my Girlfriend stopped by last night for taco Tuesday. The Food was great and the service was also great. We moved here from Indiana and haven't been able to find an authentic Mexican restaurant until now. Defiantly best Mexican food in the area. I really want to like this place. All of the ingredients look good, and a nice variety, but I have tried it 3 times over the last couple of years and every time the food is so damn salty I can barely eat it. If it was just one time I went, I thought it could be a fluke, but 3 times over 2 years is a pattern. If they would just cut back on the salt it would be 4 stars. But as it is, I won't be back. One of the best (and biggest) burrito in town. Friendly staff and quick on to go orders. Salsa has different flavor than anything I've tried before and it was delicious! My only complaint...wish they served lettuce in their burrito bowl instead of rice. Nevertheless, I will be returning though to try their quesadillas! read more

This place is so good and the employees have always been friendly. It is a simple, short-but-sweet menu, which makes sense because the food is made right in front of you, with your choice of the fixings. Their hot-sauce selection is awesome, and I love that they have 3 types of fresh salsa. Sometimes some of the tables are left dirty and need to be wiped down more often, so that is my only real complaint. read more

While the burrito isn't cheap you do get a hefty product. With assembly line food prep similar to Chipotle customers can choose from a wide selection of ingredients to customize their menu item. The menu is also simplified making it so you dont get bogged down trying to decide what to order. I've honestly never been disappointed. Also the hot sauce is awesome. read more

Love Love Love this place! My wife and i go here all the time and they take care of you. My burrito's are always huge and they give you avacado for free!!! I am not sure about the previous review saying "Why dont they use gloves". because every day i go in they wash their hands, or have just washed their hands before they make my food. The place is set up like chipotle where they make your burrito's and then you go sit down, but this place has tons of tastey sauces.. each time i try a different sauce to put on my burrito and sure sometimes i dont like the sauce, but the burrito is tastey without the sauces. Love me some Burrito Bandito. Been eating their food since they opened in Redding years ago. Fresh and fast food that isn't as salty as Chipotle or as bland as Aca Taco. My husband loves taquerias and taco trucks, I won't eat food from truck so this is one place we can both agree upon. read more

Groooosssss....I was in yesterday evening and ordered a burrito. The employee that was making my burrito did not put the tortilla on protective wrap, he was sliding it down the table letting the tortilla absorb whatever juices were spilled over. Part of it was hanging over the edge, I couldn't even focus because it was so disgusting. I am pretty sure that this is cross contamination and definitely a health code violation. I advise you to not go here, absolutely disgusting food and overpriced! read more

Went here for dinner when we were in Chico and loved it! This place is definitely a favorite when visiting Chico, since we go to their restaurants in Redding too. The staff in Chico worked very hard to make sure everything we had was delicious! HUGE portions at a great price. We will definitely be back!!! Can't wait to try the quesadillas!! read more

Delicious food, fast service. Try the machaca (shredded beef). Better than Chipotle, and has cabbage and delicious hot sauce. They don't charge extra for avocado, which is rare! The only thing I wish they had is the fajita vegetables! read more

My husband and I just had lunch here for the first time and our food was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about either. It was a typical faux Mexican place with somewhat fresh ingredients. That being said, I have to say that their food is WAY overpriced for what you're getting. We had a vegetarian quesadilla and a bean burrito with two sodas and our lunch was $22. To me, $22 is a little steep for two tortillas, a little cheese, some beans and two sodas. We will definitely not be eating there again. read more

Whether you get the burrito or the bowl both are excellent. Choices are great and the staff is always really friendly and neat. Love the hot sauce choices as well as the salsa. The only draw back is having to pay extra for the chips. So much better then Chipotle read more
