I'm sure you know what that's like; the steak was minimal and so chewy you could barely ingest it. The chicken quesadilla had almost no chicken, it was just cold cheese in a lackluster tortilla. It came out quick and hot and the taste was pretty good. Service: we drove by Taco Bell and the line was around the block. So it was really nice when we were the only people in line for the drive through here. The staff over the intercom and at the window were very polite and courteous. Food: great for the price. You get a lot of food. The shrimp fajita burrito was a little dry but tasted really good when you added a little salsa or sauce. The burrito that had the fries in it was also good. This is my favorite location of all the burrito mariachis ! I tried their new stacker and was obsessed. The ingredients here are all fresh and good quality. Think Taco Bell but with fresh SAFE ingredients. Their homemade queso is also delicious it beats moes in my book. But make sure you get the homemade queso instead of the regular one, both good but the homemade one is the best. read more

Most of my experiences eating here have been through take-out, and eating in. The few times I've eaten inside-fantastic! The place is clean, the staff are courteous, and the portion size for the price is amazing! Due to dietary restrictions I only get their burrito bowls, but for $10 you can take the bowl home and make several of your own tacos or burritos! Their bowls are delicious!! Highly recommended! Here's why I give this place three stars: the drive through. You can only purchase a burrito bowl (the kind you customise) inside, otherwise you can only choose from the menu. My friend and I have had to wait roughly 20 minutes in the drive through line for $6 worth of food on more than one occasion. I suspect it could be due to staff shortages, which is very understandable, considering covid and inflation. Not sure if slow staff, or new staff could be a contribution, however a 20 minute wait for a $6 burrito is ridiculous! I also think getting orders wrong is a part of it too, since I ordered food from them off GrubHub recently, and they got my order wrong, despite having called beforehand. I instructed them to add cheddar cheese, and leave out all sauces (which I cannot have due to dietary restrictions), however when my food arrived the cheddar cheese was missing, and they drizzled a white sauce all over the top anyway! Thankfully I was refunded my money. These problems can be easily be solved with better time management and paying attention to details. I'm still interested in eating here, but I know to only eat-in or order my food inside and take it to go so I can get exactly what I want. read more

If you like Mexican food, but want something a bit more authentic, to support a smaller business, just a change of pace from Moe's or Chipotle, Mariachi doesn't disappoint. By "authentic" I mean more straightforward seasonings, but by no means "bland" IMHO, which some folks might say about more authentic Mexican (even though they use an array of seasonings). Had the fajita burrito, 3.5-4 stars, the tacos are 5 star. The chips are delicious and fresh, but I would definitely appreciate a few more salsa options. They are very accommodating with letting you try as much of the salsas as you like, which is great customer service. The guacamole is delicious and smooth! read more

Ordered a shrimp fajita bowl...they gave me raw shrimp in my bowl you could clearly see it was still gray...YUCK! What's even worse my granddaughter ordered crunchy shrimp in her fajita bowl she also received raw shrimp in a crunchy coating still raw..My advice is only order the shrimp if you enjoy eating raw gray shrimp. The employees here at the Patchogue location decided to close the store more than 2 hours early. They just sat inside doing nothing. Refused to take orders through the drive through, in store, or through DoorDash, and wouldn't answer the phone. Not even a sign in the door saying they were closing early. They just glared at me and shooed me away. I've had their food before and it's great but their service is non existent. read more
