This has quickly become one of our favorite places. I never would have thought Asian Mexican fusion was my thing, but man, it is. Everything I've had is delicious. I love their tacos. I love the street corn. I love the sweet plantains. Chef's kiss to it all! And it's been good both as take-out and also in the restaurant. Omg! Where do I begin! Drove from Staten Island on a work project in Riverhead. We searched for the best place to get food and drinks, we originally had found a place down the street, however found parking right outside Dirty taco, and boy are we happy we came across this gem! Our Server Sal I believe was awesome! He gave us awesome suggestions. We started with the dirty Nachos 10/10 ordered some guacamole, queso, with chips and Salsa and not sure what the salsa was but wow it was different 10/10 then we each ordered some tacos which again did not disappoint!!! The ambiance of the place was quiet as we did show up early on a Wednesday afternoon but I definitely recommend giving this place a try, drinks I almost forgot 10/10... don't give this place a doubt try them out!! We were greeted right away and the door was held open for us. Nice welcome. Table for two on a Saturday evening. The table was a nice corner spot, next to the windows. Perfect for our date night. Jay was our server. He was very knowledgeable of the drinks and food, and assisted us in picking out our drinks and food. He also didn't rush us. I had a Skinny Margarita (not on the menu) and my husband had the Spicy Blood Orange. Both were delicious and I loved the flavor of the Spicy Blood Orange so much that I ordered one as my second drink. The guacamole appetizer was good. But the tacos were amazing. I been wanting to come here for a long time and I was at my in-laws house one day and they had a gift certificate they never used and gave it to us and we had a put it to good use. We came here on a Wednesday for date night and I love Patchogue. I'm a city boy and it reminds of Ditmars in Astoria or Steinway and they have a lot of cool places to eat and bar hop. For appetizers we went with the chicken potstickers that were a 10/10. Cooked to perfection and packing a lot of flavor, serve with a great dipping sauce. I got a shrimp taco, carne asada taco, and a short rib taco. My fiancé got a shrimp taco and some king of chicken taco that was mehhh. My favorite taco was the short rib, followed by the shrimp taco. Carbs asada was good but the short rib I'll def come back for. The in house margaritas here are top tier and packing a punch. They're definitely not cheap with the alcohol and very good and refreshening. I definitely will be back and want a try the smith town location on the next visit. If you love tacos and want a try a new taco spot, I highly recommend this place. They have multiple location all over the island in Nassau county and Suffolk. I look forward to trying other spots but this by far the best Mexican chain I tried to date and will be back. read more

Found out from the owner, Will, that the restaurant has been open for more than a year. Not sure how we walked by this place and never checked it out. Asian Mexican fusion restaurant. There were 2 prices on the menu. The first price was for cash, the second price was for a credit card. The daily specials were a few dollars cheaper than the regularly priced items. This place doesn't skimp on the ingredients. Food was fresh and tasty. From the items we ordered we were pretty satisfied though we have our favorites. We were expecting the price to be higher but it's reasonably priced. The front of the restaurant can be noisy with with the music playing in the background. It doesn't hinder your conversation with your table mates. The back of the restaurant has a few tables and a bit more quieter and more intimate. There is a bar on the right side. With the industrial ambiance asking with Asian Mexican vibe, it's very eclectic and it works. Was admiring the street art on the wall and I wanted to take a picture when the employee, who turned out to be the owner, Will, said sure. I felt more comfortable taking the pictures since I got the ok. He showed us the patio and the artwork with various flowers has symbolic meanings to the owner. We asked for a table for 2 and was promptly shown to a table. Shout-out to our server, Nina, for being patient with us as we put in our order, checking in with us, and filling our water.
