I came in on 1/2/25 for a breakfast burrito after finding reviews about the breakfast burritos. The staff was really helpful. I ordered the red chorizo, breakfast burrito, and also a tamale. Both were delicious and Sandra let me know I can have tamales shipped. I may have to look into it. There is something about a good southwest tamale you can't find in Georgia. Very popular in my neck of the woods. Food is generous and even adjusted for personal tastes (chile, sides,etc.). I've always had cheerful service wherever I go. Belen tends to have lines but I believe it is the original. Los Lunas is speedier and has outdoor seating. Haven't been to the Albuquerque location. Ambiance is NOT why one goes here so the tables and chairs are rudimentary. Patrons mostly go to grab a good meal and drive on. read more

After a night of serious drinking, we needed something hearty to address the hangover. We were going to do McDonald's, which SUCKED (see other Yelp) so we found this place. We hit the drive thru and got two breakfast burritos. They were awesome!! The flavors, it's fresh, and the chili is on point! We will visit here again before we leave it was so good!! read more

I think this will be my last visit to this location. My burrito was slightly over $5.00. I ordered a potato and green chile on a whole wheat tortilla. First off, saying it was messy would be a significant understatement. I wasn't able to eat it as a burrito. It was a huge disaster. Luckily I had a fork in the car. I live in Albuquerque and have never tried this we were driving home from Belen and hungry so we decided to stop. I ordered the build your own burrito and the lady helping acted like she was going to go kill the pig herself. The lady in the red t-shirt was very abrupt with me and didn't like that I had lots of questions. The young lady in the yellow shirt was very helpful and nice. The place is extremely casual. Pretty expensive for a burrito place I was expecting it to be a very large burrito for $7. A $7 burrito with meat cheese and potatoes only if you would like to add lettuce or tomatoes it's extra if you would like to add beans it's extra if you like to add meat its $2 extra. I definitely will not be returning. On a positive note the green chili was amazing and extra hot if you like it and the red chili was really good great flavor and medium. read more

The food is great but does not live up to the name " burritos in an instant". Fast, fresh and delicious are the words to describe this no-frills eatery. The lack of atmosphere might make newcomers turn around and walk out without sampling the food -- big mistake. Quality ingredients matched with some of the best red and green chili in New Mexico make the bland surroundings obsolete with the first bite. We placed an order through doordash and whoever bagged the order at the restaurant didn't put all of the burritos in the the bag. Doordashers aren't allowed to open the bags to make sure the whole order is there (though I feel they could confirm with the restaurant employees that everything is there before leaving). I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, and the lady who answered the phone didn't seem to care and then hung up on me. We like the food there, but the customer service and accuracy of getting orders correct needs work. read more

Overpriced and perhaps get some more help in the kitchen. I get that a restaurant owner prides themselves on their food, but $13 for nachos in a take home box.... and that's if you don't get a scoop (tablespoon at best) of guacamole. I've been fortunate enough to get a burrito from burritos Alinstante over the years and each time they never fail to please. I look at some of the reviews and the overall rating for this establishment, and I just can't understand why it's not rated more highly. These guys rock when it comes to making what tastes and seems like a homemade I mean like your grandma made burrito. No extra stuff it's a fresh soft chewy flour tortilla wrap wrapping around big chunks of meat. if you want green chili or red chili and slather that in there and you be aware that's fiery stuff. Today was no exception. I ordered a carne adovada burrito with green chili and it was awesome. Messy, because they put more stuffing in it than the tortilla can hold, and muy picante. The green chili tasted so good, I can't imagine it's anything but cooked fresh and who knows maybe it's even hatch chilies. The pork chunks were the size of your thumbnail and chewy and tender, just as they should be. I don't get to Belen very often and even today I was thinking I don't really need a burrito but as soon as I saw the Alinstante sign I knew I had to stop. As always, I will be back! read more

Expensive for the low quality of food. Purchased nachos & a side of guacamole no drinks or anything else. It was $23 dollars. Are you kidding me?! On top of the high price the guacamole was brown like it had been sitting out all day. Disgusting! In the guacamole there were full slices of avocados that were hard as a rock. Very poor quality of food. I highly suggest you go anywhere else to eat. read more

Very upset at the fact that this restaurant doesn't encourage face masks for customers, they don't even have signs. The fact that you have to pay for a bag to carry your food is ridiculous. If I order a burrito that is close to eight dollars, I simply want it to be what I ordered. A carne adobada burrito should not be all beans, but carne adobada. I used to love Burritos Allisante. The last time I have ordered a number 3, I have got bone from the meat which felt like a rock when I bit into it. I took it out and inspected it. Yuck! My family loves this place and it is usually convenient to go through the drive thru. Wait times are really long if there are 2 or more vehicles ahead. Calling in an order before you head there is a good idea. Breakfast is usually good but the red chile isn't good...like they changed the recipe or it's undercooked. Several times before I ordered a plain potato, bean, green chile and cheese burrito. There was a rock in there from the potatoes or beans.(again hurt my teeth). When someone offers me a burrito from Burritos Allisante, I decline. read more

I prefer to walk in to place my order because it's typically faster than the drive through and the workers are friendly people. The service is fast and the food is consistent. Diners BEWARE!!! We got 2 of the #6's (Chicken Fajita) yesterday and 1 order of pasole....Both of us got sick and threw up all night not to mention the other end! My chicken was so salty I couldn't eat it and the pasole was nothing but a bowl of paste with small gummy balls in it......We will NEVER be back!!!!
