This place used to be my favorite taqueria in Corte Madera, but after my most recent visit, I'll most likely won't be returning. The super burrito I ordered was extremely small, about the size of my iPhone, which was really disappointing for the price and the chips were overly salty. Unfortunately, the customer service also wasn't great. I know I haven't visited them in a few years, but It seems like something has changed with the menu prices. Menu prices have gone up while portions have gone down, which is a terrible combination. But the burrito was good 7/10. Sadly, I didn't have that experience that I had in the past. read more

We are fans of Burritoville, and now for the most amazing reason! My husband was extremely ill and it was not clear that he would make it. I hadn't eaten in a long time and felt unwell. My daughter in law ran out to get me a fish taco and they made it exactly the way I wanted. When I went back to get one for my husband, they said they would make him whatever he wanted. You can't top that for amazing service and great food and care! We love them. My husband is on a restricted diet and they are helping him enjoy his food and keeping me sane. I've been eating at burritville for 20+ years, since they were in the red hill shopping center in San Anselmo. I like that I can still get a "baby" burrito, for those days when I'm not super hungry. The quality and consistency has declined a bit over the past few years though, so this is no longer my steady, go-to taqueria. But still a nice lunch spot in my new taqueria rotation. read more

Burritoville is located in downtown Larkspur so parking could be a bit tricky. I thought my shrimp burrito was very good and flavorful. Their hot is not very spicy, in my opinion, but it did have a nice kick. Shrimp was perfectly grilled and seasoned, all the add ons were really good (I got the supreme one so it included guacamole and sour cream). You can order ahead or order at the counter and their to go orders are pretty fast. The place is pretty small but they do have several tables if you want to dine in. read more

Don't go here unless you want subpar food for an enormous price. No manager to talk to about issues, no one there that speaks English to voice concerns. Who eats here? Oh ya all their friends and relatives. Can't get an order correct but that makes sense bc they can't read an order properly. My fault for giving them a chance. I'm seriously disappointed. I'm 27 years old and I've been coming here since I was 4 years old. I lived in Larkspur for over a decade and even when we didn't live in Larkspur, I would beg my parents to take me to burrito Ville for dinner growing up. Softball games, swim practice, ballet rehearsals, walking around town with my friends, all had one thing in common growing up - "lets go to burrito Ville!" Even on an occasional Bad day, my dad would bring me burritoville lunch to cheer me up. There have been years of my life where we got burritoVille consistently , at least three or four times a week. Die hard fans. The salsa being one of our favorite parts. And the friendly cashier when we were younger. As I entered my teens, I started to notice that the cashiers would be extremely rude to everyone. I would always hear the same thing. The foods good but man those cashiers are so stingy and rude! Didnt deter us all together. Then the salsa bar went away. The prices spiked more than you'd expect AND portions went down a lot. Tonight I received the rudest service along with a false advertisement on the website of the price ( it saying $6 bean and cheese burrito, the associate saying its $7.55 - which is illegal) its about the principle. Im expecting the same size bean and cheese burrito. What i got was a miserable excuse for even a childs burrito. (Something Ive nostalgically ordered for 22 years. It was the smallest burrito I have ever seen in my entire life. Needless to say, I don't know if I will ever be returning - one of the biggest disappointments ever in Marin County history. Have in mind I asked him for four of the teeny tiny tablespoon of salsas, that's one of the reasons I come there. And he was like how about one. Like whats that gonna do. this is so messed up. They're just putting in a small chopped up chile rellano anymore. The only other reliable item is the burger & fries but the price keeps going up and the portions smaller. Still, I feel like I was effed in the A the last time I ordered the chile rellano burrito. I won't be going back. Others I know have experienced the exact same. Cute little place for Mexican food in downtown Larkspur. We had a delicious chicken mole burrito and pastor burrito, and the guacamole was amazing! We eat out for Mexican food quite often, and this was one of the best places we've been to. I usually don't like to post critical reviews but the fact that I just spent $20 on a nearly inedible burrito makes me want to warn others. Everything was unbelievably bland and tasteless- except the raw onion pieces absolutely overwhelmed any other hint of flavor. My mouth still tastes like I bit into a raw onion. There was barely any chicken as well. Everything was soggy and flavorless. I had to stop after eating just about and 1/8 of it. After what seemed like a long remodel, Burritoville has finally reopened! But if you've been here before then you will probably not notice much of a difference. It's in a great location on Magnolia Ave right next to the theater. There's street parking that is usually open and a parking lot across the street for your convenience. The staff is friendly and service quick, which gives it that more fast-food Mexican restaurant feel. I ordered the al pastor burrito with hot salsa. I've never been much of a spicy person, but their salsa is the pico de gallo style so hot is not that hot. In my opinion, the variety and quality of salsa is one of the key indicators that separates the best to the average restaurants, so there is something left to be desired here. The burrito is filling and a great deal for Larkspur at $8-10 depending on the meat you get. The al pastor isn't as flavorful as I would have liked, but the vast menu gives you plenty of other options to try. When I was in there last, I saw that they had chilaquiles on the menu, which is almost impossible to find around here and my absolute favorite breakfast. I will definitely try it in the near future and keep anyone posted on it goes. read more

Burritoville has been a source of happiness during this pandemic. It's very here easy to place an order over the phone or in person to pick up. Convenient parking on the street or in the lot across the street and boom you're on your way with a tasty burrito. We love their vegan Tofu Chili Verde burrito. It comes loaded with lots of tasty tofu, beans, rice, guacamole and salsa. A completely wonderful concoction without a need to modify. Thanks to the owners for making it easy for someone with dietary concerns to order. There's a great deal of variety on their menu, something for everyone actually. Great, well-seasoned, freshly house made salsas also. Make sure you ask for them as the salsa bar is closed off for safety. If you haven't been here yet, what's wrong with you? Give them a try. We sought this place out after hiking because we enjoyed the food and friendliness here so much the last time we were here, and we hoped we could find it again. What a gem! If you are looking for great tasting Mexican food, look no further! Come on in and EAT! This is a casual spot - order at the menu, bring your food to your table, bus your own plates. The food comes rather quickly and while you are waiting for your food there is a great help yourself salsa bar with 4 different types of salsas to try! Chips and salsa are $1.50 but the workers are very nice and gave the chips to us for free. Pricing is a little higher than what I expected for a place without table service and Mexican food (plate prices ~$16 and tacos ~$4-5 each) but the quality and quantity of food are well worth the price.
