I called Ralph at R & M and told him that my carpet had cat stains that needed to be removed. He said that he has done work similar to this before and he would be able to do the job the next day. Upon arrival, he was in his service truck and told me to let my neighbor know that he would have to block their cars in while he was working. He was rude on the first second I met him. Then when he saw my staircase and walked into my living room where I needed the carpets steam cleaned, he told me that I needed a disaster clean up!!!! He literally walked in and out of my house in 3 minutes. He kept shaking his head and saying he couldn't do it and was actually angry at me for wasting his time. I called North Coast Carpet Cleaning and they did a great job. Honestly, whether or not he could have done the work, there was absolutely no reason for his crappy attitude and rudeness! Ralph has cleaned that carpets at both my gym and my business and I highly recommend him. Our house we rent has white carpets and they get very off white after a while and stain very easily. I called this company to get a service done for a client. The gentleman I spoke to was very rude off the bat. He assumed that since I was phoning him that I was looking for a referral fee for setting up an appointment for a client. After I informed him that I was not looking for that at all and I was just looking to service a clients headboard that was delivered wrinkled he continued with saying his minimum fee and he needed payment at job site (which is reasonable). When I proceeded to tell him that he was being very rude, and I would prefer to take my business elsewhere, he hung up saying "ok yada, yada yada yada..." If you want a carpet cleaning that's worth doing then call R&M. His machinery is incredibly powerful and his cleaning solution doesn't have that chemical smell. He got out almost all of the absolute filth of a white carpet in the place I moved into, but he was also very up front about what could not be cleaned off and why. Seems like a real expert. Compared to this Stanley Steamer is like McDonald's. read more
