I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are talking about, because I get takeout from here all the time and it's always been phenomenal! I thought I'd write a review to clear up some of the bad comments because this is my favorite local pizza place! Some mentioned the sauce being bland, but it's one of the best pizza sauces I've had in a while. And the spaghetti sauce is out of this world! Someone also mentioned that they don't put enough cheese on the pizza, and maybe that could've been true years ago before started going here, but they actually put so much on that I ask for light cheese on my pizza. And finally, I've seen a few people mention that the employees are rude, but I've never seen them be anything but friendly towards me and the other people picking up their orders. I ordered the spaghetti. It was pitiful: 90% pasta and 10% cheap, canned marinara sauce. These guys have no business marketing that they're from Italy bc they offer no love, no meat, tasteless spaghetti. I don't know about their pizzas but their spaghetti is "Fast Food Italian," as in dogfood. I called Rio, one of the Two Guys. He said they could add more (canned) marinara sauce but it would cost extra. So for the regular price you don't actually get a spaghetti dinner, you get 10% of a spaghetti dinner and 90% left over pasta. You have to pay more to get more lowest quality marinara sauce. Rio offered to provide more marinara sauce for free but this would involve making a special to pick up more of their low quality canned sauce when I can get far better tasting Ragu or Prego sauce from the grocery store. You Two Guys from Italy should be ashamed of yourselves. You should call yourselves Two Guys who market the fact their Italian to use the lowest quality ingredients and pawn it off as "spaghett". Back in the day this place was very good. It's not that good anymore. They have both square and thin crust pizza here. I usually get the Square. Last few visits seem to be very consistently poor. The dough is bland and unsalted. The sauce is sweet and taste like out of a can. Toppings are kind of sparse. Overall not much flavor. read more

Wow. What happened guys. I have ordered from here 50+ times but the last two orders have been nothing short of sad. With so many options for pizza in Detroit area, why are some pizza owners not taking this crap seriously. I ordered the family 2 topping special with antipasto and bread sadly it took 1 hour 15 to arrive vs the 45 they told me. All good. Except it was cold....and very little cheese on 1/4 of the large. Weird. The salad has brown lettuce which is not cool as well. So many of the pizza places use old lettuce why? They need to slow down, inspect ingredients and deliver warm pizza. read more

"It's edible" is basically the consensus from my group. We got pizza, breadsticks, garlic bread, wings and a side greek salad. Breadsticks were okay, Greek salad has beets which I didn't realize but was otherwise fine. For me, the pizza tastes like cafeteria pizza you would have in middle school. The wings were a weird texture, like soft almost instead of having any crunch. With all the competition, I think this won't be a repeat experience . read more

Man, I was so excited!! The rav came with a salad and garlic bread.. that's top notch!! I received the order, and the pizza was good! Loved it! The Ravioli looked amazing!!!! The sauce looked incredible, and full of meat .. I called to confirm, and the guy on the phone could not give a F- about my concern . I've ordered from this place 4+ times, I usually order the same thing. The lasagna dinner. My older brother was hanging out with me at the time too, it was a Sunday night. We BOTH ordered the same thing, keep this in mind as you read my review. We ordered our lasagna dinner around 7:30 pm, watched a movie around 8 pm. I fell asleep on my couch around 10:30 pm and he went back home. At around 3:30 am, I woke up in my dead of sleep so go use the toilet, and to my surprise had crazy massive shits, not usual to my normal bowel movements. About a half hour on the can, I went upstairs to bed around 4 am, only to go back down back the stairs to complete my massive shit. It was unpleasant. My brother texts me the next day, apologizing for not cleaning his mess, no problem. I ask if he has massive shits, HE DID TOO, AT 4 AM. WHAT THE FUCK. That is plain food poisoning. Make the extra trip and spend that extra money to go to the other Italian restaurant on 12 and Dequindre. read more

The stars are for the value of the food. My mom and husband enjoyed the chicken parm. What we thought was a side of sauce wound up being a side of spaghetti so that wi wind up as lunch. I never thought I would say this but there was too much cheese on the lasagna. The pizza was middle of the road ok. The bacon onion bread was good. The chocolate cake that everyone raved about was dry and definitely came from GFS or something. Overall good value but we didn't love it. read more

We've been getting carryout from here on a regular basis. Our go to is the Chicken Parmesan. My bf and I share the order, between the 2 large pieces of tender chicken, the side of pasta, garlic bread & salad it's enough for both of us. The price is really reasonable too. We tried the lasagna once and didn't care for it, so we're sticking with the Chicken Parm. We'll probably try a few more things soon, I'll update when we do. read more

A friend ordered us takeout from here today and it was super tasty. We had a regular/thin crust pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, and a Detroit-style meat lovers pizza with sausage, pepperoni, ham, etc. Definitely will be doing takeout or delivery here at some point - I had heard of them but never had their pizza before. Mediocre flavor, pizza crust was average at best and incredibly greasy (soak through the bottom of the pizza box greasy) Jalapeño poppers looked and tasted like they came out of a box. This place is a joke anymore. I use to order from them all the time and every time it has got worse. This last time has beyond sealed the deal from them. I always support local and pay the extra fee but no longer. I placed my order with slice and it said a wait time of an hour which was fine. Then when I called after it was getting close to an hour and a half, they said the drive should be there soon. The guy just put my order in after it's been two hours now. The woman on the phone was so rude to me because they were closed by now and I still had not received my food. Well! First time getting food from two guys! And we were not disappointed. We ordered a medium pizza with three toppings, and my husband devoured it, said it was great, tasty and delicious. I have to say that it smelled wonderful but I did not have a piece. I ordered the Italian sub and I liked it very much. Perfect amount of meat cheese and toppings. It came with a package of salad dressing but I used my own olive oil and wine vinegar to sprinkle on. While I like a crunchy crisper bread, this was by no means a fluffy dough ball. I enjoyed it very much, and coming from a born and bred jersey girl that says a lot! Now the pictures of those cannolis!!! I ordered two cannolis. When I got there the guy apologized and said his new order of cannoli shells have not been delivered so he gave me some cannolis that were broken and filled I said OK, but when I got home and opened the box and saw six cannolis I was thrilled! We ordered Two Guys for our wedding rehearsal dinner in our backyard. Jeff was amazing to work with! I stopped in the day before to order, and he walked me through what he thought I would need. We ordered over $50 in food and when we got it home the pasta was wrong (we paid extra for sausage and cheese which was missing) and we were missing an order of onion rings. My husband called and they said they would remake the missing and incorrect items but not the whole order so not only did he have to drive back to the store our other food was cold from sitting for 40 minutes. They didn't give us anything for our inconvenience (extra time and gas) other than a half hearted apology.
